I don't find the shoulder line on the X too low at all; in fact, I find it very interesting. It even makes sense to have more mass in that area to accommodate the crash structure, as that's where another vehicle would impact in the event of a side collision. Its like a side bumper. I like it!
I just love how the side view of the Neue Klasse X concept reminds me so much of the original X5! The sedan looks much better than their current models too (i know that isnt saying much, but still, progress).
The m3 replacements doors don't even reach the bottom of the glass, therefore the line is inconsistent... It's like two different people have worked on it without communicating with each other

Do not shrink the greenhouse of the sedan! The late Camaro is proof the chopped, narrow greenhouse might look cool but it doesn't sell. Outward visibility is more important when you own/drive it!
I also look at the inverted hockey sticks in the taillights as key bmw feature, most of the models have the outside section going higher than the inside section of the lights

Both these look ok. The changes to make them BMW is move the front wheel 2inch forwards. Make it look like an inline 6 will fit behind the shock towers.
The models they use in these videos are such a strange choice. Jaguar's rebrand was the same: cast a bunch of skinny black and asian 30 year old women. It feels so inauthentic for a brand like this.

I really like the grille treatment on the Neue Klasse X concept. That's what a BMW grille should look like. Petite, unintrusive and very 80's. It's weird we've been complaining about BMW grilles getting larger and larger yet everyone seems to be in favor of the ultrawide Neue Klasse grille. I mean I know consumers are fickle but this is downright bipolar.
You can find spy shots that were posted recently on the upcoming i3 and 3 series. ICE version has neue klasse design graphics but with a proper RWD, long hood, almost g60 5 series proportions…with quad exhausts like the new x3 m50
I wish BMW would just take their 1999/2000 designs from off the shelf for the 3- 5- and 7-Series, give them modern powertrains and infotainment (tastefully integrated) and put them back on sale. I would pay handsomely.

I wish BMW could move away from this idea of having the twin kidney grill on EVERY model. It works for gas vechicles because it serves a purpose, unlike an ev. While I don't like the Neue Kiasse X's fake grille, I like what BMW did with the splitter at the bottom, giving it that separated, almost twin kidney like look. If BMW could somehow incorporate a twin kidney inspired graphic to the battery intake, I think it could seriously improve their ev designs. That way, the twin kidney design has a purpose for any type of vehicle powertrain
in my opinion that super wide grille in the Sedan kinda seems like the whole front from an E30, maybe even E36 era squished into the kidneys it feels like if we could have erased the last 30 years of BMW design, and replaced it by something else that just kept evolving the E30, E34, E38 look without any massive revolution like Bangle's work, or whatever happened in late 2010's - by today we'd still land in the same place As for the X, the additional grille does seem even closer to the classic look in my opinion (though its even earlier models like the 2002, E3 or E9), while on the other hand it seems like a transformation phase from the current-day Beavers like the outgoing 3/4 Series or the iX, into the classy Beamer again, like what the Neue Klasse sedan is

I cannot understand why Bembli fails to realise EVs are both more efficient and cheap in the long term when compared to petrol cars. Where i'm from, most of our power is produced by dams, so the electricity is fairly clean. Even though EVs weigh more, and don't have a legacy driver experience, it dosen't mean they can't be fun, and overall a good car :/
they need to stop making cars bigger, more powerful and pricey if they want to appeal to the everyday driver. If u spent 2 hours of your day in traffic you want a comfy, silent, efficient car. Cars have gotten so big and so powerful but nobody really drives them anymore.

The sedan has a wide, planted stance, while the X emphasises its higher stance, space. And yes, the low side windows are great, finally someone brings back the light into the cabin. I am sick of all modern designs where the glasshouse is smaller and smaller. Now they are even removing the rear window (Polestar, Jaguar), ffs.
