One of the best overlay stamping videos I've seen and the staining instructions are easy to follow. Thanks for sharing your skills and product suggestions! This would look great on a kitchen or bathroom floor!
Wow! Great to see your application method. My first time watching stamped concrete overlay videos. I learned a lot and can't wait to try this with the stamps. Thank you.
Thanks! Many people like waiting for it to dry longer, but I find the wetter your mix is, the better the imprint and texture will be. This probably wouldn't work with powder release though.
You were good to make such a detailed video about stamped concrete overlay. I got a lot out of it. One thing that confused me, though, was when you stapled the metal mesh to the plywood before pouring on the concrete. If the base surface is concrete instead of plywood, is the mesh layer still required? If so, how is it attached. Thanks!
Not at all. If applying the overlay to concrete, the concrete must be prepped by degreasing/grinding (depending on the condition of the slab), Applying a bonding agent called SureBond, and then the SureStamp overlay.
Great video! Is there a way to color the main brick color with a red color and then have the grout lines colored with a cement or gray color so it looks like a true brick layed into cement?
I have a driveway that I just extended, and now old vs new looks odd obviously. I am considering to do this. Your video was great. My question is .. I am going to be covering a much larger area than you are doing in this video. Can I do it in smaller sections and then continue where I left off or will the stops and starts look obvious? (or will those areas crack)
Very well done! Hope you can tell us what bowing do you get with the OSB underlayment bc you wet one side with the concrete? Also, Can this technique be used to create a stone veneer on a house foundation?
Yes this technique can definitely be put on a foundation. You would need to grind the concrete, apply surebond, and then the surestamp before the surebond dries. If the foundation hasn't been poured yet they can stamp on the fresh foundation too. I would recommend adding a vapor barrier to plywood if doing the method in this video
Concrete stamping technology has come a long way. This was great
I'm glad you liked it!!
Oh man I love that color combination
Thank you!!
Fantastic, great of you to share this know how. tis will hhelp in future project and will sure inspire others.
Glad it was helpful!

All of your products make me want to try every single technique. I think that this would have been a great career!
Never too late to try something new :)
Excellent video with detail information - builder recently done our garden and it was a mess so I sent him this video hopefully he can rectify it
Sounds like you need a new builder!
I like that you showed your mistakes and adjustments
Better for me to have the mistake while filming than for you to have it while following my instructions!!
Great instructional piece. I now know how it is done!
Glad it was helpful!
Nicely done. Great information. A lot of work but will save me thousands in labor fees. This is my next DIY project. Thanks!

Use a gray stain and scrub it off of the brick tops with a sponge while avoiding the grout lines
Outstanding work man!
Thanks!!
Nice work!
Glad it was helpful!!
Lovely look.

Best to do it all in one go, or to start and stop along the control joints
Looks amazing. Could this be done on a large gently sloped driveway?
This product is meant to be put on driveways :)
@@GlobMarble do you have a video where you show how to do a large area? The drive is at least 25' x 50'. and where you at?
Nice video. I want to do something like this for my driveway. I would prob have to hire someone for this
Overlay concrete is the easiest and most beginner friendly method of stamping. You won't regret trying it for yourself!
Good job nice video
Glad you liked it!
Beautiful finish!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Outstanding, it turned out beautiful. Can you show us how you moved it and placed it to its permanent location?
I did this on a plywood sheet just as a sample. Usually, this overlay material is stamped on existing concrete driveways. On-site
can you give me an idea about cost and where the best place to busy stamps and dies for colour
Best place is GlobMarble, all the links to tools and materials are in the description of the video!
Can it used over existing internal ceramic tile floor with concrete slab substrate?
We recommend removing the ceramic tile and prepping the concrete surface underneath
Nice work yo!
Thanks!!

Cool channel man.
Thanks!
Great vids bruh. Awesome work
Glad you like them!
Awesome work
Thanks!
I thought you might of started stamping a little to early but turn out good man
This material works a little different from standard concrete. It allows you to have much more in-depth and detailed looking stones :)
Great job.
Thanks!
Nice Job.
Thanks!
Amazing❤️
Glad you liked it!
Do you have any videos of dusting technique for molds?
Are you referring to powdered stamp release like in this video?- ruclips.net/video/VpZl_ePg2RY/видео.html
Very cool. What Excatlty are these used for when finished?
This can be done to your entire driveway instead of on a sheet of plywood
@GlobMarble this product is ment only for driveways? What about bathrooms or floors ect?
It can be applied to any cementitious surface
What tool is best for trimmng up those edges you drew in after.
Can you elaborate? What do you mean by trimming?
If the main concrete is stamped.Which is less costly to make the borders stamped as well vs borders to be acid wash ??
The borders to be stamped, it looks much prettier, most people find plain borders to look cheap :)
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed!
Nice video
Glad you liked it!
How thick and thin can an over run within the same slab...
The thickness will always depend on the stamp itself. some stamps require a thinner thickness than others
Looks good. Can this process be done over existing concrete sidewalk?
Yup :)
It is beautiful.
Thanks!
I am wondering if your overlay can be made to look like saltillo tile?
Of course! It works with any concrete stamps
Fantastic
Thanks!
Looking for a saltillo tile stamping example.
Stay tuned, a video like that is coming soon
Good job!
Thanks!
Looks Great to Me
Thanks!
Good class
Thanks!

Thanks!!
Good stuff! Thanks for such a detailed video.
Question: do you have a preferred material to fix concrete cracks?
Here is a link to what I use- globmarble.com/concrete-crack-repair-cartridge.html
For large cracks I mix the epoxy with dry sand and use it like a putty
Now I’m bricked up!
Great joh
Glad you liked it!!
