I would definitely suggest The Grudge, Parabol/Parabola (really one song), Pneuma, Invincible, Descending, Culling Voices, 7empest (they won a grammy for this one), 46 & 2, and Third Eye.
Your video didn't show up on a search result "tool reaction" till now, so might want to be sure your keywords are set properly. Great reaction, hope you do some more Tool songs
The section that ends in "beauty in the dissonance" for me is about how conflict is not the problem in fact conflict can invigorate people, some call it passion. HOW you deal with conflict is the true measure. When one loses compassion and becomes obsessed with "winning" the conflict one creates a schism instead of a bridge.
If you wanna deep dive Tool and Tool lyrics try 46 and 2 and Lateralus…Lateralus uses the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio throughout the song and the former is about Jungian psychology and shadow work and such…..🌀out
Just an FYI - pronunciation is ski - zm (hard k sound) Love your attitude going in. Just so you know the video's can be distracting from the musical experience the first time through. You should experience it however you wish, but I recommend doing the official audio reaction to allow your own imagination to create the visuals. You can come back to the video later . Also the videos seem get struck more often.
@@deepdivederek Tool has a no recording policy at their concerts they will sometimes allow one song to record. Most of the live videos are very low quality. They really work to get the album version to show their vision I would go with official audio and just look up lyrics. Their live performance is out of this world. The being said their are a few really good videos out there. Here are a few: 1. Sober Live at the Redding festival 1993: ruclips.net/video/u7lweNCCwS0/видео.htmlsi=8fPjV_uI_96b9XtG 2. Danny Carey drum cam from 4 years ago by Vic Firth (drum sticks)" ruclips.net/video/FssULNGSZIA/видео.htmlsi=AUwD7dhj4er_OusY 3. Audio from the Salaval tour album synced with video from the concert. Third Eye : ruclips.net/video/A3X3Im2YoL8/видео.htmlsi=zAAMZPFT1JuXkOhB
Tool - The Grudge, or Tool - Vicarious would be good next songs... Usually it's best to stay away from tool music videos for a first listen, because they are very destracting, but you seem to have handled it pretty well. If you ever listen to Tool - Aenema, do NOT watch the video, since that song has lots of F-bombs, and the video is censored, so you miss half the song
You're going to enjoy this journey with TOOL tremendously. A journey that will last a lifetime.

Thanks!
dont forget lateralus
Enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the song, and I believe your analysis was spot on.
I take the visuals of Tool as metaphores made real, even if they are ugly/dark. Please check next either Vicarious or Jambi.
Tool has made the point many times that the visuals of the videos have nothing to do with the meaning of the songs
I highly recommend NOT watching any videos with Tool, ever. Not even official videos.

Thanks! This one just released due to some copyright claims! I've got more Tool on the list!

This is a great point!
Compassion means to suffer with (which is an act of love- which is to will the good of the other)
Great Reaction! Like and a sub for the tool ride!

Sounds fun... And above my pay grade!! 😆

Thanks! What are your thoughts on live versions versus studio or video?

Subscribed for more tool!
You got it. Any particular favorites or places I should start?
Just a quick FYI - you're audio's a bit fuzzy. I was hearing added crunch on the intro bassline that I normally don't hear.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll check it out.
Tool is not a jam band. When you see them live it's note for note like the studio version.
Thanks! I had some bad Intel! 😀
The two characters at first if you look closely one has no ears and the other's mouth is shut.
I didn't see that! Good one!
