Dan - honestly this was one of the most incredible interviews. Iona got you to open up too. You are both incredible people. I came from a humble background and Self taught, was reasonably successful. But the the joy I got from ‘mentoring’ others and wanting them to be better than me was my fix. Incredible interview and credit to Iona and her team too. ❤
Getting on in life...58 next month 😂 my bucket list 4 ball would be Dan, Iona and Naga, I can imagine the humourous banter now... Please set it up Dan 😘

What a wonderful interview. Mr Walker is a great interviewee but Iona has the gift of asking the question then being quiet and allowing the person to speak. You see so many interviewers who make it all about themselves. She makes something incredibly difficult look effortless
One of the best videos on RUclips. Two genuine people confident in each other's company to answer any question openly and honestly. As Dan said several times "great questions" Iona 👏👏

Not sure I’ve got the words to fully describe how I’m feeling having just watched this, 2 of my fav presenters, golf addicts as myself, from the laughter on the course to the dept of Dans responses to the wonderful questions, in particular Dans thoughts on Great people, Kindness and Gary Speed, absolutely wonderful, thank you Iona and Dan 👏👏👏👏👏👏

What an interview. Brought back memories of when I consider suicide. My brother just talked to me and didn’t judge. I have had a great life since, married with 2 boys, now retired!
I wasn't familiar with Dan prior to this video, but what a wonderful human being. Brilliant and lovely video Iona. These playing/sit down interviews are hands down some of the best content on this platform.

What a thought provoking interview. If more people in this world had the same philosophy as Dan, with regards to being kind and thinking of others , then the world might just be a lot better place to live than what we see happening in the names of religion and politics. Brava Iona and kudos to Dan regarding the mental health initiative he is persuing. 👏👏

I was lucky to spend a week with Dan playing golf in Portugal years ago before he was ‘big time’ he was genuinely as positive and such a consistently lovely guy as he comes across in this video. Well done Iona another great episode 👍

What an awesome interview. Being from the State's I didn't know Dan. I feel enriched by getting this glimpse of him. Especially from minute 31 to the end, what great heart was shared.
Loved the interview with Dan, a lot resonates with me…whilst I don’t share his religious beliefs, I do think there is a lot of mileage in just being kind…and as a man of a certain age, looking for those signs in others for when they’re not doing so well. Bravo Iona, top video.

Hi Iona, I just need to say a massive thank you and well done for this video. I have just finished watching it for the second time and can honestly say this is the best You Tube content I have ever watched. I laughed, shed some tears and gained an admiration for a person I had not heard of before watching this. Your guest Dan was truly amazing and inspirational, humble and self deprecating, and just seems a really nice person. In a world of increasing cyberbullying and intolerance, Dan is a timely reminder that there are people in the world who do care for others and are actively seeking to make positive change. It was a truly powerful interview and I'm sure it will be a comfort and help to many.
This is a living embodiment of your message that golf can be such a positive influence in a persons life. I really appreciate you taking the risk providing this type of video on what is predominantly a golf channel.
While, for me, the golf played was not the main content of this video, I do need to say "Great putting Iona!!"

There is so much on which i could comment about this video, all of it positive. I have my own journey into golf and you are both so right - the space and time it gives us is invaluable.
