I've been lucky enough to meet and walk the old course with rick, The thing is with rick is he's not forgotten where he's came from. For all that he's achieved he is one of the nicest people I have met just so humble and loves what he does always makes time for his fans, there is something about him that you just instantly like. When I was a boy I played golf in the '80s. I was a junior at Blairgowrie\Rosemount for 7 years, and my teacher, the assistant pro at that time, was Dave Scott. He was a really nice guy and a big influence on me. A few months ago, when getting back into golf after a 33 year hiatus, I learned that he has had a great career, at Kingsbarns and St Andrews, no less, and now runs Dumbarnie Links. I'll have to visit one day and say hello. It's great to see that he's doing a great job there! P.s, I forgot to mention: now Rick has been one of my main teachers over the last 7 months, and I'm playing 2-3 days a week! I'm extremely grateful for his content!
Honest respect to Rick and his grit on never giving up and finding a way to make his name. Hope we can share a Guinness one day!

I dont even play golf but iwatch ricks channel and petes and matts all from ricks... he tells a good story and he shows his workings his fails and the good as well. he just seems llike a genuine person and like i said i dont even play golf but i watch

Never heard Rick talk about his dad, in this or any other video's (not many I haven't seen). It's great to see he's playing such a large role on his kids lives, it's clearly very important to him. Bravo!
