Great vid! Always interesting seeing how S&C/Strength Training varies across different athletes when you guys share this stuff. For example Phily and Allie both have quite different workouts. I'm lucky to have a PT who makes me, a very amateur runner, do this important stuff! I much prefer the compound lifting but the simple things, like split squats, are so good for runners. I've tried skater squats and a lack of ankle moblity and balance make them pretty un-fun! Might have a chat with PT about trying them again though - will never nail hem if we don;t try them!

When do you schedule your strength training? Same day you do hard workout or not?
Some people do but I tend to do mine the day after a hard workout so I’m not stressing my body too much on one day 🙌🏼💪🏼

Hello!! Yes! I tend to do a little bit of core each day when I do my activation exercises before I run 🙌🏼💪🏼
How often would you switch up the strength exercises you do?
Roughly every 8 weeks 🙌🏼but at the start of getting back to training, like now, I’ll probably change this after 4 weeks :)
After doing strength training along with my runs... I improved my speed and stamina. Finally broke sub-5min kilometer. 😂
