I absolutely Love your easy and budget friendly Recipes! I’m 72, and my husband is 74, and we grew up on Ramen Noodles in college!! Thanks so very much!❤😊😊😊
I admire you, Catherine, for being real. You like many of us, mispronounced a word, then learned the correct pronunciation. Rather than not us in that old video, you were comfortable with telling your audience what to expect. Hats off to you! This is one important reason why you’re a successful entrepreneur.
❤❤❤❤ I love all of these wonderful recipes so much deliciousness thank you so much for these wonderful wonderful recipes I am going to try them all❤❤❤❤
The chinese chicken salad with the cabbage mis is a huge favorite in my house. We have been eating this for years. We use a shortcut on the sauce by using Ken's asian dressing. Its low fat. Half the calories but so delicious you just cant tell.😊
My old supervisor brought ramen salad to a potluck and it was a hit! I don’t think she bothered to toast it with butter, so I think this recipe will be even better!
You are the first person ever to make something out of ramen that I would absolutely want to try. Most of the recipes to me are not very appetizing.. I am so impressed with that stroganoff recipe. Thank you so much for that one.
A small package of Sesame oil and chili oil were included inside Top Ramon years ago. It really ramped up the flavor. Also adding slice hard boiled eggs, chopped green onions and sometimes sautéed Bok Choy for toppings.
Years ago we made a salad called. Cabbage crunch salad. It had slivered almonds & toasted sesame seeds. We used chicken flavor & made a dressing out of packet with brown sugar, wine vinegar & oil.
This could be considered a new spin on food during the depression period. Finding what you could stretch and make a meal with inexpensive food stuffs!👍
When I use the Ramen noodles, even if I use the seasoning packet I don’t use all of it because that makes your dish too salty. But the packet of chicken flavoring is great when you are cooking green beans. I use canned green beans & drain all the water off & rinse in fresh water, then add fat back grease, that chicken packet, powered onion flavoring & fresh water of course & a little bit of sugar & cook for about & hour on med low. They taste like they came out of the garden.
Stir fry ramen with an egg on top and hot sauce has carried my broke self over the finish line numerous times over the last couple of decades 😅 Those flavor packets can be valuable for a prepping situation.
My grandmother often made Ramen Asian noodle salad without the chicken as a dinner side dish. She loved it and so do I. The beef and broccoli looks fantastic!
The stir fry Ramen I put minced ginger, oyster sauce sesame seed to garnish. All of the dishes looked delish, thanks for sharing. Got ahead myself the salad looks so good .. I must try !
Do I love your recipes?? Yes, let me count the ways!! Lol I can't wait to try these 3 recipes, especially the beef Stroganoff.these look absolutely delicious.🤤🤤
I tried the Beef and Broccoli Ramen. It came out fantastic. I did spice it up with some Thai chili’s. We like it spicy. Will have to try the fried rice Ramen, and will probably add some chicken chunks lightly floured and cooked on the side then stirred in. Great video! Thanks for sharing. We have some new meals now.
All the comments show how much you add to the food world. Mom used to make the chicken and cabbage dish. Lost the recipe. Thx. You are obviously loved and now I see why ❤❤❤
WOW CATHRINE GOD SURE HAS GIFTED YOU WE ARE BLESSED INDEED I HAVE FORGOTTEN HOW MANY OF YOUR DISHES AND TREATS I HAVE MADE MY SISTER HAS A BIRTHDAY COMING I AM THINKING ABOUT GIVING HER SOME OF YOUR COOKBOOKS
Those 4 recipes are sooooo good 😊❤ ! It's your love you share with us ! I love to eat and cook , these are such a great 👍 twist with the Ramen ! Thanks for sharing 😊🎉 Your Friend Johnny
I remember watching these videos and I really liked all of them Catherine! 😍 I like to use ramen when making lomien and I've made the beef and broccoli with ramen before.😋 I haven't tried ramen when making beef stroganoff though. 🤔 I think it would be great and cook so much faster! 😘 Sometimes I'll get the teriyaki flavored ramen package and add beef and some veggies. I'll make a whole meal of it and it tastes so good! ☺️ I've even gotten the spicy teriyaki package and it's very hot. So I'll mix it with a regular teriyaki package and the heat is just right! 👍 I always have ramen on hand and I love using it! It's so cheap and convenient for making a good quick meal! I love this trip down memory lane that also gave us a reminder of how great ramen is! 🍜 Thanks for sharing another great medley of recipes! 🥰
OMG Catherine. I tried the stir fry tonight & it is amazing. I did use bacon grease with butter to Sautee onion & vegies for added flavor. I think this will become one of our all time favorites. Thank you
Good Afternoon Catherine! Thanks so much. All these recipes look delicious. I am going to try the beef with broccoli first. Thank you🙏🏼for the recipe Eric!! I bet substituting a pound of shrimp or chicken for the beef would be awesome also! 🙏🏼
I'm gonna try three out of the four I can't eat the crunchy ramen salad because of dental issues but it looks yummy making my tummy growl and it's late lol that's what I get for watching such amazing recipes. I hope y'all have a great day
I usually save the seasoning packets to use making soup...heat up some water in a mug, add the seasoning, a couple tbsps of Soy sauce and I like to sprinkle a little Cavender's Greek Spice mix, mix it up & it tastes really good... you can also make a side dish of of potatoes, or mix in some Italian Breadcrumbs and whatever your liking should be....give it a shot! And deon't be afraid to experiment...
I have always called it Raymon noodles. I have been told many times it's Rah-men. I say, say it your way, I'll say it mine. Glad someone else used my version. Love your recipes. Have a blessed weekend.
Here is a recipe I really enjoy & maybe others will too. For more of a soupy dish, I fill a saucepan with enough water for 2-3 pkgs of ramon. Add some chicken or beef bouillon. Set it to boil. While waiting, cut 1/2 onion into half moons, or just chop it. I love to add 1 whole green bell pepper for flavor, cut it into strips, or chop, your preference. I add some fresh tomato, so either chop up 2-3 Romas, or add some chopped tomatoes from a can. I love garlic so while the water is coming up to a boil, I usually add onion powder, granulated garlic, and some parsley, along with salt & pepper. Also, depending on if I want a Mexican flavor, an Italian flavor, or whatever cuisine you're craving, I'll add those spices, instead. Once boiling & veg are almost done, break up your ramon and add to the pot and cook until desired tenderness is reached, or the 4 minutes on the pkg. Hope you enjoy it!! I know I will enjoy these 3 recipes of Catherine's, as all her recipes are so good. ❤ Forgot. You can add chicken, beef or pork, even fish to this dish. Just make sure you have enough water. If you have to add more water, be sure it boiling and adjust the bullion. I sometimes even use the pkts. Ramon is so versatile.
I am going to make your ramen noodle beef stroganoff today. The only thing i will add is a few frozen peas. For some reason I like peas in my stroganoff. 🤔 Thanks for the recipe Catherine. You are awesome. 😘
I make the asian salad. It is so good. People freak out when they see me put the ramen in raw. But im sure you know how good the left overs taste the next day when the ramen softens from being in the salad in the frig. I see that you use Kens dressing in things. Try the light asian dressing in this. It is so good. Thats what we use for it now. Thank you so much for all your wonderful recipes. I have MS and you have made my life so much easier with alot of your recipes.❤😊
You are amazing w your easy one-pot recipes! I want to make everything! Harest decision is what to make first😂😊👍Thank you for bringing us into your kitchen❤
I make a very simple quick meal, ready in about 5 minutes. Could add in anything you like. My picky daughter LOVES this. Perfect on school nights, or when in a hurry.

Thank you!! I never toss those packets. I save them for soup or rice!!
Or could have used them packets instead of beef broth.
It's a sin in prison to throw em sauce packets away...js
Throw some in KD it's pretty good.
when I make ramen just as ramen, I usually drain out most of the water, use about 1/3-1/2 packet and throw in a slice of cheese
I do the same but I add ham 😋@@Laceyanna1
My old supervisor brought ramen salad to a potluck and it was a hit! I don’t think she bothered to toast it with butter, so I think this recipe will be even better!

Oh I never knew that about Ramen! Those 2 items would def. make the Ramen better for sure!
I remember that! It was around the same time color TV's were invented it was so futuristic. 😂 Kidding but yes I remember.
I know I miss the chicken sesame ..I know I can make my own now but just the nostalgia lol
Yes
You don't need salt..the soy sauce is salty enough .
I save the little flavor packets for other dishes if I don’t use them with the original dish.
Yes lawwd ha' mercy!🙋
Gotta save those season packets, that's the truth!
Yes!!!!e too, great added to any broth
Yes! They make great flavorings on popcorn ! 😊
YES! They are also great as a hot drink to sip on.
