Anyone have experience concealed carrying the Mete SFT? I’m considering this as part of my rotation but hearing conflicting opinions about whether I should conceal carry this weapon.
If you’ve full sized carry in the past, then it’s fine. Striker fired can be an issue for those who prefer have one in the chamber and so for that reason prefer to have the hammer, so they can be sure when they draw that they can hold the action in place… but the EXCELLENT trigger on the STF has safety on it, so maybe that’s enough relief for you so that you don’t find striker a consideration. As stated in the video, it’s a full sized gun. For me, I can conceal with both light and with red dot on a full sized weapon with no issue, but that’s me. Maybe you prefer subcompact and this thing is too big. I like it, but am also considering trying the MC9 for a bit, just to size down and experiment.

"Are we really having this discussion?" 😄 @DV8 ***You are a judgemental buffoon. I have 40 plus years experience with firearms and probably I have more guns than you do, who pretends to be "the expert." The Canik you describe comes from hate for Turkey and the loyalty for your favorite gun manufacturer, a fanboy. By the way, a Canik TP9 V2 is an old model long replaced by the TP9 DA, a gem of a pistol, indeed, but not even close to the METE SFT. So, yeah, you own one old Canik model and several H&K guns, and you defend H&K with passion because that's all you have, so you believe you have the "best." Unlike you, fixed on H&K only, I own a fairly large selection of different firearms from different manufacturers. You see, unlike you I am not a brand name loyalist fan. @DV8 ***H&K makes great quality handguns. I love the VP9, but prefer the Walther PPQ/PDP. Canik makes great quality handguns, and they are not below H&K, except Canik pistols are not overpriced as H&K are. The METE SFT has nothing to envy to the VP9. You obviously have never handled and fired a Canik METE SFT. Hence, your personal opinion is solely based on your preference for H&K.
@DV8 *** your knowledge about Canik handguns is biased. You have only an old outdated TP9 V2 model and you pass judgment on all the rest Canik models based on that one model. I own mainly, among other gun manufacturers, Walther GmbH, CZ, Glock, and Canik pistols of different models and calibers. Canik handguns are superb modern combat handguns. You stick to H&K, they are fine. With that said, the METE SFT is an outstanding platform par with "big names" equivalent pistols.
Canik has definately come a long way from their initial release. They're making improvements with every new design. 👍
