I like Ezio's lines the most. It shows his character, humility, and wisdom. In my opinion, his character suits the Assassins' way more than any other assassin in the franchise, even more than Altair's. - (To Machiavelli about writing a book on Ezio) "If you do, make it short." - "We think we are unique because we think none has faced the same kind of situation." AC: Revelations also has many amazing lines - "I have seen enough for one life..." - "Who are we to have been so blessed to share our stories like this?" - "My story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon." (This one is my favorite) All these lines are proof of why he is a legendary assassin. He killed countless men throughout his life and he knows that his life is also just as insignificant in the grand scheme of things, just like everyone else. While all his life he is seeking purpose, he is wise enough to let go of his ego. Ezio didn’t see himself as any more special than other people in the world. It's this humility that made his story the best in the franchise and made his final moment carry so much meaning.

Ok, but you missed one thing: Ezio and Sofia had daughter named Flavia and SON named Marcello. Besides you should say something about Ezio's siblings, Claudia for example. She's an assassin too. Claudia is a leader of order in Rome, what makes her very important person. If you talk about assassins from Desmond's family, than say something about ALL of them.
I initially thought this was just the people Desmond was descended from, but that excuse was shattered when they brought up Mario. I mean, Desmond has more Bernard Kenway in him than Mario Auditory. :P Then there is Jennifer Scott who was also overlooked. Not an Assassin, but certainly relevant to both Edward and Haytham's story.
You know who can still show up in future Assassin’s Creed games? Desmond’s mum. Despite hearing her voice in The Lost Archive, we never saw her. Bill had a different voice in Brotherhood too I’m still curious about the rest of Connor’s life. Who was the woman he hooked up with, how did he die? Revelations showed us the end of Altaïr. A short film called Embers showed us the end of Ezio. No end to Connor? I got Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed Liberation, Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Rogue, Assassin’s Creed Unity, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on PlayStation 4. I wouldn’t mind getting the original on PS4 too.
William Groves that would be cool. He’d be older than Altaïr’s age of death, but maybe he can do it. A precursor artifact sure gave Kassandra long life
Connor settled down with some native american woman in which they had some kids and continue his work as a mentor for the Assassins of the North American Branch.
So, this video came out after the release of Odyssey, and I don't know if Desmond being descended from any of Bayek, Aya, Alexios, or Kassandra has been confirmed or denied... or if it's even relevant. Even if he was descended from any of them, the events of those games happened so long ago it would probably be difficult to tell where they fit into any modern-day Assassin's family trees (my guess is most assassins and templars are descended from at least one of them due to the exponential generational growth over the course of ~2-3 thousand years). Now that that's out of the way... However, Arno and the Frye twins are more recent. I would say it's unlikely that the Fryes are closely related to Desmond (unless it's closely related to his mother) because I would doubt Connor or his descendants would've gone back to England during the Victorian Era. And then there's Arno. Now, I don't have anything to back this up, and maybe someone else can inform me if this has been confirmed or denied. But my theory is that Arno is a descendant of Ezio. The Arno River is the one that flows through Florence after all. And we can't ignore the close ties the French royalty had with the Medici. It's not too far-fetched that the Medici and the Auditorres would be family friends for generations and that some of them stuck together even when they left Florence. Let's return to the idea of the exponential generational growth thing. There's about 1,500 years between the events of AC2 and Origins. If you assume that every generation is separated by 25-50 years (meaning 30 to 60 generations in those 1,500 years), then Ezio has between 1 billion to 1 quintillion (2 parents for every generation you go back, i.e. 2 to the power of 30 or 60) ancestors that were alive during the time in which Origins took place. When you think of it this way, it's possible for the every major character in every Assassin's Creed game that takes place after AC2 to be descended from all three of Bayek, Aya, and Alexios/Kassandra. You can actually assume this about your own family tree as well. Highly recommend Real Life Lore's video Why You're Related to Everybody Else.
Actually only the Templars were looking for the apple in the first game, the assassins blindly followed their mentor not knowing he was seeking knowledge and power, they were betrayed. Then altair took it upon himself to hide the knowledge in a vault. The Ezio started running in circles finding knowledge just to hide it.

@Robert Andrews I don't know where you heard that, but as someone who played AC II several times and read on the lore several times, I can confirm that Ezio is 16 and Desmond's common ancestor, it says so in the story. They first caught a glimpse of Ezio through 16's DNA, but the connection wasn't as strong as it was through Desmond.
I love Ezio's series. I loved how we saw his journey till the end and I love the game features. I wish some of those features cud be in the newer ones. I think Ezio was a true bad ass! After watching 'embers' I felt a bit more at ease knowing what happened after revelations.
Can’t count how many time I squinted at the sound of “Connor Kenway.” His name is Connor, never took on Kenway. Plenty of reasons why he would never call himself a Kenway. He’s a strong Mohawken Colonial Assassin.

@@dieauferstehung yeah you're right, in ac3 dlc he says his grandpa was the legendary Edward Kenway and even connor children took on the name Kenway, he didn't took the name Kenway but he gave his children the kenway name
@Jeb Bush That was at the end of Black flag, and it doesn't prove that she knew about Connor or about Assassins and Templars, although the latter is very likely.
SparkZ she knew about both assassins and templars and their conflict, haytham was meant to be an assassin before birch made him Templar. Jennifer knew it and was jealous of him for it. When she grew older in captivity, haytham found and freed her and from then on they exchanged letters, saying mostly typical things, but haytham was also informing her constantly about everything happening in the order and his views. She was also informed of her brother's death at the hands of his son, and had some views on the conflict herself. This is said in the unity and ac3(forsaken) books

"ibn La'Ahad" means "son of nobody". I get it in case of Altair- he was an orphan. But given Arabic naming customs his offsprings could not be named "ibn La'Ahad". They would have been called "ibn Altair" and "bint Altair".

I wouldn’t mind getting the original on PS4 too.
Maybe a AC game set in the Civil War would have old man Conner.
William Groves that would be cool. He’d be older than Altaïr’s age of death, but maybe he can do it. A precursor artifact sure gave Kassandra long life
@@williamgroves3134 Connor was born in 1756, he'd be past the age 100 by the time of the American civil war.
Connor settled down with some native american woman in which they had some kids and continue his work as a mentor for the Assassins of the North American Branch.
Mario Sanon was that in a comic book?
Ubisoft already confirmed that every protagonist after Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag is not an ancestor of Desmond.
Bro, Bayek and Aya didn’t have any children after their child died.
I genuinely think they should bring back Desmond, with resurrection lol

SparkZ she knew about both assassins and templars and their conflict, haytham was meant to be an assassin before birch made him Templar. Jennifer knew it and was jealous of him for it. When she grew older in captivity, haytham found and freed her and from then on they exchanged letters, saying mostly typical things, but haytham was also informing her constantly about everything happening in the order and his views.
