Hey Earl! Nice tutorial on tightening up all the diffs on that Maxx Slash rig! Is that material you added to the diffs like silicone ear plugs or not that stiff? 🤔😉👍📹💯✔️👋👋👋👋
Hey man how did this work out for you? I was thinking doing half 20 mill half 1 mill in the front and rear.... I took out whatever fluid was in center and literally packed it with 20 mill 🤷🏽♂️.... Curious how your setup did though
@earlmoorhead5555 hey man appreciate that for real... Doing a maxx slash no prep drag racing build /also be able to bash it with diff suspension setups... So appreciate that info
Earl, school me if I am wrong. I have always put just regular grease in my rear diffs and thicker in the front diff. With the thinking that it will send the power to the rear first. Am I wrong in this?🤔
If going take rear differential apart might as well put diff fluid in , grease probably works like 0 full diff action , I see companies do use grease but for light duty weight” small rcs . Use atleast 5k in rear and thicker in front
Dr. Diff strikes again! 🩺😂
You are a very brilliant man, Earl. I admire your Intelligence Quotient. “Wise men put their trust in ideas, and not in circumstances.”
After watching this thank God i bought a arrma. Love watching your videos most people would kill it dead with that DeWalt
Only video I could find actually shows how its done
Impressive attention to detail, patience, and persistence Mr. Moorhead, Thanks for the video.
Thank you for this video! I love seeing this stuff! And it’ll be pretty helpful soon.
Master mechanic through and through! Awesome video boss! 😎👍🔥
Thanks!
Appreciate your support 💯🙏
Love that red grease. It reminds me of raspberry donut filling. Doesn’t taste as good though…
Surgeon Moorhead is in the house 😂 my god that is quite a bit of work to get to the differentials.
I've heard RC Guy puts snake oil in his diffs
What do you do if a plastic screw hole gets stripped Earl, how Dow you fix it?

Not that stiff it’s traxxas 20 mill diff fluid and does get thinner after its runs

20mill rear in center and 1 mill in front as you’ll gain better steering 👍

No problem anytime
Holy moly Earl… that’s a ton of screws to get to your diffs… wow!
This is a job I haven't done on my Mini-Maxx and after watching you tear into it well now I'm really not looking forward to it. Thanks Eman

What is that red stuff? Is it specifically for the differentials?
Disc brake wheels bearing grease
@Nobz619 Reminds me of Wolf’s Head red grease part# 2928.
what are you runing in the front and rear diffs and center fuilds
Looks like whatever was in it from factory and 2 finger fulls of 20 mill for all 3...
😎💯💯💯
