"I want you guys to get the heart of what this is, and then interpret it and make it your own" - this is a real teacher and a real musician speaking. Excellent.
This was phenomenal, I love Glasper. He's very, very hard to cover. Absolutely brilliant, thank you for this. Don't know why you'd be nervous with that set of chops and those SKILLZ!!!
Wow - I love the way you approach this :-) Starting in the middle of the track is such a great idea. (At the start of April last year I promised myself I'd learn this track and then things happened like they have for everyone and the Kawai-digital ended up in a cupboard. I've just brought it back out and found this excellent vid - so thanks! You should certainly make more RUclips vids if you have time. This is timeless content which will help a lot of people out. Take care, God bless.
Hey Bro, I wanted to thank you sooo much for the performance and tutorial, and especially for taking the time to break down this piece for us so we could all learn it. And I really liked how you left out all the annoying low level stuff like, "this is a C scale, this is how you make a C chord..." like so many RUclipsrs do with difficult advanced pieces. Just curious, are you pro now? Do you do gigs or studio work? I always wondered what it would have been like if I had majored in music which I considered in high school. But as a HS senior, I didn't nearly have the skillz you had (I saw your recital, killer!!!).
*plays sum sweet notes over the progression* ah solo was a little sluggish ;) i really like this tutorial, ur open teaching style makes learning this song so much more fun ... eventhough, i have to say that playing this song in general is fun / makes u feel good :) also more roberttt !! :D

That's what Glasper does he starts in the middle or end of the song. It makes the the previous composition Fresh out of the oven. Cleverly rearrange.
Love you man, great video

And hey Bro, have you ever checked out Micheal Franks "rainy Night in Tokyo?" I'll bet you could do a lot with that!
