Short and clear. This clip saved me time and effort. After installing Windows, half of the disk space was missing, it didn't show it to me. I thought I had to delete windows and reinstall it, but it turns out it can be fixed this way. Thank you very much ! ❤❤❤

I only have disk manager and it looks nothing like what you have
your drive was not detected, try to reseat it and if you still can't see it return that drive because it is faulty
Mine doesn't appear in disk management at all and it's brand new reinstalled multiple times to make sure it's seated into the slot correctly and same thing doesn't show up in disk management
if you could ask a relative or a friend to format your drive in their pc to check. if it doesn't work also i suggest use Rma already since its still new

What if it only displays as boot media not found and wont let you even access the windows page?
try to reseat the drive, reattach the sata cables then clear cmos afterwards

Is this only for when you get more storage, or for when you just finished building your computer with one ssd?
usually when you just finish building a pc with one ssd, this process is done during the windows installation. you only do this with a very brand new drive that comes out of the box and installed it in a working pc

Mine keep saying the drive cannot find the sector requested & my new volume option is greyed out, i need help.
try to replace the data sata cable, if problem is the same afterwards you need to use Rma for that drive
When I install it and boot, it gets stuck on the boot screen without a loading circle. I can't enter the boot menu or anything like that.
if the drive is new use Rma already, it might be faulty unit

you can but i suggest place the nvme with windows in the main nvme socket on your motherboard

try replacing the data sata cable, if still does not work ask a friend with a pc and have it tested in their pc, if problem is the same then that is a faulty drive already, hopefully you can still use Rma

the drive you are selecting might be faulty, to confirm this you need to try it with another pc and if the results are the same then the drive is no longer working

After converting it to new simple volume can i still install os on it ? I do this thing and when i tried to install windows OS on may m.2 sata i cant install it ses "we couldnt create mew partition or locate an existing one" is there a way to get it back to dynamic drive again?
delete any partition in the m.2 or format it in windows installation

check the drive if it is in the disk management because it might already be formatted, if you can't see it then the drive is faulty, use Rma if so

Yo, i have a hdd and just recently installed the ssd and initialized it like in the video, and tried moving games and files into it, its still in the hdd, and when i do, my laptop will not have the files, do i need to do any bios setup or anything? because ive been stuck with this problem for days with very little help lol

but anyway what i meant was that wven when i was moving apps from hdd to ssd,

How do you get windows to boot off of the ssd? I used macrium to clone my hdd and changed boot orders but all I got was a black screen when I set ssd to priority
try to remove your old boot drive and leave the ssd, clear cmos then boot the system

is your os in HDD? the motherboard is probably detecting the fastest drive as primary boot. try this out so your mobo will find the drive that has os in it ruclips.net/video/S9hyEPTFR10/видео.html

What if I want to make my second nvme ssd my new boot drive?
go to bios and set the new nvme as primary boot. btw you have to remove your old boot drive in the system less this won't work

@@cornymiller7679 you can as long as the old ssd has no os in it. or you could also remove the old ssd for the meantime while you install windows in the new one. this will make the new ssd as primary boot

the drive might be faulty, have it tested in a different pc to double check, use Rma if the results are the same

most motherboard nowadays should be able to detect the m2 right away but you are using an old motherboard you might need to enable that in bios
