It's because Biden is president and the world is full of chaos. You need to tie back to a calm, non-political environment to ground and center yourself. Your brain is literally seeking it out artificially from YT because it's the easiest recourse for you to get something similar.
I can't believe I finally saw a video where somebody just burns the trees in half instead of wasting all the calories bucking them up. I've been doing that for 40 years. Great video, great channel. And, may God bless you as well.
Honestly, you’re living every man’s dream. And getting paid for it. In a way I envy you, in another I’m so so happy for you. Thank YOU for sharing your adventures

You can tell how cold it is by the crush of the snow under your feet. There is something about this kind of weather that makes me feel alive. So invigorating... Even now at my age.
What a great video. I hot tent camped with my teenage son last weekend in 2 degree F weather, and that was with a stove, tent and big fluffy sleeping bags. We decided that was our limit. You, sir, are on another level 😊

Brother Kusk👍👍 Your approach to and easiness of enjoying the wild is much appreciated, few wilderness content creators show their true ability to live simply for the experience as you do. You have proven time and again "the more you know the less you need" scenario. There's too many creators out there that carry every new gadget, gizmo and gear, too complicated, which makes watching you that much more pleasurable. Breakfast sweet bread looked amazing, trying it out today unfortunately no campfire but thanks for the recipe. Good fire, good food, good time, thanks for the work. Stay safe and vigilant, see ya soon.
Agreed on the many content creators that carry every new gadgets, electrical source, expensive shit I cannot afford ,etc...more like luxury camping than TRUE camping. Now this is true outdoor camping using the available resources that Mother Nature provides 👍👏🌲🏕!! I enjoy these videos and plus learning.
Great trip, Kusk. Once you got that first fire going, it's game-on! I enjoy your practical, non-commercialized approach, and appreciate your resourcefulness. Thanks for sharing another great video!
Your videos are an absolute joy to watch. The sights, the sounds, even the smells which can easily be imagined. I smile beaming ear to ear as you revel in your tasks, and enjoy the simple things in life. I appreciate you taking us along for the most wonderful and valued experience. Cheers!
You are definitely the master of Bushcraft content creator videos! As some of the others have said, you exemplify, woods wisdom over carrying an abundance of gadgets and trinkets. Thank you for portraying a REAL wilderness woodsman and teaching us some amazing nuances to improve our skills. I love your channel, and your walking the wilderness talk. AWESOME!
Young man you need to make more videos. I love watching your old school way of camping I am 65 years young and have been doing bushcraft survival for 45 years old school style I've been doing bushcraft long before people knew what bushcraft was I watch two channels on RUclips and yours is one keep the videos coming my friend. 🌲🔥
That is how I like it. From the beginning to the end. Despite of that campfire, I would put something under the blanket, to isolate from ground. Nice to see another adventure and i can't wait for another.
Totally crazy and awesome to sleep in this ice cold forest and only the fire, tarp and a wool blanket, and with the nerves to cook in this environment like you were in your kitchen at home. But maybe this is your home… 🥶🥶🥶🥶
This surely helps take away the winter blues! Always a pleasure tagging along Riley and those wilderness cooked beaver tails served on freshly picked spruce branches...darn 👌😋 Great upload!
finally someone who (winter cold) starts with a fire BEFORE their shelter... It is okay to then let it become coals because that will easily reignite when it is time to eat, etc, but when you are building your shelter it is important to be able to warm up your hands if they get cold....... wow, my jaw dropped when I saw you place your ridge pole facing rear! That is brilliant!!
Hello, I an 67 now, Was in boy scouts, always had a fire pit in my yard, went camping etc. I would love to do this again nothing like a fire cooking being in the wilderness. Brings peace of mind and soul. This is a great video thanks so much 😊
Looks like you were very comfortable. Your preparation for what you knew would be there, wind, cold, access to firework and cooking temperatures made it enjoyable for us as well. Thank you. God Bless.
when kusk bushcraft shows up on my watch list, I make a cup and settle in...as always, excellent photography, good content with good flow, 1/2 hour is perfect for me....and can always count on a few good tips thru out...fyi, you have one of those voices that lends itself to holding an audience interest , many ways to use that to your advantage ....ty
So good to see you back, Kusk! Another great camp, and it looks like a new axe... very nice with your logo on it. My nine year old daughter and I really enjoy watching your videos together. She especially likes the cooking... I like the peace and solitude. Thanks for sharing! Peace to you from Alaska. ~Tim & Mary
The snow and ice is slowly melting here in northern England after a week or so of prolonged colder weather, and this upload is particularly welcome on a quiet Friday night 🥳
Fantastic. When I was you age, which was a long time ago, I camped out on a mountain pass in Wyoming when it was really, really cold. Did not have a tent or any shelter and no fire. I was very exposed to the elements. I recall waking up shivering during the middle of the night and wondering if I was going to survive. In the very early morning I got up and tried to get feeling back into my legs which were numb from above the knees down to my feet. Needless to say I was physically exhausted. Your video reminded me of that time. It would have been nice to have your skillset. Really enjoyed this video!!
That's it! All my regular camping gear is out for my next trip. I need a canvas tarp and just sleep in your clothes with a wool blanket. Makes stoking the fire easier and just everything becomes simpler actually. No fussing around. Same with these recipes. I do bannock too but that one looked great as did that breakfast and super simple. I've watched your videos before but this one is the one that's going to finally take me to the next level in bushcraft. Away from the modern stuff and instead making it about the simplicity of tried and tested approaches and gear. I'm already half way there. Now I need to finally go for a canvas tarp and then I'm going with this setup right here. Thanks for the inspiration!
I’ve been so looking forward to your next video, and this one was spot on. You have a way of bringing a peaceful and calming mood to my soul. Also love the winter weather. Stay safe.
I just got some of those bottles for the family, first thing I thought was how nice this would be for camping! My daughter used one when we camped on New Years and she loved it. Also those beaver tails look pretty fun, I’ll have to make some with the kids. Cheers!
That reverse tent pole really worked out well! Always a pleasure to watch you put your camp and cooking skills to work sir. Thing I always feared and had happen a few times was having some freak gust of wind clear all the snow from some nearby tree top I thought I had setup well clear of, and drop it right down on my gear, or worse my fire.😂 I entertained the local wildlife with my profanity on those occasions and when I saw that tree swaying feared the worse for you. Glad it didn't happen, great video!
City life in London can be really stressful, for some reason watching your adventures in Canada and in the 'wild' is a relaxing escape, all the best and keep up your wonderful life....
Genuinely good for the soul. Sat here enjoying the heat of the wood burner at home as the last log dies down to embers I'm almost there in the woods too! Nice work!
When I was in my teens in the uk I used to camp out on my own or with a friend in all weathers, even if there was snow on the ground. We cooked, made a camp and a fire and it was the best time ever. Finding someone who will do that now as an adult is impossible - they all think i'm mad. Such a shame. These videos are great, relaxing and remind me of my childhood.
I love the videos, especially the winter ones. However, I cannot work out which of us is the weird one! You for camping out in -20 or me for watching you camping out in -20!
Another great video. I really respect the fact that you camp in cold weather conditions without using a “hot tent”. As far as I am concerned, camping in cold weather using a hot tent is about as challenging as camping out in your living room. Keep these videos coming.

Thanks for watching!
Indeed.
