ABOUT FUEL EFFICIENCY: Mahindra tune their petrol cars to perform like diesel cars thats why the xuv delivers its power around 4.5-5k rpm. Power delivery is bottom and mid range focused, hence he is getting under 6 l for 100kms. But for Indians that's not enough as we are obsessed with smaller 1l to 1.5l engines , we have huge traffic issues just like japan and korea so our fuel efficiency expectations are high. Similar to them we import fuel, so fuel prices are also relatively higher. For the same reasons , globally proven Honda crv and Mitsubishi outlander never worked in India.

As it is, even without all this top notch research, Mahindras have never had reliability issues.. The Willys licensed Jeeps which they started with were code named CJ500D and MM540DP only came with indirect injection old fashioned Diesel engines and were work horses with hundreds of thousands of miles under their belt.. we have Jeeps right from 1960s and 70s still running. And in the event they require any maintenance at all, they’re dirt cheap to repair as well..
These modern super computer loaded cars maybe slightly more costly to repair but still would be better than other competitors for sure.. Great and honest review bro.. ❤

    1) 14000 kms, no rattles , no squeeks vs korean cars at 2000 kms 2 rattles and squreks. This only speaks of quality. Rigorous & committed engineering.
    2) Active safety in this more useful and reliable than Tesla's autopilot system. This is because this is developed exclusively for terrible, most indisciplined indian traffic. Thats why it can be the best in the world.
We should welcome any brand irrespective of country of origin if they are serious on customer offering.
