Risking stating the obvious here, but every time I watch a video on this channel I’m struck with how good you are at golf. But more then that, the demeanour by which you carry yourself is inspiring and what everyone should be chasing to find on the course. This was best epitomised in your videos with Dan Walker (a real privilege to see your friendship).
The way hole 7 was dispatched for par and then the amazing shot out of the coffin. My favourite 15 minutes of RUclips golf this week.
Like many who watch your videos, I find there is something quite cathartic about them, a slowing down of the business and a turning down of the noise of life.
I agree with your sentiment! Iona has inspired me to handle my bad shots with maximum grace. I didn't have a bad attitude ever really, but I carry myself even better and more encouraging to my partners too. These videos really bring me joy and peace on top of the tips that have helped me be a better golfer!
I also chuckle because I pause the video to start commenting. Then have to edit my comment throughout the video as I have more to gush about. Haha. Cheers!
All the other golf channels make me passionate about improving my golf.

What a wonderful introduction to Royal Troon’s nightmarish difficulties. Knowing little before watching this, I now can’t wait to see how the pros manage their way around this course! Iona’s joy with the honk of the passing train was an absolute treat. Such fun watching and listening to Iona; a real talent and a great content creator.

As a 66 year old 16 handicapper I feel that I have learnt more from Iona than anyone else on social media. Perhaps the most important thing is to keep the swing slow and under control. Her swing is awesome.
This is poetry, Iona. GOD, I LOVE GOLF.
Excellent presentation. Brings back wonderful memories of the Open in 1962 when I was a kid. My dad took me to watch his friend Charlie Green win the top amateur award. We then followed Arnold Palmer over the finishing holes. He was smoking L&M's and each time he threw one away I picked it up much to everyone's amusement. That night I had a sneaky puff at one of them, the only time I ever smoked. I kept them for years together with my Arnold Palmer scrapbook. Thank you Iona, you are a natural.

Another gem of a video, Iona delivered some very impressive bunker shots to show us how it's done. Her joy at getting the train driver to sound the horn and Kieran's finish with a 2 made me smile. Best golf channel by far.

The joy over the train toot was fantastic. We’re all still children at heart. I’m 53 6ft 5” and 125kg and I’d still get the train driver to do that, and be as happy as Iona if the driver obliged. As others have said, your videos are so relaxing, enjoyable and informative. The only RUclips channel my wife will watch along with me.

I watch a lot of RUclips golf, and this is the nicest experience of the lot, no huffing and puffing, no arrogance, and no pretensions (you can try to guess the 3 youtubers, and I love watching them really). And what a great course to challenge the big hitters to stay straight. Hope Kieron gets to play.

What a finish!! I say it every week, that no matter what kind of stinking day on the course you have, there is always one shot or lucky break that makes you return. A pleasure to watch and Iona has some superb bunker skills. They looked very scary.
Have become obsessed with this channel now, anticipating every single episode and making sure I don’t watch without being fully in the moment with no distractions. The superlatives just keep on coming. Iona just oozing class and can hear the enthusiasm in her voice with regards the history and anticipation of the course. Easily the best channel now, as has the golf credibility. Would love to see Iona on a road to the open series and tee it up once more with the pro’s. Stunning episode, as always. Thank you

Omg Iona what a great insight to the open . I have stayed at Royal Troon but never played the course how fantastic was that . Wow what a finish on the 18th hole absolutely superb 🏌️♂️⛳️
That hole out was something for sure. I managed to do that back in 2017 from 165 yards, 4 weeks after I had my first hole in one from 138 yards that sadly I didn't get to see go in due to a small mound in front of the green. So the 2 on a par 4 made up for it since I see that go in. Cracking stuff Iona, as always.
It’s so refreshing to see positive golf content. Iona always plays with a smile on her face which makes her content so enjoyable. A beautiful love for the game shines through. Side note I’d give anything for her drive. Yet to see Iona hit a bad shot with a driver!

I’m a huge fan of Iona, and concur with many of the messages left. Beautiful golf swing and lovely personality. Have you thought to do anything with Richard Marshall? Similar in his swing is insane, and comes across as a genuine, good guy. I think it would make a great piece. Please keep up with the videos - we love them.

Well now, I thought that was absolutely brilliant. The 8th hole shows you, par 3’s don’t have to be long to be hard. Really, really enjoyed that content. Your bunker play was exceptional Iona and I have to agree, it’s always more watchable when the pro’s are struggling with the conditions, I would much rather see that than a birdie fest.
Great video with Iona and Kieron giving us a taste of what's to come. I hope the rough is left alone and we get a bit of a breeze. Too many tournaments are played in target golf conditions.
