Great video assessment and presentation! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Based on it, I started a "hunt" for a Canik METE. Indeed, Canik developed a new platform with the METE SFT and SFX. I bought me the SFT. I am amazed that the METE trigger is an improvement over the great TP9 trigger. It is exceptionally good. I am happy with my SFT. No complains from me, except praises! I may get me the SFX too.
Nice, Canik has really improved these guns since they were first introduced to the civilian market. I’m a big Walther fan so I might grab one of these since it’s based off the Walther design and it’s cheaper with similar performance
I think that this is the best overall performance I have seen from both of you at the range with any recent pistol. To be fair I think that had the wind not have been a factor you both would have done even better. I love the trigger that Canik has used since the release of the Elite series. Personally, I feel it is the best out of box striker fired trigger of any current production pistol that is not a custom tuned for competition firearm. Thanks for sharing and I think that is a keeper for both of you, great shooting.

I have this gun in the Green Bomber color. I also put on +5 magazine extensions from Wasatch Arms. I also put on the Freedomsmith short stroke trigger. Now it's a badass

Great canik shooting. Amazing gun with large capacity mag. Very good with different types and brand of ammo. I like the mete sft, but not mete with suppressors after I’ve watched “mrgunsngear channel” youtube video. But still a great shooter 9mm sft. Sept.8: I’ve watch “Top Shot Dustin,” mete sfx fires great with a suppressor. Well, maybe it depends on quality of suppressor being used and ammo. But Canik mete is still a great pistol. I’m so impressed. 👍

This has to be a very good gun because I have to say it's the best that I've saw you both shoot and I have seen a good amount of guns on your channel. Good content as always. How do you compare this to a VP9?
I traded my VP9 in on a TP9 SFX. Sold that to get a Canik Elite Combat. I also have a Walther PDP. Both the Walther PDP and the Canik Elite Combat are better than the VP9 in my opinion. I know my opinion may not matter but.......
I think it was due to being the V1. I had several failure to feed and ejects with the VP9. The Walther ate every single round. Just my experience. I loved the ergos of it. And the LS looks badass. I'm by no means saying it's a bad gun. Don't get me wrong. Just my opinion. Nothing more.
@@jasonnuttle7426 failure feed was maybe due to the recoil spring, I know they changed it later on to the Vp40. It's a solid gun and the Longslide is stupid accurate, it's like cheating.

The what's for dinner segment is excellent (2nd vid of yours I've watched after the tabletop) and I really like the variety you used. I just bought 300 rounds of Winchester steel cased 9mm and while I'm not the biggest fan of steel it's still better than make believe ammo. A gun should be able to run anything of decent quality imo. I also like the different perspective from Tia (?) and I was rooting for her to flip the target, she's a good shot, subbed!!!

+professional note I really enjoyed the "whats for dinner?" exorcise; I've recently purchased a METE SFT. This portion of the video provided a lot of insight on Canik and the improved SFT model. Personally it sparked alot of ideas for me as well. Having a PCC and handguns too I would like for all my property to run the same kind of ammo (for sport shooting its just easier to buy in bulk.) And being new to weapons collecting these are factors I may want to take into consideration. Working on finding what ammunition has a good balance in: cycling through the firearm, capable of providing proper defense/stopping power I want , and also with it being compatible alongside my current skill level to intelligently and accurately handle what I'm shooting.
Thank you, yes I've been a fan of them since the beginning. I don't think there's enough there for a video, but can say that in general the better you can grip a gun there's flip and longer the slide the less flip.
I think those reports are ridiculous. The early (like years ago) Caniks were sprung for NATO-pressure ammunition and so would sometimes struggle in the hands of unskilled shooters or when fed weak ammunition. Canik has since changed the springs to make them more American ammo/novice friendly.
Is it a difference compared to the canik tp9sf elite Vs. the METE SFT? In reference to grip? I have small hands and can't get a really high grip on the TP9SFX.

Very much a Walther Clone! I have 3 and they shoot as well or better than Guns I own that were 200-300 higher in price.

The SFT feels more like a duty gun, the SFX like a competition/range flex gun. They're very similar.

I have the Canik Mete SFT w/ the Mecanik M01 and I love it! I honestly believe that this gun makes me a better shooter.

This is closer to a Walther which I consider a step above the VP9

It depends on the holster design, but generally yes they fit. We've also used Walther SF holsters

We showed the differences in the tabletop videos, but the grip diameter is the same.
