That sounds like an amazing build! I have a 07 4.0 v6 automatic mustang; would a gt500 swap work? What main parts would go into it? What donor car did you use for your 06 v6?
@@elias0kay yes for sure. I bought a swap kit from Midway Mustang Parts in Dewitt, Iowa which is basically a pallet with engine, trans, ecu, wiring harnesses (engine, dash, body), brake booster, steering column with smark junction box, pedal assemblies, driveshaft, fuel tank with pumps, and the rest of the parts I am forgetting. Need to buy the GT500 radiator unless it survived the crash- its thicker than the v6 and GT. Need an 8.8 rear end from any GT or GT500. But it's a direct drop in onto the K member- no need for custom motor mounts or anything because all the K members are the same V6 GT GT500, although I would replace the rubber motor mount things that sit on the K member that the engines weight sits on. Can drop in from the top, tight squeeze but it fits through. Shifter for the TR6060 goes through same center console hole- chassis is same no matter engine or auto/manual. Feel free to shoot me a message on Instagram if you want to know more or want some pictures of the process @just_a_stock_v6
Wow I so wanted to do this. How much would something like this cost to do ? I wish they offered a kit that had everything needed to do this. Awesome job
This has been attempted several times by numerous people over the last decade and it has failed every time. Cooling is a major issue with this setup, as well as properly tuning it. Everyone I've seen has barely made 400whp and went kaboom. AMR is currently working on a setup for this. It's cool to see people trying it, and it would be a miracle if this thing makes anything over 400 hp and actually lasts more than a week or two.
So far I have had no heat issues and it’s ran like a dream, given I’m running only 8 pounds or so and I’ve been daily diving it since August. So to be determined on if a piston leaves the chat
AMR and I know I’m not the first to be running cuz I bought a few parts off my buddy who was running 12-14 pounds with there water to air inter. But he’s going with a turbo set up and his motor is still thriving.
He has 2 cooling kits and smaller pulleys mean more boost with less heat I was going to purchase the second kit made but cooling want finished and he was charging 1500 for cooling alone when done so I passed but it's really nice great car
No, this setup has never worked on a 3.7 before numerous people have attempted it. Even the company morana who sells the adapter kits could never get their own car running properly with it. Better off getting a turbo or procharger setup
You do what ever your heart desires! I’m running 8 lbs and it’s running strong for past two months! And I daily drive it. So it’s truly up to you on what boosted Application you would like to run!
If your motor doesn't have 100k miles on it and you're looking for the whine and more power, go for it! It has been a blast being along side Roddy with this build and we are just scratching the surface! I just wouldn't recommend running 14+ psi on stock internals as it will most likely blow up lol. Build the motor and your v6 could be a 600+ hp beast.
This guy is terrible at following instructions from his dad. His dad says turn the key on and off on and off and he just turns it on. Then his dad says hold it at 1500 to 2000 and what does he do just revs it
It’s about time it’s starts

What is that exhaust set up it sounds heavenly
I got an exhaust video with explanation and me showing what the set up is, but since then I have long tube headers so I will update here soon!
Wth a GT500 supercharger on a V6 lol, I never knew you could do this, wow
Ye but the risk to break the motor is big. But ngl this is incredible
@@carlosmarrero8389 Not really... As long as it's installed and tuned right. The 3.7 has forged internals.
If you need help or have questions about the kit I’m glad to help out 👍

So Tom Morana does carry a kit for this you just need a m122 supercharger and a tune!
You think this would fit on a ford 3.5?
You could but the lower manifolds are slightly different so u have to make adapters
Did u just get the kit from the website or no
Yes! So you have to call to put in order
First start wahoo!
Bro where can i find that spoiler ?????
It’s a 2018 mustang spoiler
My question: why hasn’t some company designed a V6 version of this supercharger? I think they would have a huge customer base
Selling my stuff for cheap to cause it’s just taking up space and I’m changing to turbo setup
Check your dms and you going auto mafia kit??
Your selling your kit?
Interested please reach out to me
What did it cost you to install the m122 and was it worth it
