I stopped after 16 minutes to write this (I will finish watching after) Risking stating the obvious here, but every time I watch a video on this channel I’m struck with how good you are at golf. But more then that, the demeanour by which you carry yourself is inspiring and what everyone should be chasing to find on the course. This was best epitomised in your videos with Dan Walker (a real privilege to see your friendship). The way hole 7 was dispatched for par and then the amazing shot out of the coffin. My favourite 15 minutes of RUclips golf this week. Like many who watch your videos, I find there is something quite cathartic about them, a slowing down of the business and a turning down of the noise of life.
I agree with your sentiment! Iona has inspired me to handle my bad shots with maximum grace. I didn't have a bad attitude ever really, but I carry myself even better and more encouraging to my partners too. These videos really bring me joy and peace on top of the tips that have helped me be a better golfer! I also chuckle because I pause the video to start commenting. Then have to edit my comment throughout the video as I have more to gush about. Haha. Cheers!
Totally agree that Iona is a great golfer and communicator. Her teaching skills awesome. I would love to travel to Scotland and take some lessons. A beautiful country and a beautiful instructor. Felt like I was there while watching. How I would love to have her short game. Iona, will you marry me!
All the other golf channels make me passionate about improving my golf. Whereas Iona,s golf channel is better, for it simply makes me want to enjoy life. Thank you Iona.
As a caddie at a links-style course (Chambers Bay), I should play the first minutes of this video for many of my players. Both the putter play and the smart bunker shot are perfect tutorials!
What a wonderful introduction to Royal Troon’s nightmarish difficulties. Knowing little before watching this, I now can’t wait to see how the pros manage their way around this course! Iona’s joy with the honk of the passing train was an absolute treat. Such fun watching and listening to Iona; a real talent and a great content creator.
Best golf channel bar none. Iona is so passionate about the game we all love. She can play and she gets as excited when her guests play well or hit good shots as she does her own golf. Well done ❤

Bloody hell, I thought the bunkers at Dornoch were tough, but these are something else. What a stunning looking course. Will definitely need to add this to the list. Great video and well played, and well done to the greenkeepers for all they're hard graft.👍
As a 66 year old 16 handicapper I feel that I have learnt more from Iona than anyone else on social media. Perhaps the most important thing is to keep the swing slow and under control. Her swing is awesome.
The joy over the train toot was fantastic. We’re all still children at heart. I’m 53 6ft 5” and 125kg and I’d still get the train driver to do that, and be as happy as Iona if the driver obliged. As others have said, your videos are so relaxing, enjoyable and informative. The only RUclips channel my wife will watch along with me.
Excellent presentation. Brings back wonderful memories of the Open in 1962 when I was a kid. My dad took me to watch his friend Charlie Green win the top amateur award. We then followed Arnold Palmer over the finishing holes. He was smoking L&M's and each time he threw one away I picked it up much to everyone's amusement. That night I had a sneaky puff at one of them, the only time I ever smoked. I kept them for years together with my Arnold Palmer scrapbook. Thank you Iona, you are a natural.

Another gem of a video, Iona delivered some very impressive bunker shots to show us how it's done. Her joy at getting the train driver to sound the horn and Kieran's finish with a 2 made me smile. Best golf channel by far.
