You're a lifesaver. I know next to nothing about PCs, which is probably why I had to buy a 2TB SSD immediately after ordering a custom-built PC with only 512GB SSD rather than the 2TB SSD I had meant to order. I never thought I'd be able to actually do this stuff on my own, but your video was completely straightforward, not intimidating at all, very well explained, and well-paced. Thanks so much :)

I want to say exactly the same with An Louise. I used to know stuff about pc about 20 years ago. I ordered a pc for my son and I never expected to manage to put an extra ssd NV me on my own. But with your help I did it ! Thank you . Your language was very comprehensive even for foreigners! Greetings from Greece 😊

Feels good doesn't it? & the PC space sure has a 🐇 🕳 of other avenues too. I def contemplated ordering a pre built because it is still a hassle if not experienced/careful, but also allows you to really see under the hood. Like I didnt even realize my motherboard has what, 4 NVMe slots?! I'm building mine atm(finishing it 2nite) w/a 4080 SUPER & i7 13700k. Never used NVMe drives B4. Also got a regular SSD as well

I was panicking because I thought my new drive was broken, since it was "undetected" (didn't show up in explorer lmao). Weird that I would think that since I already installed another one previously. Anyway, this video was a nice and quick refresh for my memory.

Close the app and then open it again, it should show you that you need to restart the ssd, after you restarted it, you should be able to click on the "new simple volume" option. That's what I did

Thanks a lot - I was concerned at first because my NVMe did not show up as "Unassigned" like yours did - I had to scroll down first. So if there is anyone with a similar issue just scroll down and you will see the unassigned partition.
So happy to finally follow a guide where it actually works lol!

I gave you a Thumbs Down for your bait and switch tactic. The title implies that you can find the workaround for putting an NVME into a Sata M.2 port. You also state "If you can insert it into the M.2 port, then you can use it." At no point in this video did you address any way to do this. Most motherboards have two M.2 ports, but only one will take an NVME card. Shame on you.
