I always wonder how licenses for places like this work. There's so many different permissions you have to get for food trucks and restaurants, do places that run out of their homes have some work around? It probably depends on location, but I'm always curious.
I did a google search and found that you need to acquire a Class B permit from the state of California. That includes an inspector from the state to get a floor plan of your kitchen and inspection for cleanliness and safety. You also need to describe the food your making, ingredients, and pass a course in food safety. I was surprised this is allowed but that's kind of cool.
@@lmac7633 Interesting! I wonder how different it is in places like New York (I've seen videos of similar operations here/there). Ultimately, that does sound a lot cheaper and easier to open, though!
