this was also a reference from the developing team to the players, that they are the ones that came before, they created this, giving us a message that they are now dead and no more, it's all up to us.
i mean, this hits so deep when knowing what happened to the franchise since ubisoft got taken over and the entire AC franchise got over taken as well.
to this day all AC franchises that have been release since, have desperately tried to tie this moment up with all other games, to make it seem like just some mumbo jumbo in the game and take away the real message from the developers to the players that happened in this moment.

This whole game is a message to the players and to the world.. they are warning us. AC is one of the highest selling games ever. They are trying to tell you a message, about our past And future.. I cant believe no one else can see what i see the developers are pushing in this series. They know the truth and they are showing you right in your face and blind people still cannot see. "You may not comprehend us but you will comprehend our warning" who are you talking to? Our message is not for you" very creepy.. they are telling us the earths true history and it flies over all your guys heads. This whole game is very true and prophetic. Theres been two forces fighting for the control of earths destiny for centuries. 2 sets of E.T.s maybe? Both Allied with humans? Either malevolent or benevolent? The apple of EDEN was aka the ark of the covenant. A very powerful device with infinite power. Think of it as a singuarlity in a crystal ball. A mini universe with all sorts of capabilities. Anti gravity, healing, destruction, Thats what was in the sarcafagus of the great pyramid. And has been the reason for most if not all of the major wars in history. Moses left with it from egypt, then Jesus was born or baptized in the vicinity of this object and had super DNA. Hitler was looking for it. The all seeing eye represents the keepers of this object. Its here in America.. when the templars found it during the crusades and left europe with it. thats why they were fought in the first place the Ark IS the holy grail its not some stupid cup. It goes deeper than u can possibly imagine. You had all the right to be scared when she looked at the camera warning you! Very eerie indeed. But oh its just a video game right? If u can comprehend what im saying look up Nassim haramein and the ark here on YT and youll find out.

The insanity of this revelation isn't just that Minerva spoke to Desmond through Ezio across centuries of time, but the fact that she wasn't seeing into the future. She calculated it and anticipated nearly every major event to come before the 2nd disaster to befall the earth

A way to destroy what could have been an absolute storytelling masterpiece in the gaming history - Assassin's creed in current timeline, Desmond becoming an assassin and trying to save the world, while fighting modern templars. Instead we have the garbage now that looks more like a DLC than an actual game every year.

MASSIVE for lore fans here: In the Saga of the Snows, the shattered mirror in "A Feast to Remember" is literally THIS moment when Ezio says "Who are you?" Eivor nearly saw this moment happen through the lens of Norse mythology while reliving Odin's memories in her visions!

  • @lyndongaming

Minerva is gunlodr. In Valhalla we see Gunlodr experimenting with "magic" and trying to talk to the future, what we see here in this AC2 scene is the other side of that conversation.
The only difference is, the Asgard arc that we see in Valhalla is just Eivors recreation based on her Mythology, so Minerva gets converted to Gunlodr and the setting and technology becomes all norse-like, and this isn't what the actual appearances of the characters/locations/technology were like

Years after I played AC2 I realized why this episode shook me the most (despite there was plenty of gems in this game).
Ezio bypasses the accomplishments of his father and all the assassins of the past to encounter ancient gods and reach the deepest secrets of mankind and beyond.
He gets so close to reveal and solve every damn question of eternity AND YET he gets rejected when Minerva suddenly starts talking to Desmond.
And at this moment I got swamped by the feeling of fragility of a single human, no matter how great in terms of humanity he is.
Life of a man is finite, it has it’s top point of importance, and the main great Quest will never be complete.
And then you immediately understand that you just witnessed Ezio’s top point.
A mixed feeling of awe and regret at the same time.
    Splendid work, Ubisoft.
