I see you guys are new to metal, dont listen to the recommendations, they are all good recommends but they aren’t ear-friendly for newbies (even tho they are good for hardcore fans) try “Cowboys from hell” , “cemetery gates” & “Hollow” after all these you will start understanding the structure of pantera, then you can start reacting to more hardcore stuff like “Im broken(killer solo)”, etc
Justin and Staci, the video you watched wasnt an actual concert, that was a choreographed music video. Pantera concerts were way more intense, brutal and high energy. I've been in the pits for 6 Pantera concerts and they were insane! I loved it! The stage diving was all choreographed and usually is not allowed at an actual show UNLESS the band invites a fan on stage to do so. RIP to the guitar solo is right!! RIP Dime the greatest guitarist of all time. He was murdered on stage in 2005.
R.I.P. Vinny and Dime Love seeing you guys react to metal. A lot of metal has strong messages but is discounted as aggressive and sat anic as it is heavy and dirty in sound. I would personally love to see you guys react to In Flames - Come Clarity Dark Tranquillity - In Truth Divided, Forward Momentum and Therein. Hellyeah - Love Falls (Vinny Paul’s band after Pantera spilt up and Dime was murdered on stage during a Damageplan show. Damageplan was the first band Dime and Vinny had after Pantera spilt up) All of the listed above songs have deep lyrics and deserve to be heard. Much love guys I really enjoy your channel.
Hellyeah - X is right up there with Pantera Fucking Hostile or the Moscow Domination performance. Also, don't forget about Dimebash, the celebrity tribute to Dime, including Scott Ian of Anthrax, Corey from... Everything, slayer, Dave grohl from... Everything...
A song with a good message will transcend genres! I love seeing how quickly people sing the RE-SPECT part, shows us just how much you're feeling the song. Great reaction 🤘
Old Pantera fan, here. Every live show I went too was a million percent by these guys. They were the epitome of what a metal band should be. If you haven’t already, check out “This Love” from the same album. Full of groove.
Absolute legends . RIP Dimebag and Vinnie 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Saw them 5 times . Partied on the tour bus and had the infamous “ Black toothed Grin “ Drink . The whole night was a blur but epic .My 20’s were wild ! Pantera was and is part of my life soundtrack Cemetery Gates and Domination live at the Moscow show are amazing .
I wish I could like this video 100 times, I love seeing you guys experience this for the first time. It makes me feel like I'm hearing it for the first time again. RESPECT!!
Dude I've been listing to Pantera since I was 7 years old and I absolutely love his reaction to this SONG! THIS makes my heart feel so happy dude you are pumped! Listen to more of this band it never ends!
I can not express how much i enjoy new people listening to the music of my teen years. Back when i was a teen people didnt get the energy or raw emotion in metal sos they didnt bother to listen to what was being sang. now i will tell you want a hell of a work out at the gym, put on pantera and you will have the best work out. The energy is infectious and you will push yourself without even realizing it.
Saw Pantera way back,I was right up front.People moshing, surfing. Some drunk guy puked all over my shoes, someone else picked my pocket. Other than leaving with no shoes and stinking of vomit and booze,lol-it was crazy energy, great show!!!
2:12 It was the 90s. That was the thing to do in metal concerts. 3:11 Interesting thing to say, considering that Pantera main man Dimebag Darrel was killed during a concert. It was a tragedy.
"Walk on home, boy..." A phrase I have utilized in my own life from time to time in efforts to extend, to others, the small gift of realizing the error of their ways before it became too late to do so 🤘
I worked security for almost 15yrs. Metal shows are wild, but those ppl take care of themselves for the most part. It's when non metal ppl get caught up in an unsuspecting pit that things go wrong. Like when a cover band at the club plays RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE or something close. Someone who's not part of the community gets they butthole hurt and that's when fights start.
Two of the three times I saw people get really out of line at a metal club they were sorted out before security got there, and the third time one guard messed up two idiots before he dragged them outside, where he left them for the cops.
Sadly the song audio is extremely low Also that rip at the guitar comment was a bit... Dimebag was murdered during a show by an insane fan in a paranoid psychosis
Yes, Pantera, Incredible energy and stage presence!! LOVE this song! Check out RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE for equally insane performances LIVE. Love the show, peace, and love from Las Vega$!
The drummer and guitarist were twins. Dimebag Darrell was shot by a “fan” on stage during a show and Vinnie Paul had a heart attack a few years ago and left us. 50% of that band is dead and gone.
Check out pantera DOMINATION live in moscow 1991, if you want that crazy energetic metal vibe you gotta react to that RIP Dimebag Darrell Abbott (guitarist) and his brother vinnie Paul Abbott (Drummer) 🙏🙏🤘🤘
8:46 Dimebag Darrell looks kinda mythical to me right there, looking at that awesome shot of his silhouette as he comes in on that heavy riff after the solo, and knowing that he's gone. 😕
I am a securty person at these kind of music festivles and we try to be laid back but hard at the same time. we know whats allowed per bands request and thats how we react to the various issues that arise. We got hired to do a slim jesus show in st,louis and there was a kid talkin to us that planned to slap slim off stage as had happened at other venues across the country. the owner of the club walked up to us with house secuerty as the kid was telling us that he heard that ninjas where there. the owner of the club introduced the club securty to as and the kid was like you're the ninjas and we just laughed it off. ps nothing happened that night and was the only night that slim didnt get punked off stage.
I took my girlfriend ( now my wife) to her first Pantera concert. She was meek quiet at that time. She was so scared to death to go. Half way through the concert, she was sitting on my shoulders having a bast!!!!! I turned her into a metalhead!
Didn't read all the comments. Did anyone mention that there were two different guys jumping in that scene? One dove into the audience, but they didn't show the landing, Instead they showed someone else landing on the stage.
Great review, if I could give y'all more thumbs up I would, I believe you are underrated. I saw Pantera when I was 16 (1991)and they blew me away. The crowd looked rough and I was a skinny little teen but they were cool as hell
You need to find/watch their 3 Vulgar Videos home videos . That was how Pantera shows went and how they toured. Always a party that carried into the crowd. Those were the days 🤘🏼
Pantera is less like a rabbit trench and less like a whole... sooo many great songs that somewhat defined a new era of metal. Mouth for War 5 Minutes Alone This Love Floods Revolution Is My Name Yesterday Don't Mean Sh*t A New Level The Art of Shredding Planet Caravan Avoid the Light So on and so forth... 😁
Watch the VH1 Behind The Music on Pantera. REACT to it! The night Dimebag was shot on stage is something that will stay with every metalhead for life. Just horribly sad! There are many tribute videos to Dimebag too. He was such a cool and genuinely real person. I saw Pantera many times, hung out backstage a few times and have a tattoo from Dime! I dont mean a tattoo of Dime, I mean he drew on my arm and I had it tattoo'd that night/morning. RIP DIME and VINNIE
Security is a pretty simple job at most Metal shows because 1) we damn near always look out for a person in harms way2) There(at least mid 90-early 2000’s ) is an unwritten rule of policing each other as far as holding them to a sort of honor code 3) as Phil repeats over and over…. RESPECT, RESPECT or you’ll be painfully removed . Unfortunately too many moral codes in our culture have gone down the drain over the last decade it may have changed but I doubt true Metal fans have abandoned the right way to party violently polite….
3:!0 security there are mostly preventing people in the first row from chocking to death or catching a really high dude stage diving right into the tarmac. other than that, metalheads take care of themselves really.
Even though I have severe epilepsy, strobe lights at concerts at I have gone to have never caused me to have a seizure. Everyone with epilepsy is different is very different though.
Just a little band I like to call THE TEXAS STATE ASSAULT TEAM! Saw em live 6 times. Peel your fucking face back! Visual and Sonic overload live. It was a wild live show, not for the timid. It’s just another TEXAS thang. ✌️
this band started as a hair metal band but changed when Phil joined. nobody counts the first records of pantera as pantera music. we only count the Phil years i n the band. RIM Dimebag and Vinny forever will they be missed.
If you think that one was lit, you gotta try out "Cowboys From Hell." It's on another level. I've never heard a song that will make you drive headlong through the drywall more than that one. It's been three years since you did this reaction. I think it might be time for some more Pantera. And, by the way, do the official music video. It's done in much the same style as this one and actually adds to the music. Lots of crowd diving and people losing their minds. It'll pump up both your adrenaline and testosterone to levels you've never experienced before. (And I'm not necessarily a heavy metal guy. I like it and have heard a lot of it, it's just not normally my first choice. But this one is above and beyond.)
Great song and reaction. You like crowd energy you should check out. Megadeth Symphony of destruction live 2005 that one night. You'll love it the song and the crowd
Keep going down the rabbit hole Cemetery gates Shedding skin Floods 13 steps Cowboys from hell Fucking hostile Domination live Pick any and you won't be disappointed
Welcome to the Heavy Metal Genre. Yes I'm a metal head but i listen to all forms of music except a couple. 1 being polka, the other... im not so much into rap except for Tom Macdonald. Got 1 for ya if you REALLY want to hear something that'll make you go WTF is this? Cradle of Filth The Death of Love or From The Cradle to the Grave.

Yeah turn it up! Check out their live version of "Domination". 1.6 million Russians rocking out.
Tool still sells out stadiums, but to be fair, they technically broke on the scene in the early 90's
Check out This Love, Mouth for War, Becoming, I'm broken, etc..

Their perfomance of DOMINATION live in Moscow 1991 is 1000000%%% EPIC
Primal Concrete Sledge from the same show, their shows were amazing
THIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Yes best one
It's really not, Phil was completely out of breath and could barely get through a single line.
R.I.P. Vinny and Dime
Love seeing you guys react to metal. A lot of metal has strong messages but is discounted as aggressive and sat anic as it is heavy and dirty in sound.

A song with a good message will transcend genres!
I love seeing how quickly people sing the RE-SPECT part, shows us just how much you're feeling the song. Great reaction 🤘
My favorite band of all time! God bless the brothers. I miss them. Their music was so important to so many people. It sucks what happened

Bouncer Staci: hey HEY!!! Stop flying!!! Flyer: (pauses in midair) oh shit…my bad (floats to ground peacefully)
Pantera is one of the best metal bands of all time and they were primarily underground. It’s awesome to see y’all checking them out.

2:12 It was the 90s. That was the thing to do in metal concerts.
3:11 Interesting thing to say, considering that Pantera main man Dimebag Darrel was killed during a concert. It was a tragedy.
I just subbed! I've seen a few of your reaction vids and I can't wait for your reaction to this!
"Walk on home, boy..."

I've had to say it to myself.

I was 13 the year this came out. I was a kid in the 80's and a teen in the 90's. I love that era still. Very good times.
Sadly the song audio is extremely low
Also that rip at the guitar comment was a bit... Dimebag was murdered during a show by an insane fan in a paranoid psychosis
It got blocked that’s why we did that
@@YBMJETT Ah ofc, I should have read the pinned comment xD
one of the best songs ever! 🎵 \m/
This is the studio recording. They just used some live performance footage to make a music video with it.
Yes, Pantera, Incredible energy and stage presence!! LOVE this song! Check out RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE for equally insane performances LIVE. Love the show, peace, and love from Las Vega$!
One of my favorite groups growing up so cool you did a reaction on one of their videos also love your channel 😻
I graduated from high school in 92 and I’m here to say that that was a very good year
The drummer and guitarist were twins. Dimebag Darrell was shot by a “fan” on stage during a show and Vinnie Paul had a heart attack a few years ago and left us. 50% of that band is dead and gone.

React to their Cowboys From Hell tune, as they show the jumps and energy from the front man....incredible.
The volume on the music was low...but your reactions were awesome! Loved the deep dive, as always.
