I've been a firearms instructor for 24 years. LE for 27 years. Shot every stricker fired platform on the market. My favorite are all 8 of my Caniks. I shot my TTI combat for the first time today. Shot 200 rounds and had only 2 out of battery issues. I remembered this video and what Adam said about the comp guns have issues when someone has a weak grip. I purposely focused on a strong grip. I shot another 100 rounds with zero issues. Awesome gun. Great video.
2 misfires outta 200 rounds is not good. As a matter of fact it’s terrible. I love the gun. Thinking about buying one. I like to say that I appreciate Canik stepping up to the plate. A lot of manufacturers don’t. Hear me Smith and Wesson
"Shot 200 rounds and had only 2 out of battery issues.." LMAO, If I were Taran and had my name on a weapon that the manufacturer was charging a premium price on weapon I'd be a pissed off Mike Foxtrot!
Fired two of them (sequential ssn), back to back. One fails to go into battery intermittently, while the other works fine. Same shooter, same ammo, same grip, same magazines - totally identical variables. Every other Canik I have used works fine. Other comped pistols fire fine. I'm gonna call out them on this. There may be cases of weak grip, but I don't think that is the problem here. Don't pass the blame onto the users - there is something wrong with some of them...
yep! i'm one of those good shooters waiting for a replacement man ran a shadow 2 compact earlier, zero issues (except i forgot to bring a flathead for the back iron sight to adjust vertical lol)
I have a TTI Combat since 24 June when it was released in Switzerland. We got only the standard mag with 18 rounds. So far I have shot around 600 rounds of S&B 124gr and used the standard 18 round mag and the 20 round mag (18+2). No issues or malfunction so far. Looking through the comments here, it might be a mag issue (21 rounds).
hat deine Waffe in der zwischenzeit irgendwelche mängel aufgewiesen ?, möchte mir auch die gleiche kaufen doch gibt einige videos die sagen das sie einige mängel hat.
just got my high performance spring. Canik was very easy to deal with. was looking to edc this. personally didnt have any return to battery issues until about 1500 rounds and using 124 gr hollow points. put 1k rounds thru her with 124 gr fmj and worked perfectly. Have put about 100 rounds through the hp spring with no flaws
Everyone was praising this gun when it came out. Saw a video where a guy shot everything from 92gr comp rounds all the way to 147gr on the same spring with no issues, and right out of the box. I shot 1 round before having an issue on 124gr with the extended base pad mag. Shot 124 out of the standard mag no problem, shot 115 out of both mags no problem. But definitely having an out of battery issue for some reason on the 124gr extended mag. Took it to my local shop and there was some machining required with the mag, i forgot what they said but something was holding up the mag spring. Its just wierd it did it only for the 124 and worked fine with 115. Going to test it out again this weekend.
I took out the firing pin and there is damage. Contacted Canik, they are sending me a new firing pin and a new spring they manufactured for this issue. I highly suggest that you check firing pin not just get a new spring. Parts will be in Tuesday hopefully this fixes the issue. I only put 50 rounds through the TTI Combat it shouldn’t have damaged the firing pin.
Bought two of these. Both bad. Chronic FTRTB. Used 5 different ammos, two different recoil springs. Both sent back to Canik. No grip issue. I’ve been shooting pistols for over 50 years. No problem with my other Caniks, Glocks, Staccatos, etc. He’s lying when he says first 8-10 users. Then 4-5 users have had problems. It’s hundreds just based on social media alone. I hope they figure out a solution. Pisses me off that they blame their customers.
Pisses me off as well seeing as I'm still waiting on a REPLACEMENT after being sent back a repaired one that was supposedly test fired and still ran like a broken airsoft gun. There are literal videos all about this gun and its malfunctions, I would make one myself but many many people beat me to it.
@@thomaswolf6507 I am glad I read your comment (and all the other users comments for the matter). I am based in Switzerland. Today I went to shoot it for the first time after I have been waiting for it for months and it was a total disaster. First failure with a Canik (I think I own about 8-10 of them, I lost the count). I will try to speak with the dealer if he can do something about it, I assume it comes with a warranty.
Sent mine back as soon as I got it for all the issues. The gunsmith at Century Arms changed the recoil spring, striker, and something listed as JF. The new spring was much stronger than the original. Enough you could tell just racking it. I haven't had a problem since.
i wish that was my experience sent one in for my stepdad, it came back with less issues but still a lot of issues waiting on replacement, waited far too long
Had exactly same issue with added fun of dented bullets causing jams. Sent it in and they also polished my feed ramp in addition to the new springs, striker etc. Had an instructor shoot it to see if it was my grip. He had the same failures. These guys in the video are full of BS.
I have a disruptive defense comp on my Mete SF and that gun runs flawless. The port on the DD is alot larger than the TTI too. I use the stock mete recoil spring zero issues.
I have a TTI combat and the RTB issues are 100% too tight of an extraction spring. Cut 1 1/2 coil from it and now mine runs flawlessly. Before doing this I couldn’t even get through a magazine no matter the brand or grain without a RTB failure.
Bought my TTI today from the range. Shot 12 different pistols 200 rounds of Midwest 115gr through them at the indoor range with no malfunctions. Opened up the TTI as my last shoot of the day and had 10 malfunctions out of 15 rounds. :( There is clearly a problem or at minimum a break in period as it appears a massive amount of people are all having problems.
What hurts the most besides being without $1,100+ bucks is they blame customers when I am a lifetime dead shot and have a great grip/stance/knowledge of firearms. There are videos devoted to this gun having problems and they act like it's some rare thing.
My 1st mag I had 4 FTRTB issues with 115g Fiocchi. This isn't my first compensated gun and know to never limp-wrist my grip. I cleaned and lubed it today. I will try another session this weekend with 115g and 124g to see if mine prefers different ammo or not. If it is still an issue I'll reach out to Canik to start discussing swapping my spring for something more agressive.
Just a heads up.. their spring swap didn't fix mine. I kept it just in case the replacement has issues too... hopeless with this terrible decision of a purchase my dad made lol
I call BS on the explanation. I freaking hate companies spinning their narratives. It doesnt feel like it is 10 out of 1000 have issues. Just admit that the gun design has flaws which could lead to the inconsistency in manufacturing or the quality control of the mfg processes are simply inadequate. This is the last canik I will purchase. I had high hopes for this brand.
Although user error does occur (i.e. limp wrist) it was apparent to me the intermittent out of battery problem was the light recoil spring. Canik discovered this also and sent me another (likely from another Canik model) and it solved the problem.
Yes!! Should have option when buying to choose left or right holster. I finally just got a left handed Blackhawk holster which uses the light and not gun to hold. Used for both my SFT and now my TTI
Same issue I have 3 comped guns that I shoot with no problem. Had approximately 9 fail to fire with 2 different shooters out of 150 rounds. This is an issue with more than 4 or 5 guns. The gun does shoot great when it shoots.
I just got mine not too long ago. I have put 200 rounds in it with 115 grain. zero issues whatsoever I love the gun. I wouldn’t trade it for nothing else.
I love Canik. I own their much older TP9SA. Never had a failure to feed or failure to fire. The gun performs flawlessly. I was considering the Canik TTI Combat as my next gun purchase. I think I will wait this one out. The last thing I need is a battery issue in a life-threatening situation. Dismissing this problem to grip pressure is not an acceptable excuse.
Kudos for Canik for trying to provide the proper accessories to help their customers run their gun reliability, but shooters should definitely check their own skill set, before blaming the gun. Grip is a huge issue, when it comes to reliability. Do not be afraid to check yourself, and see if you are the problem. I have been a firearms teainer for years, and cant tell you the amount of reliability issues i have seen due to a limp wristed grip. I cant wait to get my hands on this gun, and try different things to test reliability, and see if i can reproduce the malfunction.
This is what I try to tell people. I've got probably close to 1000 rounds through mine in the past month and the only time there was a failure was when I let a newer shooter try it and he was thumbing the slide so I think that was the issue. I don't doubt that some people have gotten lemons, that always happens with mass production but I believe a lot of the mishaps are from the shooter themselves.
@jamiegassaway7688 I 100% am sure someone, somewhere, will get a bad gun. I'm also 100% sure, some of these failures are operator error lol. I have seen so may firearms malfunction from bad grip, not letting the slide go back into battery, and people, who's thumbs ride the slide stop, that I can't believe that all these guns are bad.
I’m having the same RTB issues as the others have stated with my Canik TTI Combat. I’ll be contacting customer service Monday morning. The rep from Canik was definitely trying to downplay the problem in the video. They know what’s going on.
Follow up on my Canik TTI problems. I trimmed the extractor spring by 1 1/2 coils like many had suggested. By doing this and keeping a strong grip, I had no failures in 200 rounds. However, if I pulled the trigger purposely using a loose grip, the gun would fail RTB every time. I hope this helps someone.
I appreciate that Canik was thinking about the average person when they made this gun, but that was a major oversight to do all that and then make the default spring tuned for a miniscule percentage of shooters. Given this is a known thing with comps, I’m perplexed Canik couldn’t take that into account. If they would’ve gone the extra mile to make sure this thing was near flawless from the start, they could’ve made a major move in the market. Especially since the market is known for having people that will run away at the earliest signs of reliability issues.
Instead of blaming the consumer or sending a spring that won’t actually fix the problem, why not have someone with any amount of technical knowledge trouble shoot it? The real issue with mine was that the extractor spring was over powered and it caused a bind. A less powerful spring makes it to where I can’t make it hang up out of battery anymore if I tried.
I’m sorry but the tons of people on the canik sub Reddit having issues with the new tti canik don’t all have 💩 grips inducing their malfunctions. Test the guns better and fix issues before you send them out to the public. I have other caniks that work perfect. I won’t be buying this one.
They were doing so well with the tp9 and mete series. They seem to be rushing their guns out after the polymer rival. I've been looking at the Rival S the past couple weeks but still hesitant because of the problems with the earlier ones.
I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY! The sheer numbers of ppl who've been having failure to return to battery issues, even AFTER switching out the springs, changing ammo, running their guns wet, etc., is STAGGERING. I really think they rushed this thing into circulation. The QC has obviously been piss poor. Some ppl have gotten TTIs that've run like a Swiss watch, but it seems as if a SIGNIFICANT number of ppl have gotten ones that're no bueno. If this new spring does the trick & fixes the return to battery issues, so be it. But for this Canik dude to basically pull a Sig 320 & blame the consumer is kinda crummy. So yes, it's good they're providing a solution. But he's hedging. "Yeah, we're giving this new spring to ppl who're having failure to return issues, but they're probably doing something wrong." I HIGHLY doubt that every person on Reddit who's had a bad experience with this gun is a rube when it comes to shooting. I'm gonna hold off on this thing for a while until the new spring is in circulation & see how it goes from there.
I’m one of the people having issues with my TTI. I am an RSO and not a single one of my other firearms is failing on me like the tti is. Very disappointed in this gun and was even more disappointed when I tried to send it for warranty and was told it was my fault and they didn’t fix the issue. For anyone wanting to buy this gun I do not recommend it
@TheAnaro This is reason A #1 why I DO NOT buy a gun when it 1st comes out. Because God only knows what kind of kinks need to be worked out. Take the Echelon as a good example. Before they fixed them, they had the mags with the crummy baseplates, resulting in the "exploding mag" problem (not "thermal/kinetic" explosions for those of you who don't know). 2-3 months later, mags are fixed & it's STILL, to ME anyway, the smoothest shooting full-size on the market. I'll hold off on the TTI. I like the Mete SFT Pro & TP9 Elite Combat better anyway. And NEITHER of them really NEED a comp.
I am having the return to battery issue. I’m switching spring took everything apart cleaned and liberated everything. I’ll see tomorrow I reached out to century they want pictures not sure how to photo a breech nearly closed . It was light striking primers I guess because it was barely hung open.
When i got mine a few months ago there was a few failure to fed, cleaned it, same thing ..... Went outside and put 600 round thru it and it's perfect now IMO sometimes me guns just need to be ran a little bit. I'm a few thousand rounds in and runs like well oiled machine.
BS on this reps knowledge. I just received my TTI canik in yesterday. Took it to the range today, many, MANY failure to fires. Switched out recoil springs, did not help. Does not go into battery most of the time. Tried several types of ammo, even switched out mags, just in case. Still MANY FTF due to not going into battery. Have a Sig 320 AXG Legion no issues with hundred of rounds through the gun. So very disappointed in this firearm, what a bunch of BS from the influencers. My recommendation don't buy, run away!!
@@dsnipedu pretty sure =it was this one contact sprinco to be sure its still running bad ass ! 18898 Canik TP9SFx Performance Kit (Includes Recoil Management System with YELLOW Recoil Spring + 29 Newton Striker Spring)
The only issue with my TTI CANIK is my slide release lever on the left side does not match the one of the right. It does not have the cuts in it. Other than that it runs great.
My TTI combat would hardly run when I first got it. Very experienced shooter, problem was definitely with the gun. My FFL shipped it back for repairs. New recoil spring, and striker and so far just one feeding issue in about 600 rounds.
I have 3 hangups in 200 rounds. I'll try to adjust my grip, but it seems off for it to hang up so many times. I have 3 hangups out of 2500 rounds in my sig p365x macro
Love mine and had no issues however the only complaint would be the striker and striker channel was full of oil when I purchased it. Cleaned it before the range and no issues with 280 rds so far from 107 to 147g FMJ/JHP ammo and the standard spring. Love how it shoots and have a Holosun 507 Comp on it.
So you took the lubrication off of a moving metal part so that you can encourage the most amount of friction… You’ll be sending that to the manufacturer in a few years
@@DymondCityRydaz No. You are NOT supposed to even oil the striker in any pistol, let alone have a build up of it around the striker channel. This is gun cleaning 101.
Comps should be optional with most of the models, as a competitor that puts you into an Open division and this gun will not compare to custom Open guns that competitors run. So it would only be a fun/training gun. If they want to push for "race" guns they need to get specific with divisions from around the world.
They're not the only ones getting caught up in the wrong divisions because they wanted to add cool stuff to the gun. Walther initially marketed their Q5 match as a "standard" gun but they only had 17-round magazines and a 5 pound striker fire trigger. Luckily all you have to do is remove the mag well and be in production, where it's perfect. It just doesn't look so cool without the mag well. And then Laugo released their Alien as the perfect production gun, but it wasn't legal in production optics and it took them a couple years to make another version that could be used in PO. I know it's not that easy, because not everything is IPSC and USPSA has different requirements. But I think a compensator will put you in open in both sports. Which is stupid, because none of it is an open gun.
My glocks shoot perfect. But my tti has shown me that my grip sucks and I'm trying to relearn how to shoot cause I do get failure to go into battery because of my limp wristing. That said you know they ha e gotten thousands of complaints about this issue if they are gonna release and send out a spring. Kinda offensive that he expects us to believe only 10 complaints and they are on it.. riiiiiigghhht.
So glad to read that I’m not alone. This is not something that will go away. I shot 500 rounds through this weapon (painful process) with multiple issues each magazine and progressively got worse… Thank god for this video, I’ve reached out to Canik today hoping it will be fixed.
not alone at all dude canik is just denying it's common to the public huge issue and I'm down 1,100 because i stupidly bought two extra extended mags while it was in repair the first time waiting on a replacement what we really want is a refund
Got mine 2 weeks ago , same problem to return to battery. I put 500 rounds into it and I got at least 100 failures . I checked the striker and it's damage... WTF canik...
They blamed the recoil springs for the MC9’s issues, too. And the recoil springs in them are garbage, but I think a lot of people are having more problems with new Caniks than underpowered recoil springs.
TTI has been the most disappointing $1000 I spent on anything. Mine is virtually useless even after replacing the high power spring. I get 1 or more failures per mag. And I'm running Canik 10 round mags. I also have the MC9 which had issues at the beginning but my failure rate is now 1 or 2 every 100 rounds. I have completely given up on Canik and moving on to the real thing Walther. I can't rely on a Canik to save my life in a tough situation.
I love my Canik Rival S but yeah, every once in a while they malfunction. Enough that I cannot trust to use them in a match. I've changed all the springs and it's much better but still occasional issues. I bought the Walther Q4 sf and Q5 SF and those are now my competition guns. Never any issues. The Caniks have been relegated to fun range guns.
I’ve been shooting for two years, yes I bought this gun because of John wick affiliation. I have two hks and have expanded my experience with different pistols. But after 500 rounds my tti has return to battery issues if it’s not 124g or higher and I have seen videos of damaged firing pins. I’m let down for sure. I will not buy a marketed pistol again until it’s been out for awhile. I’ve had over a dozen malfunctions. And my hks are both over thousand rounds not one issue. Lesson learned!
I purchased a TTI Combat less than a month ago and have had multiple fail to return to battery issues within the first couple hundred rounds. I've reached out to Canik for a response, but this guy blaming the customer is ridiculous. I've owned multiple handguns by several manufacturers and have never had this issue. Ran 115 & 124gr and let another person run the gun. Same issue persisted within a couple mags.
Yeaaa mine dont go into battery with the springs it came with. I shoot regularly and my grip is firm. Shoulda just sent the high power spring to begin with.
I just fired 100 rounds out, and every few rounds it would fail to strike, fail to fire. I would eject the round, inspect it, and there was no strike on it. I would put the round back in the mag and it would fire. Then it would fail to strike again in another few rounds.
They sure don't make it easy at all to get the upgraded recoil spring for a known issue. I have to catch it on video for them to think about helping me. Because I always record myself shooting by myself. Smh
Bought this pistol and the first mag got a malfunction. Super sick I spent 1100 on a broken gun smh shame on canik for hyping this hot garbage and rushing it out without proper quality control will be selling it . If you guys are smart wait for the gen 2 version don’t get this one !
I guarantee I am not limp wristing my TTI Combat. I have shot compensated pistols with now issue. It’s a manufacturing issue. I can’t get more than two rounds out without it catching. Hopefully they send me a new spring after I sent in complaint. Would be an amazing gun if it worked right.
No failures to return to battery, just 6 times out of 550 rounds the striker failed to hit the primer. No limp wristing here. Hooe they find a solution for the real issue
Bottom line. Gun shoots very flat. Very soft recoil. Very accurate. Can you ask for more? Indeed. You can ask for a gun that doesn’t misfire 10 to 20 times in 250 rounds. First failure to return to battery. Yes, good service. They quickly sent out new spring. It has green ink color on it which flakes off and gets all over the innards. That spring fixed the return to battery. But it didn’t fix light primer strikes. I want to love this gun. I had to send it back. They take two months to send back or more. And in many instances it’s still not right. The tremendous unreliability of this gun has totally soured me in Caniks. It’s my first and last.
Wow..I’m at 2000 rounds with my Canik TTI AND ZERO MALFUNCTIONS SO FAR. FIRED 90, 115 , 124 and 147 grain and it has ran it all with zero malfunctions. Guess I got a good one.
I’ve had constant issue with mine and I have a Hercules grip from working out. The rounds are hitting the feed lip and then not going fully into battery. This guy saying they’ve seen 10 out of thousands is a flat out lie
I was suuuper hyped to buy this gun but…. There are waaaaay more videos about this gun that are negative than there are positive. I own a Trophy edition Rival and I love it. But I think my Canik Journey ends with that one. This video seems like Canik isn’t really trying to fix it or hell, why not just replace the issues with better parts that way there’s no guessing if it’s the shooter or the gun
bought the tti at the store with a range then first mag i get a stove pipe 3 times out of 10 rounds with 124 gr sellier bellot. second mag i get two light primer strikes… canik dont have a number for customer service. this shit is bullshit … i paid 800 for the case and accessories and fake gold coin and 200 for the cheap bullshit gun. worst 1k i ever spent … canik customer service is crap
This pistol is unshootable. every other round is a misfire, failure to strike, failure to shoot. never had an issue with any of my other pistols from various manufacturers. This guy's got a real set of cojones calling this recall worthy malfunction a limp wrist issue as if we don't know how to shoot. I cannot find a phone number for canik to call for warranty and technical issues. I sent an email 4 days ago and got an automated response that they'll get back to me in a couple of days. haven't heard from them since. very disappointing. Last Canik ever.
Canik failed the consumers with this product and Taran should be embarrassed for putting his name on this. The attitude with this guy in the interview putting the blame on the consumers is wild. He took no responsibility and just said lies.
4 weeks for a repaired one that was NOT repaired ??? weeks or months (still waiting) for a replacement fucking waste of time and energy let alone money they promised too much and now they are backlogged with defective pistols
Heres the important thing to remember about caniks. Its an awesome my first gun for someone. Its an awesome gun if yoh want a souped up gun. Dont know a gunsmith. And would never attempt any job yourself on your gun. Bc you would break it. Then get a canik. If you ever want to do anything to your gun besides clean it. You need to get a glock. Canik. Treats their guns like xbox and sony treat consoles. Basically. You. Inside. No. Unless to clean. And they stick to their guns on that.
So if you game. And would buy a console over a pc. And that same logic applies to how you do firearms. You're good to go on canik. But they make competition guns. And every competitive shooter is a tinkerer. So. Wrong field for how they want to conduct business
But I don't like it. Bc right now with the tti combat. There is no striker issue. According to canik. There's guys online like. The heck there's not. Look at mine. They're being told. You're not supposed to be that far into your gun. That's the secret when a company wants to be so like that.
So to get anything handled. You have to call them. Make lots of references to what you're seeing online and continually remind them. You've done nothing to yours other than the 5 part field strip and cleaning.
My story. I bought a rival s. Bought a canik gas pedal for it. Went to remove the screw. It stripped. Canik used that clause to send me to an armorer and offered to cover nothing.
FTRTB FIX****trim 2 coils of the extractor spring**** First 250 rounds I had over 30 FTRTB (several times a mag). Trimmed the extractor spring- zero issues after 200 rounds. Watch any Canik MC9 FTRTB issue and it’s the same process- lots of videos out there. Blaming limp writing is the biggest piece of shit cop out response I’ve ever seen. I love the way caniks shoot, SUPER disappointed in the support and blaming LIMP writing.
I've known Adam for a long time & we are having a conversation. Conversations are dynamic. But I recognize what you're saying, and that is annoying & sometimes cringe. Appreciate you calling that out.
Probably ammo issue, space, spring, return it could be anything. My cz scheckmate and staccato doesn’t like standard ammo sometimes. Itches wants 147grain and higher. My hypercomp, long zev will cycle anything. My Cz shadow 2 at 3lbs cycles everything until I had to change it to floating pin and using 11lb recoil spring lol the pin popped out I use it the most. I did order the canik tti combat. It’s a sub $1000 pistol expect a sub $1000 pistol 😂 I’ve tested a bunch of ammo. Never running blazers again dirty ammo. Winchester is clean and easily affordable and they never jam. I have a few thou magtech even they jam from time to time.
I hate the whole limp wristing or weak grip excuse for guns not functioning. It 2024 and there is no excuse for that garbage. If you are using the gun for competition then OK.. I guess, but for self defense.. nope.
Limp wrist or weak grip can cause failures. It’s been discussed to the ends and back. I have take several classes for tactical handgun training and they all talk about limp wrist or weak grip. Happens to glocks, sigs, s&w, fn…
Hey im another DIS satisfied Customer where do i get in line and complane Sounds like he's saying we who purchased the tti canik is on our own Fix it yourself. IF I HAVE TO FIX IT MY SELF BET UR AZZ ILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER .............................
I'm shocked. As nice as mine is no failures from the start. 600 rounds no fte or ftf from round one. I love mine and having spent 1k on it im happy as can be with it. Best of luck!
"Despite the multitudes of problems from hundreds if not thousands or users returning their guns for repair, you're just idiots that don't know how to hold THIS gun" --The White Dude in the video.
For a $1000 gun-having two failures in the first 200 rounds is wild😅.
Lucky you. This gun is still a piece of shit 😊... at least mine
Don't pass the blame onto the users - there is something wrong with some of them...
yep!
i'm one of those good shooters waiting for a replacement man
ran a shadow 2 compact earlier, zero issues (except i forgot to bring a flathead for the back iron sight to adjust vertical lol)
@@Jehon-h3s Still no issues so far. I have around 1000 rounds with the TTI and all is working fine for me.

What spring did u install?where did u get the spring?
I just hit 600 rounds using 124gr Remington UMC ammo. Runs great! Thanks for creating this firearm Canik!
What spring did you use? The one inside the gun or the heavier load?
I took out the firing pin and there is damage. Contacted Canik, they are sending me a new firing pin and a new spring they manufactured for this issue. I highly suggest that you check firing pin not just get a new spring. Parts will be in Tuesday hopefully this fixes the issue. I only put 50 rounds through the TTI Combat it shouldn’t have damaged the firing pin.
Any updates? I just threw one on layaway today, cause I didn’t want my wife to find out what I am paying for it
Bought two of these.
Same return to battery issue. Sending back. I think the magazine is setting too deep stoping the slide. What did they do for yours ?
To many people joining the me too movement.
This seems like the alphabet soup hysteria. One or two people say something on Reddit and everyone wants to be part of the crowd.
I haven't had a problem since.
i wish that was my experience
sent one in for my stepdad, it came back with less issues but still a lot of issues
waiting on replacement, waited far too long
Had exactly same issue with added fun of dented bullets causing jams.
Had mine about 5 months now , not a single issue . Runs great
I have a TTI combat and the RTB issues are 100% too tight of an extraction spring. Cut 1 1/2 coil from it and now mine runs flawlessly.
Before doing this I couldn’t even get through a magazine no matter the brand or grain without a RTB failure.
yea... their gunsmiths couldn't even fix it, waiting on a replacement hopefully they make sure it isn't defective, taking FOREVER
Make a LEFT hand holster, gezzz
As a left-handed person is very hard to find the left-handed holster I wish they give you an option 🤔
Yes!! Should have option when buying to choose left or right holster. I finally just got a left handed Blackhawk holster which uses the light and not gun to hold. Used for both my SFT and now my TTI
My opinion, the grip texture is the best part!! Worst part, the upper will not run on the steel frame..
that grip is definitely GOATED
$20 taron grips on amazon feel way better on my glock 17, totally honest man
Same issue I have 3 comped guns that I shoot with no problem. Had approximately 9 fail to fire with 2 different shooters out of 150 rounds. This is an issue with more than 4 or 5 guns. The gun does shoot great when it shoots.
the fact they are denying it is disgusting when it's all over the damn web that people are having a lot of issues
Ok that still does not explain the damage on the striker in less than 300 rounds, weak grips does not damage strikers.
I was going to buy one but after hearing about the problems I went with S&W
Smart choice. It's a 1000 dollar gamble. It works for some, and it is useless for others.
For anyone wanting to buy this gun I do not recommend it
@TheAnaro
This is reason A #1 why I DO NOT buy a gun when it 1st comes out.
There’s way more than just a couple of TTIs having this issue. Both of mine are back at Canik to hopefully get fixed.
Have zero issues with mineZ Have put 800 through it
I’d like to see a response on the mc9 and out of battery issues.
I've seen some repair videos but canik seems to be really big on not acknowledging when they've fucked up so don't hold your breath.

It's a buttload more but I'm feeling the new radian p365xl ramjet setup
Love mine and had no issues however the only complaint would be the striker and striker channel was full of oil when I purchased it. Cleaned it before the range and no issues with 280 rds so far from 107 to 147g FMJ/JHP ammo and the standard spring. Love how it shoots and have a Holosun 507 Comp on it.
woahhhh 147-107? that's insane. I'm glad it ran!
What brand ammo are you using?
So you took the lubrication off of a moving metal part so that you can encourage the most amount of friction… You’ll be sending that to the manufacturer in a few years
@@DymondCityRydaz No. You are NOT supposed to even oil the striker in any pistol, let alone have a build up of it around the striker channel. This is gun cleaning 101.
@@HammersOverStrikers yet the manufacturer sent someone one that absolutely was 🤔. Make sure you guys buy warrantees.
Just got this POS to the range following the repairs from Canik. 500 rounds 11 stovepipes 3 return to battery failures. Don’t waste your money.
I shot 500 rounds through this weapon (painful process) with multiple issues each magazine and progressively got worse… Thank god for this video, I’ve reached out to Canik today hoping it will be fixed.
not alone at all dude canik is just denying it's common to the public
huge issue and I'm down 1,100 because i stupidly bought two extra extended mags while it was in repair the first time
waiting on a replacement what we really want is a refund
Just got my tti back from canik. Had a broken firing pin and recoil spring. Gun only had 60 rounds of normal target anmo
Got mine 2 weeks ago , same problem to return to battery. I put 500 rounds into it and I got at least 100 failures . I checked the striker and it's damage...
WTF canik...
I wonder how many people who had issues actually tried both springs that come with the pistol
So if I’m shooting a 115g bullet, am I using the standard spring that is in the gun, or the extra spring?
It should come with a matrix (pun intended) to tell you which spring to use with each PF. LMAO!
Wanna get a TTI Combat but I’ve read too many people’s bad experiences. Make me worried unless I’m lucky to get a good one
I have the rival S and the TTI. Great guns.
I field down the edge of the gueid ramp and had no more issues
They send a spring but the strikers are worn within a couple hundred rounds
Not just worn, broken. Terrible. Went home with a new CZ today.
Never actually answered the question of what platform it made from.
Wow..I’m at 2000 rounds with my Canik TTI AND ZERO MALFUNCTIONS SO FAR. FIRED 90, 115 , 124 and 147 grain and it has ran it all with zero malfunctions. Guess I got a good one.
Same here . No issues
I’ve had constant issue with mine and I have a Hercules grip from working out. The rounds are hitting the feed lip and then not going fully into battery. This guy saying they’ve seen 10 out of thousands is a flat out lie
Canik is blowing smoke. The issue isn't the recoil spring.
Iv bought a canik TTI combat and have had no issues what so ever yet and have owned it since a day before release
Liar! theres more than 10 people having issues just in this chat
Now we just need a canik ds1911
they need to recall this gun im sure tarans pissed because its EVERYONE having this problem not just a few not living up to Taran tactical quality
Yeah I’m having problems with mine also
bought the tti at the store with a range then first mag i get a stove pipe 3 times out of 10 rounds with 124 gr sellier bellot. second mag i get two light primer strikes… canik dont have a number for customer service. this shit is bullshit … i paid 800 for the case and accessories and fake gold coin and 200 for the cheap bullshit gun. worst 1k i ever spent … canik customer service is crap
i guess I'm lucky then because mine is PERFECT.
Nothing like blaming the consumer for a defective product. A bunch of their models have these issues. Do better.
Yup. I received the new spring and still have issues. Only been shooting guns for the past 20 years. Guess I forgot how to grip a gun 😂
Junk pistol….. malfunction after malfunction…. Huge variation in quality of production indicating poor quality control… Nope… Nope
Make an extended striker.
I have one and 6 of my freinds have them and no issues from any of our guns!!!
First 200 rounds down and not a single malfunction 🤷♂️
Canik failed the consumers with this product and Taran should be embarrassed for putting his name on this. The attitude with this guy in the interview putting the blame on the consumers is wild. He took no responsibility and just said lies.
4 weeks for a repaired one that was NOT repaired
??? weeks or months (still waiting) for a replacement
fucking waste of time and energy let alone money
they promised too much and now they are backlogged with defective pistols
On a 3 week old gun. They had all the warranty paperwork for. Requested again. Got supplied with. And then told me that.
Great convo and awesome video

Blaming limp writing is the biggest piece of shit cop out response I’ve ever seen. I love the way caniks shoot, SUPER disappointed in the support and blaming LIMP writing.
This guy is the worst interviewer ever. Asks a question and then won't shut up long enough to hear the answer.
Grip? Then how can women shoot well?
I hate when interviewers talk over people. Just let them finish then speak 😫
