Hands down the best video how to stamp your concrete I’ve seen. Thank you so much for sharing what you learned. Great Video!
Glad it was helpful! Thankyou so much!! I couldn’t find this type of explanation when I was researching so I figured I could fill the void
Ive been in the concrete industry 17 years, and you are right concrete is forgiving. Grrqt job for your first time!
Thanks so much! So many people in the industry were so rude on my IG comments. as if I was a professional. I appreciate it!
F them! They’re just rude and mad that people like you exist & have enough courage to try doing it yourself vs hiring them… 👍
You realize you explained this process better...than most concret professionals. I have been in the building industry for over 35 years.....They just dont know that simple is the best way to teach....GREAT JOB....ABSOLUTELY
Aw thanks that means a lot!! I found it SO HARD to find anyone on here that explained it slowly with all my questions so I’m glad people are really noticing and learning from my experience!!
You did an excellent job!!!! Thank you for showing your mistakes so we can learn from them! Not many people are willing to do that and I found this to be more helpful than other videos where everything looks picture perfect.
Perfect, all I needed to know with no waffle inbetween. Thanks from the UK.
Been reviewing videos for something on stamping concrete and yours is the first to actually get in to the details of the How-to. Thanks.
Thanks I really appreciate that! I was trying to find something in depth, and I couldn’t find anything so I figured I would be the one to make the video haha
You speak very clearly and calmly which I like.
thanks for the compliment! did you check out any of my other videos?
Well done. Excellent work. I am about to make stepping stones for our garden and want to give them some texture/pattern. You have really help me to decide on what I could do. Thank You 👍🏻 😊
I totally beleive in it and admire the lady for her confidence and courage.
I did a little bigger area but concrete delivered was already dry and non moveable the ready mix took money in advance and left us high and dry.
I made a loss on that project of my family freind took responsebility and paid 4k from my pocket.
Now i had the same plan as this lady,i am 75 but not giving up i will do my house aroundfront and back and i am pretty sure it will turn out good and if there are minor imperfection do not care its your own job no one should look through microscope
You are so determined!
Thanks so much for your kind words
Keep at it💪🏽🔨
i did the diy for my front and driveway. first timer and it turned out so great - just wait till you flirt with the stains and sealers - loved it
I am planning to stain it in the next month or so when the weather gets nicer here in Canada. What colour did you go with?

Oh, you absolutely can!! I saved so much money. I’m sure it’s not to the perfection that they would do. But I absolutely love it lol.

Awesome job ! Great video with all good info. Are there any links you recommend for the stamps or power?
I got the stamp on amazon and I was shocked at how well it worked!
Looking good!
Thank you! Cheers!
Wonderful 👍
Thanks! I’m so happy with it
This looks amazing. Where did you get the spectrum concrete release powder? And what color did you use?
I got it at a local concrete supply company near me. you can also order it online. I used charcoal but it is definitely NOT charcoal (still love it though!)
This looks amazing and such an importation for us! May I ask where you get the concrete stamp?
Thanks!! I hope I could help you. I got it off Amazon.
You did good!
Thankyou!!
You did great!!! Any info on that stamp? Planning on doing the same.
I got it on Amazon! I can find the exact link if you like?? Worked great
@@dcwoodworks May you please share the exact Amazon link? I looked there but wasn't able to find much. Great job. You just inspired a lot of people to do what you did. 👍
Just a simple tip! Tap the form work with a hammer 🔨 that will raise the air bubbles, and make it easier for a top finish 👍
Awesome Job! Thanks for sharing. May you share where to find the concrete stamp mat.
Thankyou! I found it on Amazon! For a fraction of the cost
@@dcwoodworks May you please share the exact Amazon link? I looked there but wasn't able to find much. Great job. You just inspired a lot of people to do what you did. 👍
Great job. What is the powder that you used?
Thanks! It’s called concrete release powder! It colours the concrete but also allows the stamp to release easily
Love it!!
Thank you!!
not bad for DIY. the beauty of it, is its suppose to looks rustic like a rock and those aren't perfect either. great job
Thank you very much! That’s exactly it. I’m excited to do it again in our back yard!!
Well done
thanks so much!
Stamp and powder link?
Thanks for showing us how to stamp concrete. Now that I want to try to do it. I can't seem to find a place that sells the stamp. Would someone please tell me where I should look for stamps?
I've used a pitch fork to consolidate along the edges and release air bubble 😅 use whatever you got 😊
Gotta get it done!! 💪🏽
Quest without using cement rebar/remesh chairs when you push down with the shovel you just pust down the wire mesh now you have to repull up the wire? Or you not going all the way down with shovel? I think getting the cement chairs would needed important for Ned to big jobs or iam wrong and not needed
Thank you so much...
You're most welcome
Wait, they sell mixer blade that attached to drill or inpack drivers. When I install a Final fence on the post I needed cement I use they mixer that around $12 mixed up the cement with easy like butter
What release powder did you use?
A credit to you good video
Thanks so much!
Did you make relief joints?
I did! A week after. Not filmed. I’ll show them in my updated video I’m going to post soon
You just got a sub!!!!
Great job!
Problem
Can’t find the skins on Amazon
Well at least the one or similar to the one you are using.
Maybe a brand? Would help?
Thank you again
God bless!
Thanks for subbing!! I cant find the one I bought either.. The only thing on it is a stamp on the back that says BONWAY
@@dcwoodworks Thank you for the reply.
I searched for Bondway concrete stamps.
Found them on Amazon but not the stamp you used.
What they do have is affordable stamps and rollers.
Thanks again
God Bless
@@dcwoodworks Oh, and yes I did add the “ d”
Hi, I do my own patio and I put the stamp on it but the all concrete is dry , what can I do
Fine af.
Nice
Thanks!! It was a huge undertaking 😅
can you put concrete on top old old cracked concrete?
I wouldn’t and I don’t think you’re supposed to. It’ll eventually shift and crack the new concrete
Don’t you have to seal it at the end? Just wondering.
Yup!! I didn’t video that.
Bad ass!
Better and Easy to Measure water per bag
I totally agree
Concrete release powder link please?
That looks so expensive. Tons of curb appeal and home value for a diy.
What kind of form are you using?
It’s thin plywood/mirantee board. 3/8 thick
Where do u get your concrete stamps ?
I got them on Amazon!
@@dcwoodworks do u have a link
@@dcwoodworks May you please share the exact Amazon link? I looked there but wasn't able to find much. Great job. You just inspired a lot of people to do what you did. 👍
Does the ground have to be level?
Not extremely. As long as is tampered down but it can go up or down a slop
Slope
Good job, At least I shall appreciate your sample slab
Beautiful Smile ma'am 😍 🤎
Thanks!
Daaaang, you’re not only a cutie but a hottie as well.
Betcha you make beautiful & smart babies!!.
Great job but someone left a baby at your doorstep. 😬
Hahahhahahahaha. That made me LOL
wayyyyy too much water in your mix.
Worked well for me!
@@dcwoodworks That may be true, but it does weaken the strength of the concrete.
@@dcwoodworkslooks great but he’s right. Pouring too wet significantly reduces its strength and increases the risk of cracks down the road. Great job though! 👍
Shepherd's Chapel Network !!!!!!! Do you know where America is mentioned in the Bible ??????? Shepherd's Chapel Network !!!!!!!
Awesome job! I cringed a little when you used your husband's 4' level to even off the concrete.
Cute you thought it was my husbands level.
@@dcwoodworks haha. Hey what's the Amazing link to the stamp you used?
Hmmm not bad but why didnt you link where you got the mold in the description?
Great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
I might have missed it, but what release powder did you use (and color) and did the concrete have any pigment mixed in or color hardener added? I like the color it turned out a lot
