Looks to me like that Aspen tree fell in the right place... right in the fire pit. I have fibromyalgia, and one of the side effects of it is depression... I always feel better when I watch your videos. A sense of peace and calm always pervade the low times, and I'm always left inspired to get my old carcass outside where I belong. So thanks for continuing to crank out the good times. I'd love to share a camp with you sometime, if only Alberta and Alaska weren't so far apart... Peace to you my friend, it's always good to see you. ~Tim
I really enjoy your informative video’s, especially your laid back presentation without trying to sell anything but a comfortable way of backcountry living! 👍
I am woman and I am here because there are many things that I like about your channel but I will highlight the most impactful to me: your gratitude and your resourcefulness.
Another great campout. I had my name on that second breakfast sandwich, but you must've ate it. I enjoy this channel because you are a young man that actually handles his tools with skill. A lot gets done, without too much struggle. That is woodsmanship at its finest!
Thank you for sharing your experience/s with the rest of us. What we do not see is your editorial work, which must be very time-consuming. I always learn from you (and I will be 70 soon), and am always inspired to return to the forest, and to grow in my woodsmanship. Be safe, and enjoy the forest.
Finally. Someone who understands how to properly buck up wood with a saw. Even the really well known and deceased bushcraft folks really dont have the knowhow
Beauty camp and spatula. Between you, Swedwoods, and Asbjorn Olsen-Berg it is a trifecta of complimentary content. You restore that which society has lost. Days of Noah Bro. God bless. Maranatha!
I always get amazed when people find or when i find back things i left in the forest. It makes me realize that no one passed through that specific zone.
Nice to see how well the tarp camp survived the winter, you were lucky with how that tree fell. To bad it was an Aspen, between the rot and from what I remember aspen firewood is not very good. Totally agree about wieners cooked over a campfire on a stick being the best. If you try to duplicate that cooking method at home, remember to turn on the exhaust fan over the stove, open some windows, and most important. Take down the smoke alarm and pull the battery!🤣
Hope you found the egg shell in that 2nd egg you dropped in the skillet before you got a bite of it. Was hoping you would have seen it before the white covered it up. LOL. Good video. Thanks!
What a perfect camp, enjoy it my friend! Truly a work of art is your newest spatula, very nice work! Thank you for sharing your trip with us. God bless you brother.
Thanks for another great video. Glad to see you back out enjoying the outdoors. Hoping to be able to do this type of camping again myself now that I have a nice piece of property to be able to enjoy. No better way to relax and recharge. Keep up the great work.
Living the life man. I love your clips so much and just yearn to do what you do, but the time and place doesn’t allow me. Your clips are very relaxing and immersive, keep up the nice work! Much love.
Thank you Riley for this nice video, for some reason I didnt see it in april, when you publicited it on the channel, thanks anyways, looking forward to see more overnighters, the ones I like most.. thanks anyway, and peace and health for you!❤
Hey man I’m a new subscriber. I really enjoyed the simplicity of this trip. Your bush crafting skill are amazing man. Love the spatula man. And you are one of the few I watch that cooked a breakfast that looked so good and not burnt lol. Looking forward to your next one. Will be watching as many of your previous ones as well. Safe travels man
I really look forward to your videos. You've inspired me to order a Helko Rheinland hatchet and a Mora 120 carving knife so I can have my own adventures in the National Forest a km from my house. I've found a disused trail that isn't being maintained anymore and gets zero foot traffic. I'm sure I can find a spot there to get started. You're my favourite bushcrafting channel, love the minimalism.
My wife and I always enjoy your videos no matter the content. I'd like to see you do more improvements to this campsite. A friend of mine has a lot of wooded property here in Ky. and I'd like some more ideas about making a small, unobtrusive campsite there. Thanks for your videos!
Excellent brother Kusk👍👍 Nice to be able to return to a previously established camp and still find it standing and usable. Lucky with the tree, handy resource, firewood for days. Do you carry protection on trips not associated with hunting? Yeah, great camp, fire, food, activity and relaxation, hard to beat. Thanks for the work and trip, very enjoyable. See you soon.
I was hoping you’d set up a keyhole fire pit but you didn’t set up any fire pit at all. I should have known better because you’ve done that before. I’m just glad you posted another video 😊
I've used nothing but Sorel winter boots in the winter since age 3 to age 44, but I never thought to wear them out in the woods like that. You must have to lace them up tight for the hike in but I'm sure they're wicked comfy around camp...
I have watched for a long time. Love what you do. Here in Western Montana, we can't do what you do. The grizzly bears are so bad you cook anything they come running. It sucks.
Nice to see a young man enjoying the outdoors and his pipe. We old-timers remember the days.
You are the Bob Ross of camping. Thanks for the content!

Simple tools, extraordinary skill, true bushcraft spirit
Girlfriend: "Are you watching that bearded forest guy again?" Me: "Yep!"
"which one of them?"
I actually recommended this channel to my bf 😊
This is the "bearded woodsman" channel. There is also a "wooded beardsman" channel here on YT.
Snap
Wife has just said the exact same thing to me lol
It's such a good thing to have a 'happy place'.
I really enjoy your informative video’s, especially your laid back presentation without trying to sell anything but a comfortable way of backcountry living! 👍
Always so glad to watch your videos leaving that ‘stump’ standing is also so good for the eco the bugs will love it !!

We all need a "Happy Place". This seems to be it. Great campsite. Can't wait to see your home improvements.
Wonderful night out. Thank you so much for taking us along, I always appreciate the invite. Stay safe and God bless.
The spatula is awesome!!!!!
Very nice whittling jog to make that spatula. 🤠👍
Very Cozy. And that fire… zero to hero! Nicely done ✅ always inspired when I stop by. Thanks for sharing 😊
We finally have a nice day here in the mitten and I'm jonesing for outdoors!! So happy to see another one!! Hooray!!
Great video, you are the Richard Proenneke of our time.
This guys legit!!! I'm learning something everytime i watch. Thank you!
I simply can’t say enough just how much I enjoy your videos. I’ve watched numerous bushcraft channels and yours really is the best! ☮️💕
Bud, Your videos are so relaxing, inspiring and honest…🙏💯❤️
That tree. Most guys… “Oh man. Let me go back to the truck and get my chain saw…”
You rocked that thing from underneath with no issue. Love it 👍

Nice to see your old camp. That series was a fave of mine.

what a beautiful campfire. Bet it was lovely and warm. And that breakfast! oh my goodness!
That coyote sure didn't like you being there!
I always get amazed when people find or when i find back things i left in the forest. It makes me realize that no one passed through that specific zone.
I love that in the closed captions the AI thinks the logs cracking is applause. It makes it seem like the tree is pleased by your work with the saw. 😂

Ufc300 and a new kusk upload. Brilliant day to be alive!
That's The life man! Greetings from the woods in Sweden.

A little calcium is ok!

Thanks for sharing your time out.
Be well, stay safe and god bless!
Thank you for your peaceful videos! I can always learn something! Nice carving job!
Oh it’s still up and functional! That’s damn good.
Great idea! I'm gonna try rounding off just the part of the spine my thumb touches and keep a bit of square nearer the tip for the fire starter
Thanks for another great video. Glad to see you back out enjoying the outdoors. Hoping to be able to do this type of camping again myself now that I have a nice piece of property to be able to enjoy. No better way to relax and recharge. Keep up the great work.
Not exactly an amateur, but willing to learn new things! Thanks!
Long form is your best material. Great job and video Kusk!
Best episode yet! 10/10!!!
That was a great sunday morning watch for me in Oxford, England. Great skills - total respect for the environment. Looking forwarfd to the next one

Great channel my friend. Thanks for the inspiration.
I have watched for a long time. Love what you do. Here in Western Montana, we can't do what you do. The grizzly bears are so bad you cook anything they come running. It sucks.
So glad to see you've made a new Spatula... your other one with that thick edge gave me anxiety when you used it to flip things...lol.. take care
Nice camp, enjoy your videos
