    You realize you explained this process better...than most concret professionals. I have been in the building industry for over 35 years.....They just dont know that simple is the best way to teach....GREAT JOB....ABSOLUTELY

    I totally beleive in it and admire the lady for her confidence and courage.
    I did a little bigger area but concrete delivered was already dry and non moveable the ready mix took money in advance and left us high and dry.
    I made a loss on that project of my family freind took responsebility and paid 4k from my pocket.
    Now i had the same plan as this lady,i am 75 but not giving up i will do my house aroundfront and back and i am pretty sure it will turn out good and if there are minor imperfection do not care its your own job no one should look through microscope

    i did the diy for my front and driveway. first timer and it turned out so great - just wait till you flirt with the stains and sealers - loved it

    This looks amazing. Where did you get the spectrum concrete release powder? And what color did you use?

      I got it at a local concrete supply company near me. you can also order it online. I used charcoal but it is definitely NOT charcoal (still love it though!)

    Just a simple tip! Tap the form work with a hammer 🔨 that will raise the air bubbles, and make it easier for a top finish 👍

      Thanks! It’s called concrete release powder! It colours the concrete but also allows the stamp to release easily

    I've used a pitch fork to consolidate along the edges and release air bubble 😅 use whatever you got 😊

    Quest without using cement rebar/remesh chairs when you push down with the shovel you just pust down the wire mesh now you have to repull up the wire? Or you not going all the way down with shovel? I think getting the cement chairs would needed important for Ned to big jobs or iam wrong and not needed

    Wait, they sell mixer blade that attached to drill or inpack drivers. When I install a Final fence on the post I needed cement I use they mixer that around $12 mixed up the cement with easy like butter

      I searched for Bondway concrete stamps.
      Found them on Amazon but not the stamp you used.
      What they do have is affordable stamps and rollers.

      I wouldn’t and I don’t think you’re supposed to. It’ll eventually shift and crack the new concrete

      @@dcwoodworkslooks great but he’s right. Pouring too wet significantly reduces its strength and increases the risk of cracks down the road. Great job though! 👍

    I might have missed it, but what release powder did you use (and color) and did the concrete have any pigment mixed in or color hardener added? I like the color it turned out a lot
