Joe must have some huge respect and admiration for Jordan. He has refused to be on some of his best friends podcasts for years and has always maintained that he doesn't really enjoy being interviewed... This will probably be used in some future documentary as a "rare moment" after he passes lmao

The intensity at 1:48:00 when he explains that he bowed before entering the training area even when he was alone is so relatable to me. It’s 5am right now as I am preparing to train alone for 2 hours. About to pause this great interview. I have been blessed to run my own martial arts school. Even though it is my school and no one else is here, I still bow when entering the main training area.

Yeah, however Robin Sharma would mention, you spent the critical hours of your life string & unstringing your instrument never singing to song you were meant to sing. Sadly, Ben Franklin said something to the effect most men die on the inside by 27yrs age waiting to die on the outside by 65 on up so both can be buried together. Look, talk is still cheap & theft is eradicating the champion we all were at birth fighting the way to the first breath & cry of victory. Yeah, humans start to write on your heart day one. Remaking champions is the call now to be made in this 21st Century. Let’s get after it. “Twelve Rules for Life” by Jordan Peterson is an excellent blueprint to consider. "Stand up straight with your shoulders back" "Treat yourself like you are someone you are responsible for helping" "Make friends with people who want the best for you" "Compare yourself with who you were yesterday, not with who someone else is today" "Do not let your children do anything that makes you dislike them" "Set your house in perfect order before you criticize the world" "Pursue what is meaningful (not what is expedient)" "Tell the truth - or, at least, don’t lie" "Assume that the person you are listening to might know something you don’t" "Be precise in your speech" "Do not bother children when they are skate-boarding" "Pet a cat when you encounter one on the street" Then search for an elite & prestigious holistic mentoring platform & let us know how the sweetness of success effected & affected your outlook to “the road less traveled.” Develop and “definiteness of purpose,” a vision, plan, and a “monomaniacal focus.” Start Small. Start Now. All the Best in 2021 people.

two of my favorite characters on the internet for the past year. they completely understand each other and respect one another and it makes sense... because it's almost like they are made of the same material. both give tremendous motivation to their surroundings (and audience), both think positively on the world and both believe in pursuing goals and being strong enough to take on whatever's thrown at you while you do it.

Honestly, if all it took for me to relapse was knowing that a few comedians were getting fucked up in California, I'd be a dead man. Haha. Still, everyone does recovery their own way, so I get why a lot of people need to skip out on those episodes. I just take things which make me think about legitimately drinking that moment and use them by realizing that it's not the "trigger" that is at fault, it's something going on with me that I clearly need to work on.
Love Joe Rogan's podcast, but to get to hear HIS story is so incredibly interesting. Thanks JP for doing this, and thank you Joe Rogan for opening up so much on someone else's platform. You make an amazing team.

@Art Deco Jeweller ...good luck with that. hate turns people into what they hate because hate always turns back in upon itself. ultimately, this is because hate is a projection of the inner self out upon the world. when you accept and love yourself, you will only ever feel pity and sadness for other people when they transgress. please reconsider your position with the world. people do actually do great harm to others and must be defended against. but if you allow other people's actions to bring you to hate, then you are doing yourself harm and giving them power. you don't stop hating others for them, you do it for yourself.

“Twelve Rules for Life” by Jordan Peterson is an excellent blueprint to consider.
"Stand up straight with your shoulders back"
"Treat yourself like you are someone you are responsible for helping"
"Make friends with people who want the best for you"
"Compare yourself with who you were yesterday, not with who someone else is today"
"Do not let your children do anything that makes you dislike them"
"Set your house in perfect order before you criticize the world"
"Pursue what is meaningful (not what is expedient)"
"Tell the truth - or, at least, don’t lie"
"Assume that the person you are listening to might know something you don’t"
"Be precise in your speech"
"Do not bother children when they are skate-boarding"
"Pet a cat when you encounter one on the street"

Still, everyone does recovery their own way, so I get why a lot of people need to skip out on those episodes. I just take things which make me think about legitimately drinking that moment and use them by realizing that it's not the "trigger" that is at fault, it's something going on with me that I clearly need to work on.

No issues here for me either. Two of my favorite guys to listen to, and if I had to, I would do it with a tin can on a string. It would be great to be locked in a room with these guys and just dissect their thoughts and learn.
After listening to these two, you realize that hope still exist. God bless you both and God bless everyone.
240p Joe Rogan is what you see during a DMT trip
I got -420P :(
Joe "Machine Elf" Rogan
hahahahahaha
I personally love it!! Gives it that comfy AM feel lol
I love coconut crab (so hard to find outside the South Pacific), but if what you see on DMT is Joe Rogan, you might need some therapy.
Joe Rogan: Have you ever tried DMT?
Jordan Peterson: So I have this Self-Authoring program eh
So uh, you ever tried the self authoring program on dmt?
I think I just became the Dalai Lama
Literally laughed out loud to this one. So true 😂. Love these guys though!
Where?
Liam Schraer 😂😂😂🤣🤣
“eh” 😂😂
The internet is incredible. Thank you both for being you.
The best conversation and dialogue ever. Brought tears to me and my eyes. In the best way possible.
Joe: be a guest on my podcast
Jordan: no you
Jordan used "No u"
It was super effective.
Came to the comments for this. Not disappointed
I like the way Jordan thoroughly covers everything. So often, people just blow past a topic, and I want to hear a little more detail and nuance. Very nice.
Jordan Peterson is the only man who can thank you genuinely and still look upset with you.
He's probably thinking "yes, thank you, that's really good! But you could do better still"
xDD
He knows your room is messy.... He knows
I have been listening and watching the two of you a ton the past year and a half and I'm trying to figure allot of things out with my life and it's been very challenging so far. I get choked up and emotional about my past experiences when I listen but I also feel grateful and hopeful sometimes too. Thank you both for your minds, your honesty, and that you are willing to share yourselves with the world regardless of how challenging it can make life.
"How you doing?"
"Great"
"What's so great about your life?"
HaahahaazzsszAaa
JBP takes small talk to the next level.
"What's so damn great about it?"
Jordan is an insight factory.
I am enriched with every viewing.
Marco lara nice profile pic
Same here. He's quite possibly my favorite person on earth. I would cry like a baby if I got to talk with him lol.
I'm glad but comments like this are the cringe people make fun of. Easy pickings.
Nearly addicted to Jordan Peterson content. Need a few videos a day
nameless76 mozwhaz me too, dude
Its quite refreshing hearing Jordan not in an interview about him and have just a normal casual conversation with someone. I love that he isn't being asked super difficult questions that he has to rake his brain over to answer correctly. As much as a love listening to JP lectures, this interview was almost relaxing to listen to and it seemed JP really enjoyed himself which is fantastic to watch.
32:50 JP - "I have to warn you that there is a beam of light shooting directly out of your head. It's very impressive"
Priceless!
it's like joe's getting therapy lol
Which part was the therapeutic part? I must have missed that.
@@oksanaml9279 alot of talk therapy is just like this. Just a conversation w/ you and your therapist. (Stupid I know I guess the goal is you'll open up more to talk about your real issues)
@@NoodlePastie I have never found that helpful. Most therapists are actually really bad at it.
Was really feeling that for most of this
I believe it was Jung who said that a therapist is only a replacement for a good friend.
i really like how good of a listener Jordan is and how genuinely interested he seems in what Joe's telling him. he always asks about details and stuff. he seems like such a likeable person
Funny, I just had to pause this shit because I just heard JP say that he is sick and tired of talking about himself for the past year, then proceeded to interrupt joe 2 min later to talk about himself 13:50 🤣
You can feel Dr Peterson's emotion coming through his conversation. He is sometimes tentative to feel for the truth inside of himself. It's so interesting to listen to him.
@@Cmzcapital because it's so hard to keep on interrupting people so bring your view across especially if you have so much to say. I think what happens to Jordan he normally has pin drop accurate answers and has to sometimes interrupt to bring across his relevant response at just the right time. So he has to force in his timing.
Jordan is good like that. He doesn´t interrupt every time Joe says something outlandish or dumb, but let him continue to make a point. Very good for the flow and i wish more debaters and discussers could learn not to grandstand on every god damn detail.
Jordan Peterson is one of the smartest people I've listened to, definitely the most helpful, and he still screams at the computer like every boomer. Hahahahaha love ya JP
Rogan, on the other hand.....
All hail the hypno froad
Boomer ? Like baby boomer ?
@@stevenaguilera9202 no, like people who make IEDs
"he's the dumb person's smart person" is an interesting critique ive heard. It's like a two pronged attack, he's not smart and we are dumb for thinking he is. Great 😑
2 of my favourite people having a chat... I feel like I’m sitting at the table having a coffee with you guys... thank you so much... keep it up JP.
Joe and Jordan always have the best conversations
Still not finished. Taking 2 days to watch. Loving this interview!!
Noice
? Hmm. Focused
I'm part of that 30%. Jordon Peterson has had a huge impact on how I look at my life and even the world around me. A great man.
Well said
I’m a lucky sob who’s had a very good life. JBP has made it even better. Luv the man.
My 2 FAVORITE people EVER together having fun talking and educating us at the same time! Love this!!!
This has a nice vibe of lighthearted friendship.
the 2010's and 2020's. The era when people go to comedians rather than mainstream journalists for news.
true though people go to podcasts instead of mainstream media
Right-o
Ha, true that! I love Jimmy Dore too!
Because comedy became commentary, and news became satire.
I would amend that.... 2010s, comics, 2020, comics band with really smart scientists with a powerful message for answers to life, the world and important topics that the rest of us dumb chimps are struggling to figure out without becoming a nation of Sheeple.
"how many kicks in the head did you have to take before you thought being a stand up comedian was a good idea?" Legendary.
Jordan's questions are so great.. he gets to the meat of the information quickly its excellent!
Two grown Men who aren't afraid to cry. Where's that Toxic Masculinity those Feminists keep talking about?
Love this interview :)
Good point.
RIght Here: Real Men Don't Cry.
I feel like I accidentally walked on a private therapy session.
Seriously
I think that is the idea
Hahaha i thought the same
yeah
😂😂😂😂
Words alone cannot express the profundity of the positive impact that both of these men have left on my life! Thank you Joe and Jordan!
Good for you well Dunn!
I like the little note in the video description that says "He's a dear friend to me". Warms my heart
