Get part 10234 and put them out front. It’s the rear shock extensions. It levels out the truck and makes it handle and jump far better. It’ll fix most the issues you’re having. Also turn your tsm almost completely off.
Very happy you have debugged it some. TSI issue well that's another issue, Still The Fan and heat sink should have been standard issue. Adjusting the oil in the shocks is a minor thing and a personal preference, Over all a way better car now. Enjoyed watching
if your wanting to see if theTQI or the AVC is working. leave the front wheels on the ground and wiggle the back end, back and forth, and observe the wheel movement. you can't see it doing it the way you're doing it.
I already swapped out recievers and it worked just fine the way I was doing it the wheels must be spinning on a Traxxas to work cant do that on the ground!
Glad you was able to improve it. Regarding the trim issue my experience was near opposite. It'd go straight accelerating usually but start pulling on decel. Braking was a mixed bag and did everything except go straight consistently. Also felt like i was either fighting the tsm constantly or it was just doing nothing. There wasn't much predictable or consistent about it. It is tough at least.
I have heard that from others too my braking was not bad it wants to pull on take offs apparently my tsm is dead I think it would glitch on for a second I swapped out the reciever after this and it works now. The servo saver being so loose it just lets the tires wander you cant keep them straight
I started with traxxas almost 10 years ago with a vxl rustler, called customer service and they treated me like I was a piece of garbage, had to put a lot of money into it just for it to run more than 15 minutes without something breaking, about a year later, went with the V3 Arrma Talion and never looked back at traxxas, so I feel ya, they just need to stick to the street and crawling world, Losi ,Tekno, Arrma, for me 🤘
Wow that long ago I guess they were about the only name in the game offering rtr stuff Tamiya was a model you had to assemble. There is a lot of competition now they need to wake up even a loyal customer like me owning 7 traxxas cars feels burned by them tell me its my driving I replace bad parts wow it actually drives now and I tell them the gyro is bad I swapped it out and it works they still demand I do their stupid reset then want to mail them the transmitter and receiver at my cost its 40 bucks retail for a new one!! Horizon would just send out a new one no problem. I am unboxing a new rc today and will be working on that video all I can say its not a Traxxas lol
Same here, gradually ditched Traxxas and as no surprise did the hobby feel alive again. Don’t wanna hate on Traxxas but the more you explore outside Traxxas the more Traxxas feel like the insecure bully.

Traxxas has done this so often its not funny. Release a car, then let the community of owners find out what or where the weakest link is in the design. Its not your driving. These RTR are set up to run at a very basic level. Servo saver and a stronger steering servo absolutely. And then depending where and how you drive it, tune the shocks and get some sway bars if your wallet allows it. I remember watching another video where it was suggested to put another set of risers for the shocks on the rears, on the front as well. All though it looks like you might have it sorted already. Thank you for the positive comment. I ordered that part lol. I have another video coming where I took it off the rear to see what it does. I haven't really had problems out of Traxxas except when my Sledge came out of the box with the antenna cut they didn't care part was backordered I had a usless brand new car. Pretty sad I went online ordered one so I could use my car. This time I put in a new receiver tsi works they still want me to send in all my equipment for testing. Its b.s. mail my equipment for testing be out the rc its a cheap part only has 30 day warranty its pathetic
Thank you I think its a faulty gyro its not responding at all every now and then it makes a wierd left turn I did notice on the app when I set the steering sensitivity the tsi made a wierd movement then went back like I got to see the glitch happen I have a new reciever in it I need to try
I think you’ll be so much happier if you went demaxx kit that and “monster slash” it. Basically put the next size tire up on it and cut those fenders. There videos showing how to monster stuff se the slash’s

As I’m laying her eating a Publix bakery almond bear claw and watching your video I noticed something that I thought I would tell you about. I think that your servo-saver or something connected to it is too loose… just an observation… I watch when you are going into a turn… it’ll be all smooth and then BOOM! The tires break loose in whatever direction you are turning in and the tires grip and you go tumble wumble 😬😬… just check it out. Might help
I know that thanks when you bind a remote it gets disabled something Traxxas was clueless about blinking light on the receiver its off steady green its on. When its blinking like mine was nothing turns it on.
is you receiver lights green,if is lighting red,that means that the tsm is off and you have to push the receiver button for about 5 seconds and then the light goes green,that enables tsm.when you switch many models with one remote,sometimes the receiver swithes tsm off for no reason.
You were mostly right the light is a flashing green its off steady green its on hold the button down for 2 seconds it turns red until you let go then its set. I did that and somehow this xmaxx servo doesnt like it at all just shakes and stuff its damn shame thats the 1 thing traxxas never asked.
I’ve watched your videos since you bought the MS and now it seems like you fixed the issues! No thanks to Traxx-ass! Looks like it’s driving like it should have out of the box! It’s sucks when a truck is already over priced and you still have to purchase $150 worth of parts to get it right! But it’s honest guys like you that call out a big company that helps the rest of us, the consumer, make the decision to buy this truck or not! I’m not a Traxxas guy myself and I don’t hold it against anyone who is. As long as you’re having fun that’s all that matters! Just sucks they treated you like that! Frankly Horizon would send you a whole new TX/RX for your troubles. Maybe try putting a Spektrum radio and receiver in it to see if it still turns on it own. Thanks for the video! Like you said you watch the video and make up your mind I just show it driving I was really expecting good things out of it I dont buy rc cars then smash them in big jumps for views. I keep it honest I swear people didnt watch this video just jumped on how rc cars flip and I cant drive wow watch the video did I improve overnight lol? Its driving better its what I expected out of the box anyone can see the tires moved way too easily usually you move the servo when you turn a wheel these were flopping around. Problem is way too many people just jump cars straight line stuff not many like me that actually drive them on the ground thats where it showed its flaw with the steering even rc guy garage said the trim was whacked and lazer rc said something everyone tells them ohh you can drive I know its the rc lol no pass for me ohh well I stand behind my work no objective here to promote one brand over another just honest opinion as to what I see and try to help people make a decision,

Strange that exocaged launched his like 30 and did a back flip and landed just fine? I bought one launched mine the same also practiced throttle control and I flipped 1 time in like idk 18 battery packs. Every rc car rolls bud. Try driving your pickup down the road at 75mph and crank the wheel you may be suprised.

I had one Traxxas, with gyro, I put the receiver in backwards, I took it spun it around and it worked. I'm not sure, it might be in there flopping around, if you have removed it and I'm not saying anything about you don't know what you're doing I'm just telling you what my self experienced, it also went along slower in reverse with it oriented incorrectly in the receiver box, just throwing that out there, I have no idea if it's been removed or not but just trying to offer you some direction on the gyro
I found the issue it will be coming up in a video I just filmed. A viewer pointed me in the right direction wrong info lol it got me looking the light blinks on the receiver tsi is off press the set button until it turns red then the light is steady tsi is on. The question is how does Traxxas not know this? They had me do all these resets then said mail both transmitter and receiver in at my cost

Garage life rc has a Veterans discount and they sell Corally and a bunch of parts. Traxxas for the most part makes some really nice durable cars. The customer service sucks I was about to get the new boat they released after having one guy tell me there was nothing wrong with the mutt it was too powerful and another telling me to mail in my stuff screw them I have something else coming. I am not a big company I do buy a lot of stuff and probably will end up buying again for the channel but it will be limited I though this was interesting enough I bought it. Traxxas will loose market share quick they keep rehashing the same crap with shiny parts and call it ultimate while never fixing any real issues. Kmart thought they were too big so did Sears people only stay loyal so long. The big rock is a blast I need to drive mine just been busy with all the new stuff. It can jump a little its a great street car or ripping through the dirt and grass its one I always recommend if the person is not into big air then I would say the Kraton would be the one. I actually like the factory tires being a bit slick it makes power sliding on the street possible also helps with traction roll overs its a fun rc for sure

But in the end whenever you bind different transmitter to traxxas receiver if goes tsm off by default blinking red light on receiver and has to be turned back on.

@@L2theWcarscoffeelife oh I don’t feel bad, I know traxxas sucks as a company they have some great “ platforms” I say platform because the electronics always suck, they have smaller companies that people like to call bad such as redcat outdoing them in the electrical comparntment, if you seen the new 1/5 they made it comes with a max 6 and it’s around the same price as the Maxx slash 😭. Traxxas customer support is also insanely bad for how popular they are compared to horizon support where they will fix or send you a new part for free within 2 weeks or take your feedback and actually listen to it
I never had a problem with anything Horizon hobby when the big rock had the glitch they sent me a esc never asked for the old one thats a lot of money traxxas wants my transmitter and receiver I pay to ship no way!! A viewer told me to check the light on the receiver he was right in a way it was blinking no tqi steady light tqi active how the hell they didnt know that no my problem is with tqi turned on the servo shakes like its having seizures makes no sense its the h.d. maxx servo it should work I was tempted to put the spektrum receiver in it but the box is too small go figure lol I appreciate the support
I dont have a Mojave at all I do have a Kraton 4s and its a great rc. Now I have this running good its fantastic the 6s power shows but its unfortunate Traxxas didnt do anything but drop all pressure from the front springs to hide how bad it drove. Seriously how hard would it be for them to redesign the servo saver so it would actually hold the wheels straight? Maybe just a new spring I dont know when you can turn the wheels and it doesnt even try to move the servo there is something wrong. It sucked out of the box with a servo and servo saver it rips. It still has issues with tires hitting something they should have found before release as well as the body just throws everything in the chassis like a trash can at least the Mojave has that insert in the body to shield everything and my Kraton has extended flares behind the wheels to keep dirt out and works very well

I e been out for a long time, I signed the dotted line at 18,did 4 on active, 7 in the reserves, honorable discharge from both. I'm bout 40 now, but I grew up fast, it was 2003 or 4 when I signed up. I'm glad I found a veteran channel to support. I'm trying to get a channel going but I got like one or two good videos, I got to get the gear, go pros and stuff, then I'll do build videos , from a pile of parts lol. I have a big rock 3s, I have a 130 amp ESC spectrum smart Firma ESC, 1900kv spectrum brushless motor, I use the one smart battery I have, on 3s , I've also put the Metal diff's in it , 4s shocks on it, anyway I can full trigger it and it'll just jump off the ground on 3s lol, I don't know what it'll do when I get a 4s battery, I gotta chill down the gearing in it, Metal pinion and spur is 55 tooth instead of 57 , that makes a big difference on the spur , just dropping a few teeth vs going up on the pinion, lol, but it's so cool to watch, it hwsca locker instead of a slipper, it'll literally, raise the front uo and the back tires just launch it into the air, i don't do i it much, lol. Man when I get me one then gps analyzer things I'll know more about the speeds it'll reach, I got belted tires, I just haven't put them on yet, gotta get some longer adapters, they are the proline belted trenchers with the interchangeable hexs on it, I got to get some longer ones. I also have a senton, it's pretty badass too , it's not built to the degree of the big rock, but it's got 120 amp Quicrun ESC and 3660 3200 Quicrun brushless motor, you can be on dry pavement and at half trigger it'll smoke the tires if you pull it open hehe, boy I love this hobby, I'm fairly new to it but I like to build them, that's as fun as driving. Going to get a granite roller today hopefully if it works out, then all I'll need is a vorteks lol, I guess I'm a arrma guy, but I'll drive anything, it's all fun, just mostly experience in building the arrma one's, has a two TRAXXAS and when I had em I liked them, a rustler and a slash, nothing to them but when I bought a box of parts they would make two almost complete 3s arrma rigs I was hooked, then I learned about Traxxas by them placing lawsuits on everyone, getting people RUclips channel shut down by some copyright vs or something, they got back but just doing it to be a ass because the damn channels were trying to make them look good and it's not justified. Thats how Traxxas tries to stay in business sue everyone. I like the cars I have but the Warranty is crap 30 days electronics that is it maybe if your lucky and a part breaks they might fix it where Horizon hobby has 2 years even Team Corally a much smaller company than Traxxas has 1 year. The hobby is fun and addicting the mutt max is faster it has more power I dont know how the Mojave jumps I saw a few videos it seems to be about the same as the mutt maxx they are ground trucks they do small jumps. The 4s Kraton and Outcast they will jump and love it the 6s Kraton wow the power to weight is outstanding I accidently cleared that big valley of concrete that drainage ditch with it I measured it once I think it was 40 ft!! 6s is bigger than 4s the smaller is fun more nimble and still fast every rc is a bit different thats why I have so dang many lol I am enjoying it from boats to planes cars trucks I am having a good time
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife I'm sticking by , the videos of the 4s Mojave was out doing the 6s Mojave From what I've seen and Earl Moorhead is a great mechanic on these and real size vehicles he usually pulls out them Traxxas systems and puts in max 5 or sixes or something, I saw I put the factory ESC back in just so he could have lights which I didn't understand that but he's very professional sure I say because I would have got one in light bars off valley Express and ran that joker to that fan connection on that ESC and kept fire from there ran to the receiver and got it I'm just not impressed with traxxas's power systems and like you say they're warranty 30 days pretty much let you know or it does me that they don't have much confidence in it yeah it might run like hell but I don't think it'll run like an arrma lmfao. @idan678 Horizon has won me with thier warranty any issues I have not had a problem getting parts. The gyro is dead in this contact them despite telling them this transmitter is bound to all my Traxxas cars they want the tuning crap done I do that now at my cost mail the transmitter and reciever to them for review its 40 bucks! Only for 30 days how many parts can you warranty in a pathetically short period to justify this? Probably cost them 10 bucks I swapped it out and the gyro works they keep acting like thier crap doesn't sink Arrma keeps pushing out better cars they will be out of business! 700 bucks and its defective like you said the fan boys refuse to accept it I like Traxxas but a problem is a problem thank you for watching and the comment

I defended Traxxas to a point I love the rc's I have but I am honest I feel this one has problems so I share it if its not a concern than great all I do is share my experience and right now its not good. I have all the same cars lol I enjoy them a lot for the money the 4s Kraton is hard to beat is tough and damn fast too! The 6s Kraton is part plane its my favorite jumper it just goes so far so easily its a blast and the Typhon is insane on 6s I run it on 4s at the rc track and its amazing.
Wouldn't say its junk although the gyro is dead lol definitely not the best but esc is expensive to keep swapping out I have one in my XRT definitely stronger I can back flip it with the factory tires now.
You were very disrespectful in your conversation with Traxxas. I've always had great interactions with them on the phone. They are standoffish because so many of you come in heated. Calm down and talk to them like your local shops. They almost never charge me for electrons even out of warranty. When speaking to them you aren't speaking to management, those are real people who are tiered at being yelled at. Yes the Maxx Slash is overpriced. It should have came with fans and much more for that price. Thing is for me I liked it because I have so much room to mod it. But my hobby is making stuff, yours is driving RTRs...So year its overpriced and way out of balance for what it is and its marketing. This still doesn't give you the right to yell at basic employees for something they likely won't report on "just another guy yelled at me today, can't wait to get drunk and forget about them" Anyway, raise and stiffen you shocks, for your style. It's been done on RUclips I'm sure you've seen it. I don't care about the price. This kit is a good base to mod and make some pretty good looking cars and trucks. I just finished a drifter conversion and printed a whole new body. Tons of room for extra electronics and none of the functionality of whatever design you chose is lost. Enjoy the journey, RTR is a dream not reality.

I put the mini maxx springs on the front that took care of the rubbing problem!

10yrs ago it really wasn’t any different, loads of RTRs were available. Traxxas, HPI, Duratrax, Losi & others were all offering RTRs

I put the Traxxas #8967 springs in the front and back and I think it made the truck handle much better.

I haven't really had problems out of Traxxas except when my Sledge came out of the box with the antenna cut they didn't care part was backordered I had a usless brand new car. Pretty sad I went online ordered one so I could use my car. This time I put in a new receiver tsi works they still want me to send in all my equipment for testing. Its b.s. mail my equipment for testing be out the rc its a cheap part only has 30 day warranty its pathetic

Thank you I think its a faulty gyro its not responding at all every now and then it makes a wierd left turn I did notice on the app when I set the steering sensitivity the tsi made a wierd movement then went back like I got to see the glitch happen I have a new reciever in it I need to try
I think you’ll be so much happier if you went demaxx kit that and “monster slash” it. Basically put the next size tire up on it and cut those fenders. There videos showing how to monster stuff se the slash’s

As I’m laying her eating a Publix bakery almond bear claw and watching your video I noticed something that I thought I would tell you about. I think that your servo-saver or something connected to it is too loose… just an observation… I watch when you are going into a turn… it’ll be all smooth and then BOOM! The tires break loose in whatever direction you are turning in and the tires grip and you go tumble wumble 😬😬… just check it out. Might help

The TSI kicks in when you apply throttle , lift the truck hit the throttle and them move the truck , good luck
I know that thanks when you bind a remote it gets disabled something Traxxas was clueless about blinking light on the receiver its off steady green its on. When its blinking like mine was nothing turns it on.
is you receiver lights green,if is lighting red,that means that the tsm is off and you have to push the receiver button for about 5 seconds and then the light goes green,that enables tsm.when you switch many models with one remote,sometimes the receiver swithes tsm off for no reason.

You were mostly right the light is a flashing green its off steady green its on hold the button down for 2 seconds it turns red until you let go then its set. I did that and somehow this xmaxx servo doesnt like it at all just shakes and stuff its damn shame thats the 1 thing traxxas never asked.

It’s sucks when a truck is already over priced and you still have to purchase $150 worth of parts to get it right! But it’s honest guys like you that call out a big company that helps the rest of us, the consumer, make the decision to buy this truck or not! I’m not a Traxxas guy myself and I don’t hold it against anyone who is. As long as you’re having fun that’s all that matters! Just sucks they treated you like that! Frankly Horizon would send you a whole new TX/RX for your troubles. Maybe try putting a Spektrum radio and receiver in it to see if it still turns on it own. Thanks for the video! Thank you very much yeah I got called all kinds of names for mentioning this despite raving about my other Traxxas cars. Like you said you watch the video and make up your mind I just show it driving I was really expecting good things out of it I dont buy rc cars then smash them in big jumps for views. I keep it honest I swear people didnt watch this video just jumped on how rc cars flip and I cant drive wow watch the video did I improve overnight lol? Its driving better its what I expected out of the box anyone can see the tires moved way too easily usually you move the servo when you turn a wheel these were flopping around. Problem is way too many people just jump cars straight line stuff not many like me that actually drive them on the ground thats where it showed its flaw with the steering even rc guy garage said the trim was whacked and lazer rc said something everyone tells them ohh you can drive I know its the rc lol no pass for me ohh well I stand behind my work no objective here to promote one brand over another just honest opinion as to what I see and try to help people make a decision,

Most stuff I use can be found in my Amazon store here is the direct link to the heat sink with fan I have this on a couple of vehicles and so far so good it moves a lot of air and clips on no motor removal and I have tumbled the car never had it come off.

Strange that exocaged launched his like 30 and did a back flip and landed just fine? I bought one launched mine the same also practiced throttle control and I flipped 1 time in like idk 18 battery packs. Every rc car rolls bud. Try driving your pickup down the road at 75mph and crank the wheel you may be suprised.

I had one Traxxas, with gyro, I put the receiver in backwards, I took it spun it around and it worked. I'm not sure, it might be in there flopping around, if you have removed it and I'm not saying anything about you don't know what you're doing I'm just telling you what my self experienced, it also went along slower in reverse with it oriented incorrectly in the receiver box, just throwing that out there, I have no idea if it's been removed or not but just trying to offer you some direction on the gyro
I found the issue it will be coming up in a video I just filmed. A viewer pointed me in the right direction wrong info lol it got me looking the light blinks on the receiver tsi is off press the set button until it turns red then the light is steady tsi is on. The question is how does Traxxas not know this? They had me do all these resets then said mail both transmitter and receiver in at my cost

Garage life rc has a Veterans discount and they sell Corally and a bunch of parts. Traxxas for the most part makes some really nice durable cars. The customer service sucks I was about to get the new boat they released after having one guy tell me there was nothing wrong with the mutt it was too powerful and another telling me to mail in my stuff screw them I have something else coming. I am not a big company I do buy a lot of stuff and probably will end up buying again for the channel but it will be limited I though this was interesting enough I bought it. Traxxas will loose market share quick they keep rehashing the same crap with shiny parts and call it ultimate while never fixing any real issues. Kmart thought they were too big so did Sears people only stay loyal so long. The big rock is a blast I need to drive mine just been busy with all the new stuff. It can jump a little its a great street car or ripping through the dirt and grass its one I always recommend if the person is not into big air then I would say the Kraton would be the one. I actually like the factory tires being a bit slick it makes power sliding on the street possible also helps with traction roll overs its a fun rc for sure

If you bind to new transmitter it turns off tsm you have to turn back on through app

Your receiver also may need to be updated When I go into garage on app under tsm I can turn on and off
But in the end whenever you bind different transmitter to traxxas receiver if goes tsm off by default blinking red light on receiver and has to be turned back on.
I read to adjust steering trim TQI must be turned off

@@L2theWcarscoffeelife oh I don’t feel bad, I know traxxas sucks as a company they have some great “ platforms” I say platform because the electronics always suck, they have smaller companies that people like to call bad such as redcat outdoing them in the electrical comparntment, if you seen the new 1/5 they made it comes with a max 6 and it’s around the same price as the Maxx slash 😭. Traxxas customer support is also insanely bad for how popular they are compared to horizon support where they will fix or send you a new part for free within 2 weeks or take your feedback and actually listen to it
I never had a problem with anything Horizon hobby when the big rock had the glitch they sent me a esc never asked for the old one thats a lot of money traxxas wants my transmitter and receiver I pay to ship no way!! A viewer told me to check the light on the receiver he was right in a way it was blinking no tqi steady light tqi active how the hell they didnt know that no my problem is with tqi turned on the servo shakes like its having seizures makes no sense its the h.d. maxx servo it should work I was tempted to put the spektrum receiver in it but the box is too small go figure lol I appreciate the support

I dont have a Mojave at all I do have a Kraton 4s and its a great rc. Now I have this running good its fantastic the 6s power shows but its unfortunate Traxxas didnt do anything but drop all pressure from the front springs to hide how bad it drove. Seriously how hard would it be for them to redesign the servo saver so it would actually hold the wheels straight? Maybe just a new spring I dont know when you can turn the wheels and it doesnt even try to move the servo there is something wrong. It sucked out of the box with a servo and servo saver it rips. It still has issues with tires hitting something they should have found before release as well as the body just throws everything in the chassis like a trash can at least the Mojave has that insert in the body to shield everything and my Kraton has extended flares behind the wheels to keep dirt out and works very well

I e been out for a long time, I signed the dotted line at 18,did 4 on active, 7 in the reserves, honorable discharge from both. I'm bout 40 now, but I grew up fast, it was 2003 or 4 when I signed up. I'm glad I found a veteran channel to support. I'm trying to get a channel going but I got like one or two good videos, I got to get the gear, go pros and stuff, then I'll do build videos , from a pile of parts lol. I have a big rock 3s, I have a 130 amp ESC spectrum smart Firma ESC, 1900kv spectrum brushless motor, I use the one smart battery I have, on 3s , I've also put the Metal diff's in it , 4s shocks on it, anyway I can full trigger it and it'll just jump off the ground on 3s lol, I don't know what it'll do when I get a 4s battery, I gotta chill down the gearing in it, Metal pinion and spur is 55 tooth instead of 57 , that makes a big difference on the spur , just dropping a few teeth vs going up on the pinion, lol, but it's so cool to watch, it hwsca locker instead of a slipper, it'll literally, raise the front uo and the back tires just launch it into the air, i don't do i it much, lol. Man when I get me one then gps analyzer things I'll know more about the speeds it'll reach, I got belted tires, I just haven't put them on yet, gotta get some longer adapters, they are the proline belted trenchers with the interchangeable hexs on it, I got to get some longer ones. I also have a senton, it's pretty badass too , it's not built to the degree of the big rock, but it's got 120 amp Quicrun ESC and 3660 3200 Quicrun brushless motor, you can be on dry pavement and at half trigger it'll smoke the tires if you pull it open hehe, boy I love this hobby, I'm fairly new to it but I like to build them, that's as fun as driving. Going to get a granite roller today hopefully if it works out, then all I'll need is a vorteks lol, I guess I'm a arrma guy, but I'll drive anything, it's all fun, just mostly experience in building the arrma one's, has a two TRAXXAS and when I had em I liked them, a rustler and a slash, nothing to them but when I bought a box of parts they would make two almost complete 3s arrma rigs I was hooked, then I learned about Traxxas by them placing lawsuits on everyone, getting people RUclips channel shut down by some copyright vs or something, they got back but just doing it to be a ass because the damn channels were trying to make them look good and it's not justified. Thats how Traxxas tries to stay in business sue everyone. I like the cars I have but the Warranty is crap 30 days electronics that is it maybe if your lucky and a part breaks they might fix it where Horizon hobby has 2 years even Team Corally a much smaller company than Traxxas has 1 year. The hobby is fun and addicting the mutt max is faster it has more power I dont know how the Mojave jumps I saw a few videos it seems to be about the same as the mutt maxx they are ground trucks they do small jumps. The 4s Kraton and Outcast they will jump and love it the 6s Kraton wow the power to weight is outstanding I accidently cleared that big valley of concrete that drainage ditch with it I measured it once I think it was 40 ft!! 6s is bigger than 4s the smaller is fun more nimble and still fast every rc is a bit different thats why I have so dang many lol I am enjoying it from boats to planes cars trucks I am having a good time
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife I'm sticking by , the videos of the 4s Mojave was out doing the 6s Mojave From what I've seen and Earl Moorhead is a great mechanic on these and real size vehicles he usually pulls out them Traxxas systems and puts in max 5 or sixes or something, I saw I put the factory ESC back in just so he could have lights which I didn't understand that but he's very professional sure I say because I would have got one in light bars off valley Express and ran that joker to that fan connection on that ESC and kept fire from there ran to the receiver and got it I'm just not impressed with traxxas's power systems and like you say they're warranty 30 days pretty much let you know or it does me that they don't have much confidence in it yeah it might run like hell but I don't think it'll run like an arrma lmfao. All bullshit aside I'm glad you enjoyed the mutt Maxx I guess that's what you nicknamed it? @idan678 Horizon has won me with thier warranty any issues I have not had a problem getting parts. The gyro is dead in this contact them despite telling them this transmitter is bound to all my Traxxas cars they want the tuning crap done I do that now at my cost mail the transmitter and reciever to them for review its 40 bucks! Only for 30 days how many parts can you warranty in a pathetically short period to justify this? Probably cost them 10 bucks I swapped it out and the gyro works they keep acting like thier crap doesn't sink Arrma keeps pushing out better cars they will be out of business! 700 bucks and its defective like you said the fan boys refuse to accept it I like Traxxas but a problem is a problem thank you for watching and the comment

I defended Traxxas to a point I love the rc's I have but I am honest I feel this one has problems so I share it if its not a concern than great all I do is share my experience and right now its not good. I have all the same cars lol I enjoy them a lot for the money the 4s Kraton is hard to beat is tough and damn fast too! The 6s Kraton is part plane its my favorite jumper it just goes so far so easily its a blast and the Typhon is insane on 6s I run it on 4s at the rc track and its amazing.
You shouldn't have to sink any money into that car to make it drive as good as the competitions car when the competitions car is cheaper.

Wouldn't say its junk although the gyro is dead lol definitely not the best but esc is expensive to keep swapping out I have one in my XRT definitely stronger I can back flip it with the factory tires now.
You were very disrespectful in your conversation with Traxxas. I've always had great interactions with them on the phone. They are standoffish because so many of you come in heated. Calm down and talk to them like your local shops. They almost never charge me for electrons even out of warranty. When speaking to them you aren't speaking to management, those are real people who are tiered at being yelled at.
Yes the Maxx Slash is overpriced. It should have came with fans and much more for that price. Thing is for me I liked it because I have so much room to mod it. But my hobby is making stuff, yours is driving RTRs...So year its overpriced and way out of balance for what it is and its marketing. This still doesn't give you the right to yell at basic employees for something they likely won't report on "just another guy yelled at me today, can't wait to get drunk and forget about them"
Anyway, raise and stiffen you shocks, for your style. It's been done on RUclips I'm sure you've seen it. I don't care about the price. This kit is a good base to mod and make some pretty good looking cars and trucks. I just finished a drifter conversion and printed a whole new body. Tons of room for extra electronics and none of the functionality of whatever design you chose is lost.
