    Thanks for telling this secret. It is one simple thing that has been left out in other explanations by others.

    I play guitar, but some of the most valuable tutorials I find are by piano players. I look forward to hearing more about your masterclass.

      James Robinson I’m glad you’re finding the videos useful. We’ll be sending out more info on the Masterclass in the next few days!

      Just wonderful, I have been researching "tell me piano chords" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Nonason Ranincoln Genie - (search on google )?
      It is a good one off guide for discovering how to play the piano like a pro without the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got great results with it.

    What level is your masterclass for?

    • @thegiftedhandsmusic
      @thegiftedhandsmusic  4 года назад +1

      Amalie Bryde It’s more so for intermediate players. If you have a basic understanding of chord qualities (Major, minor, dominant, etc...) and beginner scales (Major/minor) you will benefit from the masterclass.

      @@thegiftedhandsmusic Thank you. Also: Your platinum includes Gifted Hands Academy. What is that?

      @AmalieBryde 4 года назад

      @@thegiftedhandsmusic Also seems like your platinum includes BONUS LESSON like Anomalie and Moonchild. But you already got videos on youtube, so how is that a bonus? :)

      just seems like a lot of your masterclass lessons are the same as your youtube videos when reading the Course Overview

    • @thegiftedhandsmusic
      @thegiftedhandsmusic  4 года назад +3

      Hey Amalie, you have a lot of great questions:
      So first off, the Gifted Hands Academy is an online platform with extended theory lessons, song breakdowns & tutorials to help musicians who want more focused attention. I do live trainings, in depth theory lessons and much more on the academy.
      2) The bonus lessons are different songs than what Is on RUclips and include learning resources like lead sheets, midi files and practice tracks to go along with the lessons.
      3) Even though I’ve put Neo Soul lessons on RUclips, this masterclass is an all inclusive training walking you through the essential elements, theory and songs you need to MASTER Neo Soul. The theory lessons, song breakdowns, practice exercises and other elements all work together to teach you the “big picture” of the genre. Our RUclips channel has Neo Soul lessons yes, but they don’t walk you from beginning to end with all the information you need.
      I hope this helps!

    Hi I'm a learner will this masterclass be suitable or too advanced at this stage?

  • @jmuse9907
    @jmuse9907 4 года назад

    Is the masterclass good for beginners or you have another class for that?

    • @thegiftedhandsmusic
      @thegiftedhandsmusic  4 года назад +1

      J Muse It depends on where you’re at in the beginner phase. If you have a solid understanding of chords & scales then you will definitely find the information useful. If you’re still learning Major/minor scales or don’t know the difference in chord qualities (major, minor, dominant, etc) it will be a bit difficult for you.

      Gifted Hands Music I’ll see how I can handle the class, Thanks.

    This is pretty sweet. Problem is tho..how to solo/improvise when the key centre is pretty much non-existant?..chord tones?

    • @brileystewart
      @brileystewart 3 года назад +4

      Your scale would change depending on the chord being played, instead of playing in relation to a key, your playing in relation to the chord being played at that moment.

    Perhaps you could do this on a piano. It's so difficult to "hear" the harmony you're intending to play with these chords
