      Facts man vinnie Paul and his brother are two musicians that if you spent anytime listening to them you know that’s vinnie Paul or if dime was still alive that’s dimebag Darrell two sounds that are unmistakable 😎 so I’m literally today finding this channel by complete chance I haven’t gone through all the metal content but because I love this band so much PLEASE listen to/react to a band called jinjer and the song I would suggest you start with that blows everyone away it’s a unplugged version of a song called Pisces

    Don't worry, guys. I'm sure most metalheads would roll their eyes when they hear R&B or Hip Hop for the first time. Music communities be like that sometimes, that's why I love when people give an opportunity to different genres.

    • @jbm0866
      @jbm0866 3 года назад +1

      I respect all music genres..like truly, and have always been like that. Well, not exactly true..had a little trouble with the gawdawful scene music a while back, and Norwegian Black metal doesnt really do much for me...but I'm even within those two genres there is a song or two I'd like..maybe lol. R&B is all about the awesome vocal performances and emotions..and in that respect its not that different than rock. Rock is a fusion of rhythm and blues, jazz, country and folk...just amped up and taken to new levels. Black musicians created the rock genre in the 50's tbh...but for some reason black artists went a different direction after Jimmy Hendrix died.

    Pantera "5 Minutes Alone", "Cowboys From Hell", "I'm Broken" these are ALL METAL masterpieces! In Metal the music tells the story and the changes in the music move you certain ways. With Rap it is pretty much centered on the lyricist and the words he is spitting, however much you like the beat it does not hold the same place in the rap band as it does a Metal/Rock band where the music is sometimes more the center stage, so it comes at music from a completely different way why it is so unusual for "Hip-Hop Heads"! TY for great and honest reaction, watching you guys become METALHEADZ is a GREAT ride!

      There is a clip of Phil talking about a Father wanting five minutes alone with him because his kid got beat at a Pantera (opening for someone) concert for giving the band the finger for the whole set till the beat down. I'm pretty sure that Five Min alone came out in the early 90's, I had it on a mixed tape, I wonder if that was from that incident or if the father knew he was quoting a Pantera song title.
      He (the father) said to the manager that "he did not care about the law suit or the charges, I just wanted five minutes alone with Phil" Phil finishes the story with the manager saying, "no you don't".

    Rock can sound intimidating, but it's the same messages as all music but a different emotional angle, usually anger and frustration, it takes life experience and being letdown in life before understood on a personal level. Glad you two see it for what good it can bring. Much Respect!

    Don't know if anyone has told you, but there are rules to the pit. An etiquette. In most concert pits you help each other out. Someone diving gets supported by the audience because that's what you do. Someone falls in the pit, you pick them up. You can get hurt at these things, but MOST people there are good people that don't want to see anyone hurt.
    That being said, there is a scene where pain and blood are on the menu at all times.

    I took my 3yo to OzFest in 2001. We met Dime, Vinnie and Rex (not my first time). The crowd was tearing up the venue, and Phil told them to stop and just headbang. 186,000 drunk/high people did exactly as they were told and the night was amazing.

    I’ve seen a lot of great concerts. Pantera was the best. I like pantera, they’re not my number one group, but as far as concerts go, they definitely are.

    Another great one is rise by pantera. Taught when we’re young to hate one another. It’s time to have a new reign of power. Make pride universal so no one gives in. Turn our backs on those who oppose. Then when confronted we ask them the question. What’s wrong with their mind? What’s wrong with your mind?….. a 90’s metal classic…

    I think Vinny is the one who described WALK as the band's "radio tune"... I mean everyone, even non-metalheads love this track cos it's so catchy and like you said relatable lyrically. Their next album in '94 actually took the charts.

    Asia is not that you heard enough, you just been through enough, to understand the anger the frustration finding out people are different than who they appear to be, that takes life experience, and I appreciate both of your intellectual insight and perspective and your emotion. You're both beautiful and talented, and I got to say, give a hug to me and BJ because I hope you know that man is strong and that he allows you to have the appearance of the dominant position when it comes to these reaction videos, he caters to your emotional needs to be heard, he holds back so much to allow you to shine that I hope you hug Batman tonight because you know what, I don't think I would have the same confidence humbleness love to do so with anybody that has came into my life which has been some good people so I hope you know that he is the perfect guy for you, BJ, you're a Savage bro, I see how you let your let your girl shine, by allowing her before and the front seat of these reactions and I respect the hell out of you for that, peace out you guys, if you want to love me react to sick kick post Malone mashup, if not, it's okay I love you all, shout out to you from Sactown California, 2 you guys in Dallas area Texas

    Yeah this one is a banger. I saw them in 99 they opened for the Black Sabbath reunion. It was something else. Lots of cursing and whisky drinking on their part. Great show.

    The day after 9/11 in Atlanta one of our radio stations played this song on repeat over and over, on 9/11 the DJ's turned into news reporters just like every DJ in the country did, but after everything was figured out and the day after when everyone was pissed the station played this over and over.
