Might be a ported version of the new Gen 6 3.0L Whipple with dual throttle bodies/intakes similar to the stock 2024 Mustang setup.
Whipple has had some QC teething issues with the Gen 6 release (rotors not clocked correctly and out of phase). And popularity for Whipple is all time high.
Makes sense to pair up with a retailer specializing in superchargers on the east coast.

funny Justin blocked me on facebook years ago. I posted a picture on the TVS/Whipple page of my new whipple on my 18 GT. Never had any interaction with him. They use to always go back and forth fighting over which blower was best. I am blocked but I am a VMP dealer lol.

I've always been confused on the relationship VMP has with other blower companies. What is the difference with a Whipple blower with a VMP badge on it? Cheaper materials for a discounted cost? could you clear that up at all?
Whipple head unit, so rotor package. VMP will design their own other things like snout and inlet neck and intercooler brick design/placement.

What happened to the first supercharger you showed off with the dual throttle bodies keeping that true S650 look. All this goes to show you is a simple copy and paste. And your video three months ago you stated the dual throttlebody is what makes it a 24 a 24.

We need more affordable turbo options..... Not superchargers.
Turbo is a hole nother ball game. You can go cheap with the cheapest kit from hellion. Or go balls to the wall with them also.

WHAT?? For us old school guys that are still running gen2r's from 7-8yrs ago.. This is sad news.. y'all were direct competitors and had the better option for the every day driver and part time race enthusiast... Nothing beats the low down snot that a small tvs gives for real street driven cars... Nothing hits like a 2300 tvs in the coyote IMO.. I just remember you guys taking digs (shitting on) whipple years ago, and to see y'all sell out and dump tvs for a whipple with your name on the lid is sad..
I have to admit that I am totally lost. Why would you team up with Whipple just to produce a supercharger that really is no faster than the genR. 2.65-3.0. maybe I am missing something. Now I would understand if you were doing the 3.8 Whipple because it was faster than the Gen3R-SS . ?

Not really. I run a VMP supercharger and have dragged many Whipple's asses. The only Whipple that got me was a 3.8

No. From what read on Facebook all vmp blowers going foward will be whipple supplied.
Unless they put a whipple rotor pack in the Odin but I doubt that

I’d absolutely die to see VMP, Whipple or Eaton come out with a “Kit” for every old school roots ‘71 series blower owner to convert to a TVS, or screw rotor system in their existing case!
Whipple went and made the W510R that’s a screw version of a ‘71 series roots, but who wants to scrap their $4,500 plus roots they already own to buy a $6,800 new blower..? NO ONE!
Why can’t a TVS rotor pack be manufactured, and a “shoe” for the top if needed and an insert for a delta on the bottom…
Need to make roots blowers great again!

There’s probably 8 times the amount of roots blowers out there than there are people with “new style” roots and screws…
Because demand or rather lack there of. Plus the cost to design it would make it almost as expensive as getting a whole new blower.

Look into Harrop out of Australia. They're not cheap but they do this exact thing.

Still skeptical with this partnership (no different than you and Magnuson) but unlike Magnuson, you brought the TVS to the aftermarket Ford market; unfortunately, Whipple has always been here... So, is there even a market for VMP in the TS 'Whipple' side of things? I feel if you wanted to get into the TS world, I would have like to see a 'revamping' of Kenne Bell superchargers. With your enthusiasm, knowledge and engineering background, I am sure you could have come out with an incredible unit utilizing the intercoolers on top to combat Whipple. Again, combat. We need more choices, Justin! Furthermore, Kenne Bell is still a well-known name in the aftermarket industry, even though their cooling setups aren't on par with today -and I am sure some will disagree. But, nonetheless, offering another Twin-Screw s/c to the community would have been a lot nicer than just jumping onto the bandwagon and making a new 'lid' and calling it a VMP. At least with Kenne Bell you could expanded your true visions and tied in with a name to a company which has been around for decades.

I would have bought an Odin hands down had I been able to find a shop in Ontario that would have done it without all the markup however had to go with Roush Phase 2 cause Ford could do it for me. Congrats on your partnership!

Hopefully vmp can fix the whipple gen 5 3.0 defects.....ordered mine for my 19 challenger hellcat redeye and waiting over 6 months with no ETA....so canceled and was hit with a $700 cancelation fee....so put vehicle back together and trying to find a different route to go since now have a bad taste for whipple 😮

Whipple has been the hands down best in the game since the early 90's.
Best positive disposcemt s/c out there and rivals turbos on an efficiency map.

@@utahcountypicazospage5412 no. None of the centrifugal are close. They tend to be in the 70-72% efficiency range (on a compressor map)
The Whipple (lysholm twin-screw supercharger) is the only s/c that matches a turbo in the 79-82% mark on a compressor map.
Don't confuse it with the roots style s/c that may externally apparat similar (take edelbrocks kit). Those operate differently and the efficiency is garbage. 65% at best.
The Whipple is just a brilaknt supercharger design. Not to mention simple to install. I've pulled and out back on dozens on my cars.
Doesn't mean it's better than a turbo. No lag - but the turbo will make more power net, just because it's not belt driven and no parasitic losses. Yet for heat and power made compressor vs compressor the same.
Personally - unless you are trying it set some huge record or time. Just get a Whipple - installs in a few hours and call it a day. Turbo kits are always a nightmare - unless it comes from the factory with one l you're upgrading.
3.0 wjipple on say a mustang gt / s550 tuned will make 900rwhp all day - air fuel in a safe range. It takes the place of the upper intake. It's capable of 1400hp or 30psi with bigger heads or on another platform.

@@RadDadisRad are you referring to the original TVS 3100 testing from 2-3 years back, or the X3100, 2nd revision of the 3.1L rotor pack thats been teased since SEMA 2022 but haven't heard squat about since?
@@edmundnlemadim both, no benefits were seen by Magnuson.
@@BC08 they used a supercharger dyno. When comparing the 2650 rotor pack to the 3100 they saw no advantage because the extra horsepower that the 3100 made it used to drive the larger rotors. So more strain on the crank snout for no measurable gain in performance.

Justin, I bought your Gen3R appx 3 years ago for my Gen1 Coyote & love it! ... My 2014 Shelby is still running OEM Supercharger (don't plan to change that one)... However, our 2019 Gen3 Coyote is just coming outta warranty, so we are planning to buy a Supercharger kit later this year... Will this new combo company Supercharger be available for our 2019 vs the ODIN & if so, what will it be called??

Did you get a chance to ask them why their warranty is ONLY 1 year compared to others like Magnuson with a 3 year, etc??!! Whipple has not been doing a job lately on quality with lots of issues - just do a simple Google search and read ALL the forums! I'm not bashing, I'm actually very upset! I was 100% set on going Gen 6 Whipple 3.0 on my 2021 Durango RT, Tow N Go painted in red!!! Now I'm going Magnuson. But I have about 12 months till my install so if Whipple can change some things including a 3 year warranty I'll be the first one in line to buy one unequivocally!!!! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Wishing VMP great luck, they've partnered with Whipple to bring product to their fan base and customers as well. They didn't decide to bury their head in the sand and pretend like Ford access means nothing, by the time Whipple brings kits to market, other companies are like 3 years too late. Now get some Gen 2 CARB kits approved, still waiting. Hope you guys are also working on those.
