- This was from a forever ago on my Playstation, but I am currently making my own content so I would love for you guys to check it out. I'm making more and more videos.

No other assassins creed was as good as the Ezio story. Black flag isn’t bad but isn’t great either, same with Valhalla. Assassins creed 2 is one of the best games of all time, great characters and antagonists, probably going to reply those games after this video

To me, Revelations was more Altaïr's story than it was Ezio's. Ezio simply spent his time in this game seeking the knowledge left behind by Altaïr while we learned alot more about how Altaïr lived, what he endured, and the conclusion to his story. Ezio even ends up quoting Altaïr himself when he realizes the truth and says "I have seen enough for one life." Revelations was more of Altaïr's story than any other.
Altair: “I wish I could have told myself ‘I’ve seen enough for one lifetime’”
Ezio: “I’ve seen enough for one timeline.”
Ezio: "I can swim and glide through the air, what can you do?"
Altair: "Witness" *Unzips pants*
Ezio: *Inferiority complex maximizes*
Desmond: "Why do people keep making me see all these lifetimes."

Yes and when the new Assassin creed game did something similar like this I cringed. You just meet your ancestor and have a conversation like nothing is odd or amazing.
@@svb_zer0318 At this point who cares about blood relations, he quite literally calls the man brother because they are brothers in arms. If I can adopt a person and wholeheartedly call them my child, despite no blood relation, then so can he.
Altair had such a sad ending. Dead in a vault, alone without the people who loved him. By contrast, Ezio was with the people he loved most when he died.

@@irusan_san dude watch assassin's creed embers again he died of heart attack i know but the thing which trigger the heart attack was the poison which was injected into Ezio by that templar boy who came and sit beside Ezio cursing florence.
Part of me honestly wishes that Ezio and Desmond could hold a conversation...to have Ezio be filled with pride in the knowledge that his bloodline survives for so long, hell I wish Altair would've been able to die with that knowledge.

There was gonna be a game where we play as Desmond and travel in time to learn and be trained by ezio and Altair but it got leaked so they had to change it

Crazy how ezio was in the middle of it all and had done so many things to make sure everything was just right for everybody...And at the end just to realize he was just a conduit to a problem/solution bigger then his whole life that he ended up sacrificing most of just to see.
He still helped many people throughout his life and has influenced the Brotherhood more than he could ever know

this line wasn't only ezio speaking to desmond, but also the entire AC1 and AC2 saga speaking to us players. hence why that specific part hits so damn hard for players of both.

Yup, looking at the new AC games now, like Origin and Odyssey and especially the new upcoming Valhalla, no matter how great of games they are, they just don't feel like Assassin's Creed at all.

@@manzariat7523 I'm Sorry to say, i'd same opinion about it but i watched a video about these all stories are connected and tbh i'm shocked that how tf did they do it, ezio voice is in the Valhalla "WHO ARE YOU" when halla(Odin) visited some girl whose can hear the voices of future at that scene scene goes black after it you can hear who are you in ezio's accent
AC2 - Revelations was the pinnacle of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
It wasn't the best game-wise, but this scene was the high-point of the series. Brought everything together beautifully.

Valhalla is classic Assassin’s Creed
It's kind of sad that Ezio only thought of himself as merely a conduit to deliver the message to the future WITHOUT knowing that his descendant will be the receiver .

Altair kept digging himself deeper into his purpose, until he was consumed in a tomb of his own making.
Connor tried to be more that was meant for him, in the end he was left with a hollow victory, to endure the melancholy of failing his people. To forever be gnawed in doubt.
Ezio on the other hand... he had the humility to know when to stop, even if exhausted, he had definetly the strenght and will power to keep going. But he simply chose to move on, even if he was just a messenger, all he had achieved to secure that purpose filled his life and erased all self doubt.
Ezio meets the great assassins of the long past and of the far future.
Not far future, cause Desmond never got to prove himself as a great ass assassin because he sacrificed himself, people say hes alive but I doubt ubisoft ever going to bring him back
@@AkemiNinjitsu Hmm, I think he proved himself to be a great assassin. I mean, did you even see Desmond in AC3 take out a bunch of guards in Abstergo Industries with only a hidden blade and knife? He can also use the Apple of Eden without getting corrupted by it. Plus, he has the knowledge of Altaïr, the abilities of Ezio, and the strength of Ratonhn:hakéton.
@@AkemiNinjitsu he is a proven great assassin, as he has the teachings and capabilities of Altair, Ezio and Conner, plus the blood of many other assassins in him. Thanks to the bleeding effect he is one of the, if not the, most effective assassins in history. If it weren't for the 2012 disaster he would have been able to change things for the assassins.
Desmond acquired Altair's knowledge and Ezio's skills, but he did not prove himself as an Assassin, because he did nothing for the Order technically at present, besides killing Vidic, the assassins remained in the same position regarding his power, Altair, Ezio and Connor did much more in order. Although I consider Desmond the best person in the saga, he refused to be a God, and sacrificed himself to give humanity an opportunity, he was not the best assassin, but he was the best person

The sheer amount of Respect for Ezio that Desmond had witnessing his entire life and achievements was probably overwhelming. I can't imagine how hyped he was when Ezio put his hand on his shoulder.
Altair is the most legendary assassin ever, and ever will be. He died serving for the brotherhood just so the templars cannot get reach of the piece of eden in Altair's hand. I would never chosen to live in the vault for days just so the enemies dont get touch with an important artifact
I'm pretty sure he died as soon as he sat down. Living until you're 92 in the 13th century was impossible. It was the apples power keeping him alive all that time.
Most of the assassins died serving the brotherhood...

Man I remember when I played this the first time, such a powerful moment to witness Altair's death and Ezio finding him...and when Ezio spoke Desmond's name my mind was blown. It was surreal. At this point Assassin's Creed truly was incredible with its storytelling and the character development of its protagonists. Too bad it never reached these levels again.

The thing about being an Assassin is that apart from being a badass, your life always seems too short
it is a life of duty, one that will take all your life before you know it
Altair lived his whole life as assassin, ever tending to his order and the apple, died regretting that he should have let go and pass down his mantle to another
Ezio was fortunate that for all the suffering he had in the past, was able to let go, have a family and died by their side
Ironically most assassins we played with reached third age.

Oh man that was the best moment in my life I really felt like Ezio was talking to me through Desmond, for a minute I cried but then I knew that I can't cry now as I have one more game to complete one more journey to complete and once more achieve 100% sync

Man...when Ezio started, the Assassin's were in a bad way. Templars dominated all over the place. By the end of his 40 or so years of existence, Ezio had rebuilt the Assassin's all over the world (if you look at him sending his recruits to big cities). He took back the huge cities of Italy, including Rome and the Papacy. He helped drive them out of the Ottoman Empire. Then, about 200 years after his death, the Assassins were just in a brutal position.
Well, rebuilt them over southern Europe and northern Africa, not really the whole world, hence why it's called Mediterranean defense.
And I guess China because of Chronicles.

Central europe, mediterranean England have always been the center of the world, and back then itsly was leading europe and Ezio took down the templar order in italy, france, germany and London, so the entire europe with excluding russia had a very weak templar rule
@@Trathien- what are you talking about? What of the hundred years war between France and England? The invasion of Moscow? The Kalmar Union? The muslims attacking Christian kingdoms in Africa? The Japanese civil war during the Sengoku period?
Now I'll ignore the Americas since we're talking about the Assassin's and the Brotherhood wasn't there yet, but the Brotherhood WAS in Asia, hell one of Ezio's students was in China. The Mediterranean was a small fraction of the old world, and while it was it's center, it was far from the entirety of it. Northern France, England and Scottland, the Russian Principalities, China and Japan, and much of Africa are all just examples of other parts of the old world where notable and important things occurred.

This was done so perfectly, normaly i would think an ancestor contacting its descendant is pure BS but the form they delivered this in is really touching.
Wasn't the original story for Desmond after 6 games that he would become the greatest assassin ever and travel through time...

This truly was the end of an era. Not just for Ezio and Altair but for Assassin's Creed. I stopped playing when I tried out Origins, which is not a bad game, it just wasn't Assassin's Creed. I realized by that point that the franchise was going in a different direction, that my era had ended years ago. It was a sad feeling to recognize that I was waiting for something that would never come back. And it's a shame, because I know that AC could have pulled off a grand conclusion if it wasn't for the need for money by the corporations.

One should never mourn the passing of a man who went out on his own terms. Rather they should celebrate his life as that was his greatest treasure. Altair was the greatest assassin of his time, and no one can take that away from him. I know he is a fictional character, and me personally I like Ezio much more, there is no denying the impact that Altair had on the course of history in this world. So let's continue to celebrate him. As well as Ezio. 👍

I love this ending so much. I grew up with Altair and Ezio and to see Altair fall then pick himself up but ultimately lose himself was heart breaking. Then seeing Ezio learn more and more from Altair and at the end didn't fall down the same path and pitfalls. Then to see Ezio become to wise to realize that his issues and his fight for a greater tomorrow will continue till tomorrow but pass on his wisdom to the one person who can make a difference. This wasn't a holy shit jump out my chair kind of thing. This is a holy shit in a somber, it's over kind of way. Rest in peace to Altair, Ezio and now Desmond! Yall made my childhood something to remember.

Ok this entire video is good I like how Altair bits out the fires while ezio ignites then then as ezio finds the apple he decides to leave it knowing that his journey is at its end and he talks to Desmond at the end after he “met” Altair and it’s 3 separate generations of assassins meeting within 1 game and it’s the best I do wish we could have gotten another great trilogy after this

This, in my opinion, is the saddest and most powerful scene in Revelations.

@@Stupiddumbmanditoryhandle The reason games have long development times now has to do with two things usually. One, the resources required to make games now with fancy graphics, feel good mechanics, and a cohesive engine takes much more time nowadays. Second, many games end up with multiple higher ups going back and forth into what they want the game to actually be, many times halfway into the development that was scratched and thrown out, so work has to begin again on new and "better" projects within the games conception.
And this is why I favor The Ezio Collection more. And seeing the end of this. Seeing Altair’s death, Ezio finding him, and Ezio and Desmond finally meet. I’m like, genuinely shocked and crying to see that scene. I was just mind blown
And even, seeing those chairs all around the Library, I like see a vision seeing all the Assassin. Sitting there like Altair. Sitting for a moment to rest..
Ezio knows who Altair is, and knows that Desmond exists. Desmond knows about Ezio and Altair. And altair knows his bloodline must continue, but not who likely.

I remember the first time I've seen this, when Ezio said " Desmond? " my heart stopped for a second
Assassin's creed at this point reached a peak in storytelling, a message woven across centuries in genes of bloodlines, ezio leaving hopefully like the animus not just read those memories but even made new ones, like source code.

I will always remember what it was like to be apart of the brotherhood when I first played AC2 on PS3 I was fully into the game and that’s why i’m making the Ezio collection apart of my platinum list playing on PS5

I miss when AC was like this. Full of emotion, great story, and protagonists you felt connected to.

I'm not late to this game.. I just replayed it again, and every time this scene plays, it makes me feel proud to have played both altair and ezio.. Amazing games man...
Just finished ac2 for the first time since launch, going through ezio trilogy. I think biggest 'new' feeling I'll have is revelations, I think I was too young to understand majority of that one. Will be good to play them again.

Assassin's Creed is divided into three Timeline
1. Altaïr's Timeline - AC1 and Ezio Trilogy
2. Edward Kenway's Timeline - AC4 BF, AC Rogue, AC3, AC Unity, AC Syndicate
3. Alexios's Timeline - AC Odyssey, AC Origins
There were no numbered titles after Black Flag. If you're going to number them by their release then you're off by two for everything passed the Ezio trilogy.

@@MrSlimy-ct8wyshe is indeed, Kassandra is canon in odyssey but as per the data released by Ubisoft more than 55% players chose Alexios as the protagonist, but truth is Kassandra was the one who lived for a whole millennium, just to wait so that she can give the thing she was saving for so much longer.
Kassandra and Female Eivor is the SJW Canon. We all know it was Alexios and Male Eivor.

Tbh, after the death of altair, I cried inside a lot and got a lot sad outside. This ending is a great masterpiece. Hope other future assassin's Creed game have the same awesome endings like this which will literally move people to tears.

I beat Assassin’s Creed: Revelations just a few days ago. I was playing this for 4 years. I feel so nostalgic watching this last mission for the second time.
Had goosebumps when AC1 soundtrack started playing in this section.

This ending always gave me chills because of how meta it feels. It really would be nice to see the original trio all together in the same space working with one another (Desmond, Altaïr and Ezio) to fight a greater threat, kinda like No Way Home but for Assassin's Creed

In an alternative universe, Assassin's Creed Revelations was still released as a 3DS game called Assassin's Creed: Lost Legacy. Ezio's, Desmond and Altair journey definitely would have been different.

AC as a franchise failed to fulfill the promise that these Ezio titles so expertly set up. This was such a moving conclusion for a character we spent years playing and I remember being so pumped to see where it finally led. Annnnd then AC3 happened
thats the main problem with replaying memories they always end and you have to go to the menu and select the next mission

Notice Altair was extinguishing the flames as he entered the vault when Ezio was reigniting them. Nice detail
This scene alone is honestly better than anything with the animus in Odyssey and Valhalla. Those scenes were so casual, corny and lame. While here it's significant that Ezio understands who Desmond is even if he doesn't understand how. Like someone from the actual past would.
