What Jaguar is doing and what I see from them, I have no hope for them tbh, their losing their identity, Jaguar meant to be a luxury car brand for the middle class who earned where they want and buy Jaguar as a jumping point into the top luxury brand, for those who can't afford the likes of Rolls Royce and Bentley but want that British luxury pedigree, Jaguar is if you want a sporty or a luxury car from them, make you feel like a villain and such, but what Jag is doing is far from what they are doing, cashing in on a dying trend that everyone's jumping off now, they are too late to the punch and gonna be even late and career ending because no one's gonna buy EV's anymore, especially if its a Jag, Elon and Tesla hit the home run with their EV cars, the other car companies are trying to copy or not being innovative enough to do their own thing, just bland, ironic Jag said that their "Copy nothing" yet there copying what everyone else were copying off, and that is doing EV cars, there's nothing original with EV cars, you cannot be innovative with EV other then the style and performance, but EV's are good at acceleration but not top speed to top speed and acceleration over time, so yeah
Sorry for long wall of text, but I love Jag since their F1 days, so yeah

I think Jaguar knows what they're doing. They did say copy nothing so we'll see what they didn't copy on 12.2 😄

I think you’re absolutely wrong if you look at most concept cars and futuristic vehicle even down to a cyber cab this is the design language. I think we’re going to see in the next 10/15 years. It’s gonna be somewhat revolved to super smooth electric vehicles. It’s the next phase.

I hate the new logo. They just didn't need to butcher it that much. They had a strong brand to begin with. The only thing I can think is maybe it will make sense when we see the car?

I have had 2 jaguars and own an i-pace at the moment. I like the new logo, and it was supposed to be rebranding. That means it will not be like anything it was before. And that is EXACTLY what they did. What about it is so hard for people to understand? And we have known about this rebranding for 4 years now....

Very well said! 👌 The ad has absolutely nothing to do with automotive. I mean you spend a lot of money to get your product advertised and convince people to buy it. Here I don't see absolutely anything like that. They should really focus on delivering innovative designs and reliable cars.

The car Jaguar will show on December 2 is a concept car that they will never produce. The XJ you critiqued was designed when Ford owned Jaguar and the interior shows that it.

People keep saying,"is it jaguar?" Or "it doesn't look like jaguar" it's not supposed to 😒the whole point is for them to change up what they are doing in their car design

I am 30 and have worked on my cars since I could drive when I became 18. What I want in new cars is reliability and simplicity. They would sell to me if the showed how easy it is to change brakes, or oil. This comercial here is just smooth brained.

If they now droped a new fire breathing super charged V8 coupé while every man and his dog is talking about how sh*t the new ad is, it would be THE most BRILLIANT marketing stunt of the century! I don't have high hopes though..

    Car guys are totally, yesterdays-romantics.
But this era will be completly gone in the 10 years...
cars will be like computers or mobil-phones.
You will have an apple iphone on wheels.
No more individual signs left... but spending big money for gimmicks and a cool, trendy image.
Will jaguar be something like this - a trendsetter?
    Future is comming.

    • @theFORZA66
      @theFORZA66 57 минут назад

Trend-follower, not setter. Trends are fickle, and jaguar is sacrificing their image in favor of capitalizing on an already dying trend. Not smart

My favorite Jaguar were XJS, XJ220 and the C-X75.. The ad was successful, it capture the attention of everyone, but looking at the suppose initial design, it will flop. Jaguar stand for elegant curves and classy beauty.😔
