@@tarahardy26 My sister is 51, and she runs from garlic. She can't get her hands dirty. She saw our mother and grandmothers cook. She knows your hands get dirty making meatloaf. She never makes meatloaf. She makes her husband make it. We had friends, and the wife wore plastic gloves to cook. This lady is a true chef. She loves food, and that's obvious. She makes everything with one special ingredient, you can't buy. Love.

Just tried this today. Turned out pretty good. I didn't have green onions so I added half a cup of Vidalia onion to it while it was cooking. 😊
My mom made a recipe with stew meat and onions and celery and beef broth and put it over white rice it was so great this recipe reminds me of that recipe .

Looks absolutely delicious, but I think I'll try this with some shorter noodles. It would be easier to eat.
@elsemorris906 , long noodles are fine. All I do is after noodles are boiled, I cut noodles to suit with a scissor. Works every time.
I was just recently told by my boss that we need to cut down on purchasing food from where I work, we feed 30 to 40 people daily and this looks perfect!! for a low cost dinner to make and I'm definitely going to give this a try for a dinner, Thank you Catherine!, I always enjoy your food creations...Thank you and God Bless :D!.

Well- we have a new recipe in our rotation! I likely won't do this every time- but I had a bunch of zucchini I needed to use up so I made zoodles and subbed them for some of the pasta. It worked great and would be a great way to hide some veggies if you need to! Thanks C!

As for the dish, I'm a bit dubious since you've added a soup bowl full of sugar. And hoisin has lots of sugar by itself. I would skip adding additional sugar and to make it more healthy maybe throw in some green beans, mushrooms and the missing onions or a something like a salad on the side.

But then it wouldn’t be Mongolian beef anymore. Her recipe may not be 100% authentic, but her ingredients are pretty close to what’s needed for Mongolian beef.
Omitting the sugar and adding additional vegetables would make it a beef-vegetable stir fry.
Looks yummy can’t wait to try. I think it would be great if you could add to your video suggestions of side dishes to survive with your featured dish.
