This is the best put together gun comparison I’ve seen so far on RUclips. Straight, to the point, great graphics, fantastic B-roll. It was really cool to see your different ways to grip the guns too. You need to do this with all the brands!
Great video gentlemen, I’ve shot many guns over the years since I was 9, now 28. I must say canik has really impressed me. First one I held/saw in person was the limited mete Miami days/nights run they did. Thought they felt pretty good in the hand compared to most others on the market today. Then I heard about the TTI combat and decided to pick it up (luckily at Msrp) from my local dealer. After 400+ rnds of standard 115gr. Fmj at the range (only 1 light primer strike) and getting a feel for how it shoots, it has now become my EDC. The return to zero between each shot is great and really allows you to get after it if you need to put multiple shots on target in a short amount of time. Not to mention the smooth take up, trigger pull weight, crisp break, 1.3mm reset travel, grip stippling, grip ergonomics, etc. Canik and Taran tactical are doing great things and bringing awesome tools to the market.
@@dylanpage4106 I had some FTRTB. Got the heavier spring and no problems now. I'm going to put the original spring in and see if the problem comes back.
@@jowpopper790 ok im hearing some saying that’s related to grip and some saying they have no issues at all I want to buy one but im curious how prominent these issues are
Canik was discovered by accident 3 years ago. Son graduated from high school, he picked out the Mete SFx, thought it would suck, didn't suck even a little bit. I've bought the TP9 SFx, also doesn't such at all in any way. I can't keep up with these Turks so I'm still shooting those two along with my other random eclectic collection of pistols that I all like for different reasons.
Caniks surprised a lot of people. They make great guns. Turks must be doing something right. Stieger STR9 is amazing, CANIKS are amazing and SAR9 is solid for sure. All Turks...
I'm a big Canik fan and this was my first time watching, and I did love all of the comparisons to the other guns that I might get in the future. Keep up the good work you got a new subscriber 👍🏽. Canik SC😊
For uspsa and idpa, either rival is great, just remove magwell and good to go for ssp. The TTi puts you in open for uspsa with the comp. I've been hearing a few issues on the TTIs lately. Great Bang for the buck with arguably the best striker trigger stock out there. Nice work, boys! Thank you!
Great job guys. I love my Caniks, but my Crown Jewel is my Rival-S. As I was watching your video, I was pulling the triggers on my Mete SF and Rival-S. I put a Rival flat faced trigger shoe on the Mete which cleaned up the creep and while they are very close, the Rival-S trigger is a snatch lighter and cleaner. At least to me.😊
Outstanding Video to say First. I just discovered your channel, am a pistol & rifle owner, as well as a shooter at my local range. Have been looking at all the Caniks you just reviewed because I am looking at purchasing one soon, but only at a good price. I want to Thank You Guys so much for explaining everything to me in a clear and precise manner. I have been looking primarily at the SFT and SFX, but recently been looking at the whooping expensive (for me anyway) TTI Combat. I think I have made my decision now, and this video made my mind up.
Good video. I have some of these or a variation of them. My very first was the Canik TP9 SF Elite One. I didn’t know what I was buying but, boy oh boy am I hooked now!
you can't go wrong but definitely find a model that fits your hand. I Love my Rival-S but I have to use the medium replaceable grips. My hands aren't small but this is a big gun. Don't worry about the weight, I overcame the weight easily.
I have been told by some not to touch the Canik. Everyone saying buy the CZ Shadow 2. Just bought the Canik SFT Pro. Want a pistol that I can carry everyday. Yet throw on a compensator and optic over the weekend and shoot competition. May need to add a bit of weight on the grip for balance if I add the front compensator, but will check when I get it. It isn’t about price for me. I can afford any of them. I just wanted a daily carrier and the other pistols feel too large to carry comfortably everyday. I did consider the SFX Pro, but once you have the compensator on it, with the longer barrel and slide the additional front weight will challenge the balance of the pistol, I think. Anyway, your review is great and it was helpful in my decision. SFT Pro might not give me the same competition performance (yet to test that theory), but it gives me the everyday carry option which is important to me. And it faired around the #3 mark for all of you, when compared to dedicated range pistols, that isn’t bad at all.
I have a METE SFT. I added a threaded barrel, Freedom Arms trigger and Springco recoil rod and spring kit. I have a 45 blast compensator on the way. If the TTI had been available I would have bought, but instead I built one!
Bought a slightly used Canik SFX Rival for $500 with all box candy and was shocked at how good it really is. I’d have to spend over $2k I think to get something that shoots as well.
I’ve been a big fan of Canik for a couple years. They make a fantastic firearm for great prices. I had a Rival and want to add a Rival S to my collection. I have 3 of the 4 signature series ones.
Love the comments about the keyboard warriors. I’ve had to put up with the same garbage. I have a tp9sfx. I picked it up back before the meta and Rival came out. Back then i got mine from $325. I wished I had gotten 2 or 3 of them.

Observation: The TTI Combat magazine capacity is 18 and 21. The 21 rounds was a Taran request, making it 21+1.

Do some 10 yard accuracy tests between all and study each target after.
Great suggestion. Will try and get this for the future.

Finally what I’ve been looking for
Glad to help
Bought a used SFX Rivel last month and so far I like it a lot. I'm not a big fan of Turkey, so any Canik firearms I buy will always be used.
How can you not have the pistol that put Canik on the map ?

I wonder when some US law enforcement and military government will start carrying a Canik 🤔
I believe the Turkish army uses the canik sf elite.
First video I've seen someone else use index finger on trigger guard, I thought I was all alone! haha
Nope lol. Hes done that for a long time. Whatever works best for the individual right? Bet over time we see more of it.
These have got to be some of the strangest grips I’ve ever seen anyone use on a gun
Yeah no proper grips here.
They may seem strange but until you try them you won't understand how nice they are. Initially thought the same, but they work great.

Which one muzzles and recoil less?
Can you do a review on the ammo? That brand is local to me but I don't know much about it.
is the TP9DA optics ready? i thought you cant put a dot on it because of the decocker?
Correction the tp9da is not optic ready, guys.
Ive got colts fn a fwe moor canik rules best trigger in the business.
100%
Nice video but I noticed something right from the start. All 3 guys do not know how to hold a handgun properly!
Shots fired?
Try a disruptive defense compensator on the sft pro and tell me it doesn't become 10-20% better than the tti

Too bad the TP9DA’s trigger is so misunderstood…
And also what I’m missing in this grading is the mission specific requirements.
Nicely done

never seen anyone shoot with index finger on the support hand riding on the trigger guard. why for

It's a simple process. From the 1st to the most recent Canik. They are all too thick, too heavy and too bulky. A good good trigger is not enough!
Wouldn't it depend on the size of your hand? It might feel too thick to you but not to others. It's a personal feeling per individual.
Let’s get shootin!! 😂😂
i paid 810$ for my tti at academy
That's a great deal!!!!
