- Ezio requested Yusuf to protect his love interest, Sofia Sartor, from harm. Yusuf agreed, and he and the other Assassins guarded Sofia's residence.
Sofia's shop was soon raided by? Byzantine Templars, who had secretly been working for Prince Ahmet. Yusuf faced off against the Templars inside the store, and managed to eliminate many of them. However, he was eventually dealt a fatal blow, and Sofia was taken captive by the remaining attackers.

Shit will happen!
Eh not much happens pretty much everyone crosses them and jack shit happens. There just gonna do it again anyways.

Lord Vader Having *just* started AC # today, I now know this. Still, you can't blame the assumption! The 'historical' Achilles is absolutely someone who would've been involved with either the Assassins or Templars!

As soon as that speech was over you know shit's about to go down.
I actually consider Ezio and Yusuf as "brothers not in blood but in bond."
Yusuf and Ezio are very badass
Though i consider Leonardo as Ezio´sbrother not in blood, Yusuf seems to stand out here...bet still they are both badass
I consider yusuf as Ezio's son....
they are brothers in some way if you think about it
"the blood of the Covenent is stronger then the water of the womb"
In the novel it says Ezio was on the brink of tears.
Same tho
Because he felt like he lost another brother again
probably the first time he had cried in years because Ezio after his family's execution hardened his heart to the point where he couldn't even fall in love until 40 years later.
@@michaelkean5969 I think that happened after the death of Cristina. Even after all those years Ezio still loved Cristina, but since he was an Assassin he knew that Cristina wouldn't be safe being with him so he let her go.
I also think that he was at least in love with Catarina, but as she said, for her it was just politics. You can hear Ezio's disappointment when she says this.
And than came Sofia the woman he gave his life as an Assassin up for. With Cristina Ezio was most of that period bliden by his thirst for revenge, with Catarina it was (again) politics and finally near the twilight of his life, Ezio met Sofia and decided to settle down after this final mission that was tied to his father.
What there is a book about revelations whoa
the way he talked to the assassin's it was full of anger
He’s tired of it all. At this point the man just wants to finish his fight and settle down finally
Of all the deaths in Assassin's Creed games, this was the one that broke my heart the most because I just fell in love with this character. He was so playful and happy; it was like watching a child die when he died.
that was one of the few characters i really felt connected to in this series... i always hope that theirs a chance that maybe he will be a playable character in one of the other games but im always let down...on the bright side theres a likely possibility that he might be in the new movie
Jeffrey Abarca requiescat in pace ...is italian , i love ezio accent
@Jeffrey Abarca Requescatinpace.

Same bro
When I first started AC Revelations I thought Yusuf would appear in almost every mission, it was not like that, he appeared in some, but they were enough to make me really enjoy the character.
When I saw him sitting in that bench the first time, I thought he was just tired from killing all those byzantines, I was wrong.
I was so fucking sad that he died, he was probably thinking about Ezio in his final moments, in how he failed to protect Sofia.
Requiescat in Pace, fratello mio.
This was one of the saddest moments for me in whole Assassin's Creed series.
The most epic mission in whole AC franchise. Requiescat in pace Yusuf :'(
Remember this people? When we were assassin's and not an rpg character kicking people ten feet away and swinging flaming swords
Preach it brother.
Greatness has left Assassin's Creed behind for the most part, sadly. I just finished Horizon Zero Dawn, a game that found that greatness. Some devs just burn out.
Ezio didn’t even cared about reading that letter that was hanging in the dagger
All he cared about is to give his condolences to yusuf and vengeance.
That shows Ezio is fearless, no matter what
That was a letter? I thought it was the dagger’s cross guard.
I remember going bezerk during this mission
I just did this mission and I swear it made me look like I was into it and had to settle it personal xD
+Jeffrey Abarca you also had all of your assasins trainees it was total chaos, I can't think of any recent Ac game that gives you this feeling. The mission after Maria was killed also was awesome
Same
peace is not an option sry for that meme but yeah i was gettin every last of them as they flee in terror i would hunt every one of them down
We all showed no mercy
*0:41** The way Ezio got extremely angry is almost scary. Never take the life of a man's best friend.*
This is the first scene I cried in, in Assassins Creed. The music, the voice acting, the lighting, everything was pitch perfect.
What i absolutely hate is the fact that all those guards were killed, and yusuf was stabbed in the back.
Yusuf must have fended them off like the badass he was, so the cowards killed him by attacking him from his blindside.
Actually if you wanna get historical he was likely already dead before that knife with the note was put in his back it was more of a message type thing like a display of power like “I just killed your man and took your girl and I left a knife in your dead friends back”
Ever since this cut scene, I vowed to rain hell over their little cave like a ghost, any Templar I found, I'd end there life on site, by the way, anybody else believe that the the Templars and assassins are secretly still alive
The templars live on........ Sadly the assassin brotherhood died out after the mongols came and stormed their stronghold
mckennon taylor actually, history says that both brotherhoods fell
mckennon taylor Someone rebuild their stronghold
***** yeah, if u played assassin's creed unity, one of the little side stories where u play as a Templar, one of the conversations went like Grand Master: it's the assassins Solider: but I thought that they were wiped out by the mongol invasion, Grand Master: the assassins are much older Masyaf, so assassins could possibly still be alive, just more deadly and secretive then before, but also the templar order could still be poking around posing as a big ass company
I think bill gates is a templar tbh
This is actually the last time he says "requiescat in pace", he refuses to pick up the Apple in Altair's library because of the loss of Yusuf and the promise of a new life with Sofia
swingmattuk last time was for Altair
A very unwise decision considering all the doors to that vault were already opened through his keys. If anything he should've at least taken the apple and hid it elsewhere, for no one to find.
He and Ezio were like brothers I actually cried when I was playing this game for the first time I feel so bad for Ezio he almost lost everything and everybody
Yusuf is one living legend and best friend too for ezio
Living..?
Ezio _turns around_
"Brothers, where were you 15 minutes ago!?"
I really love it when Ezio rally the assassins to show their enemies what it's mean to cross The Assassins, they really showed them.
You got the entire Turkish Brotherhood on your command, as it was shown later in the mission you have an infinite amount Assassins Recruit bars. Brothers and sisters in arms unite together to ultimately swarm the Ottoman Port, showing no mercy to any soldiers who oppose them. Slicing through waves of Ottomans without remorse even the infamous elite soldiers, Jannisaries, lies dead at their blades.
Must be one terrifying sight to be an Ottoman soldier at that event. Dozens of hooded soldiers scaling your walls at a synchronized pace, you saw them at the corner of your eyes jumping in the air as if they are flying in the sky , and when your eyes finally trace them, you only see your dead friend.
Ezio: ''Fight with me and show him what it means to cross the Assassins!!!''
Shivers every fucking time........
man yusuf was one of the best "when were you ever young!"
when ive heard that 1 time i had tears in my eyes and chills af. This is what means to be ASSASSIN CREED
i was so attached to yusuf i wholeheartedly believed he was going to appear in the future games but nope he died on a chair
I considered Yusuf to be Ezio's "brother from another mother", and not just simply a "brother" because they share the same loyalty to the Assassin Order. There were times the dynamic between him and Ezio felt much like the dynamic between Federico and Ezio (at the start of AC2). So....... yet another tragic loss for Ezio..... one that I must admit to making my blood boil! (The only other game that ilicited the same response within me was Mafia 2.)
Requiescat en pace, Yusuf Tazim da Istanbul.
This scene just sent shivers down my spine, not just becasue Yusuf was my favourite character, but because he just called out Ezio and all of the Assassins, never a good idea ...
....and the lesson for today is "Never fuck with Ezio Auditori".
Yes and not to mess with the Brotherhood
+Sora The Keyblade Master And never EVER cross the Assassins.
readsomebooks666 true true
The mission directly after this speech was the best in the game. Felt like a badass storming the arsenal with the assassins in tow
Who disliked this was a templar
Requiescat in pace Ezio's enemies. lol
Jeffrey Abarca Uncle Mario never taught you that. He taught you to show respect!
I went totally Berserk after this scene!
Oh you know you Fucked up when even Ezio is pissed off
I had to watch this right after Ezio's first speech at the start of Assassin's Creed II. Holy smokes, such an incredible journey.
He.. reminded me of Federico. Requiescet in pace, fratello.
He gave his life protecting the innocent and truly heroic way to go out
the best thing about this scene is that when ezio pulls the knife off yusufs back he doesnt even look at the letter attached to it - he momentally pays respect to his dead brother
Yusuf is where i am from.I just understand the words he says in Turkish...and this what makes me feel bad...An assassin that i will never forget...Rest in peace..Yusuf
Before this cut scene, you can actually see assassins all around the shop and even on the roofs. As if they were already holding a vigil
The moment i read this i’ve already can remember those scene clearly
This hit me so hard, Yusuf is the funny guy and always playful and positive, miss him so much.
I can`t believe how old this game already is.... to this date Ezio Auditore is my favorite Assassin.
Ezio pissed is honestly kinda scary
Love how Ezio doesn't even dare read the note... Truly such a emotional/Badass scene I miss from this franchise 😪
this was the first time i wasnt driven by the credo i was driven by rage and bloodlust
This was the death that made me angry when I played this game he didn't need to die like that. So after that scence I went from non lethal to lethal against all opponents even if they surrendered they had death. Rest in peace man the only death in ac to actually make me angry besides altair's wife death
Yusuf really gave it his all to protect sofia. He was a lion. And like ezio I took it very personally.
Brother from another mother is how I describe Yusaf and Ezio’s Duo they always kill the best characters 😢
I got so pissed at this point in the game I stopped playing. How could they kill off Yusuf?????
such a cool speech with epic music. i was so sad when he died
Goosebumps moments
Let's just create a new assassin brothehood (after the hashashins) and eliminate every person thats a danger to our society and in making this world a better place
I remember crying over this back in 2011 (crying rn while playing this mission in ezio collection)
You have my sword!
Yusuf died protecting his mentor's girl.
I have earned my rest. :'(
OH MY GAWD WHY I CRIED SO MUCH AT THIS MOMENT.
i dont know what was inside me when i watched this video, fury or sadness
I completely lost my shit in this mission
Spoken like a Boss!
Damn! This hits hard
I haven't even played this game, but its sad. Its like Ezio is tired of having to say "Requiescat in pace"
He was good friend to exio
With that music and speech you some shit is about to go down!
Requiescat in pace fratello mio
Apart from the fact that they are so desperate and angry they might be persuaded to join with the Templars? Apart from that I get your point
Ezio has the best secondary characters in all AC games (my opinion), but Yusuf is my favourite of them all
When AC was good in both past and present timeline
He didn’t even bury him…
he did
Didn't he?
@@Diamondisunbreakable1 source
Its in the creed. *don't compromise the brotherhood*
In "The Lost Archives" DLC we find out that she was working with templars. Her mission was to get Apple of Eden. That's why she was killed.
Who?
@@ezioauditore6371 Lucy, the chick that rescues Desmond in the first game
DON'T! EVER! PUT! THAT! IMAGE! IN! MY! HEAD! Shaun is my favorite character! Ezio's family's death was fine, I didn't know them. Mario's death was a little saddening. I returned AC:R before Yusuf's death. Shaun's death would be WAY TO MUCH!
Song is: You Have Earned Your Rest
No AC protagonist was as charismatic as Ezio.
yup. But if Sophia wasn't there, Yusuf hasn't got to protect her.
It would be fucking epic if in a scene Ezio spoke with Desmond, not only seeing him. Bought the game for that scene to happen. Awesome freakin' game still.
Yusuf earn his rest and this moment is the reason I let no Templars and Stalker live. For Yusuf
oh please.. not again.. damn ninjas cutting onions.
We didn't even see Yusuf much in this game. Its not sad that he died.
this comment is over used but i too experience shivers every time
they had pissed him off now..
It's called "You have earned your rest". It's on RUclips. ;)
Yusuf never deserved to die...
Requiescat in Pace...
First play through I had know Idea he would die but now I look back on it it was obvious since everyone dies in ac
Requiescat in Pace Yusuf.
I almost cried when Yusuf died. It was so sad to see him go so soon and in such a sad way.
I freakin' laughed and cried of joy when Selim dropped that little bitch Ahmet to his death. Rot in hell, bastardo.
"You have earned you rest, brother. Requiescat in pace, Yusuf Tazim da Bursa."
I hate the fact that I cant use White Masyaf when I use the Mastaer Assassin armour
requiescat in pace old friend
yusuf was pretty cool :(
best moment in the game
* Should have been Yusuf Tazim da Bursa.
Although sad, we have to face the truth. He was going to die either ways. I too miss Yusuf. He was a funny, cheerful person. But this is life.
YUSUF ABEEEEEEEEEY :(((
After this I killed all the god damned Templars! Rest In Peace Yusuf.
Relax, he has no proof to back that up. I mean, his comment WAS posted months ago, WAY before AC3 came out (AC3 being the first AC game to actually invole Desmond's father, excluding AC:R's ending).
i thought leonrado was like a brother
i dont know they had a good bond
Actually Ezio dies from being poisoned by a Templar Agent. Watch Assassin's Creed Embers.
damm you Templars!!!! Yusuf was like the coolest, why does he have to die???
😭😭😭 yusuf
woohoo he's pissed!
REQUIESCAT IN PACE
