All the Hitler theory did was want a game set during WW2 following that story. Maybe your assassin infiltrates German high command and learns of Hitler and the templars or you’re a German officer who sees the dirty dealing between Hitler and the Templars and become disillusioned then have a fateful encounter with an assassin and it goes from there; both ending in the assassins executing Hitler
Not really the most lore accurate ending. Maybe go the Syndicate path and kill his goons that affect his empire until we fight him, but we spare him so he can rot in prison/ be captured but he then commits self shoot
I thought about a Russian assasin that worked for stalin and he must liberate the death camps and kill major nazis officers and at the end kill hitler then the protagonist realized after the war how evil stalin was and so he killed him
Ubisoft would never have you play as a German soldier in the 1930s-40s lmao. Maybe once when they actually had ambition and weren't absurdly safe with everything they made. I remember seeing AC2 namedropping Kraft foods as an Abstergo/Templar company and was mind blown. Would never happen today.
Realistically, Hitler would be a rogue third party, and either Churchill or Roosevelt would be a Templar or ex Templar and the other an assassin in tense alliance to beat this dangerous new third party. Hitler was against the existing global order and obsessed with the occult, but his only significant tie that lasted to any international organization was his membership in the holy fascist alliance (a pact between Hitler, Mussolini, and the pope)

I think I left a similar comment on another video of yours, but just because Ubisoft say that the franchises aren't connected doesn't mean they actually aren't. For example, Square Enix has claimed repeatedly that Drakengard/Drag-On Dragoon, Nier, and SinoAlice are entirely separate franchises that aren't connected at all - in fact, if you check out Grimoire Nier (the book explaining all the backstory and lore of Nier), the dragon appearing in Tokyo is alluded to very vaguely... even though that's literally the ending of Drakengard 1, and the dragon and its rider are that game's protagonists. Same goes for SinoAlice, the latest update to Nier: Reincarnation confirms that the settings of both games, the "Library" of SinoAlice and the "Cage" of Nier: Reincarnation are one and the same, and yet on paper they're standalone franchises - the SinoAlice artbook makes no mention of Nier, and the crossovers with it and Drakengard are considered non-canon. Honestly, I think it's just a weird legal thing. I'm not a lawyer, so don't quote me on this - but there could be very good reasons why Ubisoft need to legally cover their butts and avoid giving any lawyer the excuse to claim that Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed are actually the same franchise, should it come to that in court.
That does sound pretty reasonable. Maybe there's disputes with different ubisoft employees/ex employees that worked on both franchises, so they could've for the sake of legal reasons just said its not connected.
Great video! I’ve had a idea for a assassin’s creed game that involves 2 or 3 diff characters storylines (kind of like gta5 but not really) where the players characters are changing possibly dying and their story would seem to be separate until towards the end we see how it’s all interconnected.
I still think it would be plausible to take downloaded memories and place them in biologically cloned bodies via Isu Technology thus bringing the characters back to life. It'd be a good way to fix certain story left undone such as questioning/redeeming Lucy, Ezio meeting Desmond, the Kenways making amends, Arno finally fighting Shay and avenging his father, etc.
I don't know if it's rally conspiracy but I remember in one of the novels they explained the reason Cortes was able to conquer Tenochtitlan and the Aztec Empire so easily was because his blade was a piece of Eden and I think later in the story it gets passed down to Ulysses Grant which is how he was able to win the American Civil War
Since I don’t work for Ubisoft, I can only speculate…but… I suspect that they said it’s “just Easter eggs” because they don’t want people to expect a game where the two factions work together. Making a dlc that is a short story with the two interacting and committing to a full game involving that are two different things. It’s probably just not something they want to take on.
Imagine an assassins creed game during the mongol empire time and we see Genghis khan as a side character They can even make him as a templar grandmaster (according to me😅)
I have a theory about the Eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. My theory is that the eruption was caused by someone messing with a Piece of Eden like the one Shay accidentally set off that caused the Lisbon Earthquake.
I feel like with that last bit of that guy saying it’s just Easter eggs and aren’t linked as of WD2 would have been true but with WDL that statement would no longer be accurate as before it was small missable details but in Legion with the entire small section of the assassin character would prove that statement wrong as of like 2020-2022
Just a quick reminder to those who don't know what conspiracy theory means. Conspiracy theory doesn't mean "a theory that's automatically wrong". A conspiracy theory is simply a theory someone has about two people or a group of people who are plotting against another person or another group of people. Hence the term conspiracy. Conspiracy: Two or more people plotting against another person or group of people Theory: an idea used to account for a situation or justify a course of action.
I’ve heard the theory that Ubisoft is actually Abstergo. But I think a more likely theory is that Ubisoft is actually controlled by the Assassins, not the Templars/Abstergo. After all, given how the Templars *are the bad guys* in the AC games, wouldn’t it make more sense for the company making those games to be the Assassins?
Nope. I dont care what the developers say, the higher ups in Ubisoft say about the Watchdogs universe being separate from the AC universe. To me, they're connected. They're perfect as an interconnected universe.
Ill always connect AC and WD as it can be explained that the game mentioned in that data breach or the movie posters can all be seen as Abstergo making them to try and expose the Creed
There is a lot of untapped story involving the weird relationship between the Mad Monk - Rasputin & his relationship with Nicholas II & his wife, Alexandra. I'm not sure what side of the fight Rasputin would actually be on, but I assum the Templars. He became well known in Russia due to being very excentric with his beliefs of the afterlife & the fact that he helped heal the prince, who auffered from a free bleesing disease. There are a lot of rumors that he was actually pulling the royal strings at that time & convinced Nicholas II to go fight in the war & people speculate he did this because of a relationship he had with the Empress. Long story short, a few of Nicholas II's advisors were fed up with Rasputin & ordered him to be killed. The man was fed copius amounts of poison, was shot in the chest & castrated, then rolled up into a rug while being tied up. Well, his body was founs and he had untied himself and had water in his lungs (meaning he was still alive and fighting after all that)
Ac4 explains why no modern history AC games will happen. One reason given via email through the heads of abstergo entertainment, they mention that The catatonic state of people driving/flying in the animus can cause serious issues... in fact in that same email they explain quite a bit of what can and cant work in the animus.
Borris Pash was a real life American military official. He is notable for hating the Soviet Union and even killed many Russians. Most people would probably know him for investigating Robert Oppenheimer during the Los Alamos project even appearing in the Oppenheimer movie from last year.
It would be insane an AC in WWII. The dynamics between Hitler and the Templars, the use of the apple for mass control, assassins infiltrated in the reich and strugling to win the war would be such a cool narrative. Very few times we feel oppressed in an Assassin's Creed game, despite the assassins almost everytime been in disadvantage. This would be a perfect opportunity to make an Assassin's Creed game were you really feel what is at stake. We fail, the world goes totally to shit. Imagine going through all terrible shit, almost not been able to win the war just to find out thar Hitler escaped and now you're tasked to intercept him and kill him. That would be such a cool concept for an Assassin's Creed game
Something I would like to see is an Assassin's Creed setting in WW2 with the main game set during the war, and one of the expansions is set in the Soviet Union in the early 1950s, where your goal is to assassinate Joseph Stalin. The other expansion could be set in South America in the mid-late 1960s, where you are trying to hunt down and kill the last remaining Nazis who survived the war.
For the comments that watchdogs and Assassins creed do not exist together, coming from the dev team itself. Please remember these are also the people who forgot that Assassins creed takes place in history and that magic, and mythological creatures should not exist
Can’t wait till the new ac multiplayer comes out and it will be epic if they keep some of the best classic game modes and maps and characters along with the new stuff
Is Abstergo also in Far Cry? I don't remember which one. Is it a DLC or something, you go inside a building find a bunch of files or something talking about Templars and Assassins
Assassins creed and watchdogs are a strange cannon. They aren’t explicitly stated but there are certain things that must be cannon. The best way to think about it is that they are their own universes. But both universes has a version of the other. So the watchdogs timeline has a alternate AC timeline WITHIN, and vice versa
Assassin's Creed: Threads of War This concept takes you on a journey through the Assassin-Templar conflict during two of the most brutal wars in history: World War I and World War II. The Setting: The game offers a dual-timeline experience. In the Animus, you explore memories of two different Assassins: WWI: You play as a nimble Assassin caught between empires in a war fueled by Templar manipulation. Explore war-torn landscapes like the Western Front, bustling cities under occupation, and exotic locations tied to hidden Templar operations. WWII: Take on the role of a resourceful Assassin navigating a world engulfed in global conflict. Explore iconic cities like London, Berlin, and Cairo, each with hidden Templar strongholds and resistance movements. Open World Design: Each timeline features a large, open world with diverse environments: WWI: Traverse trench networks, ruined villages, sprawling battlefields, and bustling cities under occupation. WWII: Explore wartorn European cities, sprawling deserts of North Africa, and bustling Middle Eastern markets. Stealth and parkour mechanics are crucial, allowing you to navigate war-torn environments and crowded cities. Each open world offers side quests, historical landmarks to explore, and hidden Templar secrets to uncover. Story and Gameplay: The narrative focuses on the Assassins' struggle to prevent the Templars from exploiting the chaos of war to further their control. You'll encounter historical figures caught in the conflict, some unwittingly pawns of the Templars. Gameplay blends classic Assassin's Creed elements with war-themed challenges: Stealth Assassinations: Utilize the environment and distractions created by the war to eliminate Templar targets. Guerilla Warfare: Assist resistance movements in sabotaging Templar operations and disrupting war efforts fueled by Templar influence. Historical Gear: Wield iconic weapons of the era alongside Assassin-crafted tools and gadgets adapted for war. Gadget Adaptations: The Hidden Blade could be modified for silent takedowns in gas masks or trench warfare. Moral Choices: The war presents difficult decisions, forcing you to choose between protecting civilians and achieving your objectives. Considerations: The sensitive nature of these wars requires a respectful portrayal that acknowledges the historical tragedies without glorifying violence. The focus on stealth and assassination would likely be emphasized to maintain the core Assassin's Creed identity, with open warfare used for specific missions or environmental hazards. This concept offers a unique opportunity to explore the Assassin-Templar conflict during a period of immense historical upheaval. The open world design allows players to experience the diverse landscapes and complexities of these wars, while the story challenges them to navigate a world shaped by both historical events and the ongoing struggle between the Assassins and Templars. tuneshare more_vert Upload an image This prompt requires an image that you need to add. I heard there is a mention of Jesus in AC an essentially he was js a normal man not the son of God not affiliated wit the Templars or Assassins an tht the miracles he performed were bcos he had an shroud of Eden wen the Romans heard of these under the control of the Templars they arrested, tortured, then crucified him and took the shroud his followers retrieved the shroud to try to resurrect him but all attempts failed
There is. He was an user of the shroud of Eden in AC lore. Clay Kaczmarek (Subject 16) confirms this in The Truth puzzles in AC II although i dont remember exactly which glyph it is. They do it by setting the shroud besides Christ nailed to the cross.

Now let's be honest you and me both know that is complete bs when he said WD and AC are not in the same universe and Easter egg reference my foot because why make a side request and a DLC if they not in the same universe that doesn't make sense at all and great video
Id say subsidiaries. Blume and Ubisoft are Subsidiaries of Abstergo... Pretty sure that's there are even blatant hints and references like the use of Ctos and the fact the brotherhood has made use of hackers like Shaun and Rebecca. So its not to far of a leap. Despite the head creative lead saying otherwise... I don't understand why they don't say they are and have the Watch Dogs Legion be the fallen timeline of the Brotherhood or something... But i can see many people disliking that idea so meh. Would probably draw more attention to Watchdogs series. (Edit was to fix the spelling of Shauns name)
If anybody is interested in a similar open-world parkour game set during WW2, I'd recommend checking out The Saboteur, you play as an irishman in nazi-occupied france and you can climb anything. Good mix of GTA and AC.
Hearing mention of Die Glocke in a video not about CoD Zombies is slightly offputting to me idk why (im big into both AC and CoDZ lore, and they both use the real life Die Glocke for lore) Bro, the entire CoD zombies lore is based on the Tunguska meteor event, according to that lore, a space rock containing large amounts of element 115 was what landed at Tunguska, element 115 is responsible for reanimating the dead, creating wonder weapons like the Ray Gun, and anything else mythical is explained simply by "Element 115"
Same here. Love both game's lore a lot. I like that both take advantage of these mysterious historical events and put their own twist on it. I had cod zombies in mind throughout the whole video while he was explaining all of this lol.
As far as I know. The 2 universes being connected of watch dogs and AC was true. You take out AC4s Garnaeu in Watch Dogs. And there is a photo of it in Origins. But they ended up retconning it in WD:L and the assassin dlc character isn't a canon character
Bro why’d he have to ruin the fun in having a lore about the AC universe and watchdogs being connected. Garnaeu’s death to the brotherhood/aiden makes it worth while in not seeing him at all. But having the historical figures/ events changed in a way is crazy.
I don't know which gaming studio needs to hear this but referencing the video game is an "easter egg", but adding main story elements like an assassin tomb and a hidden blade are direct connections and a shared universe.@Ubisoft
I miss them adding actual.history to the games one of the reasons i loved history in school was cauze of the first 3 games especially 3 with the Boston massicare and tea party

I suspect that they said it’s “just Easter eggs” because they don’t want people to expect a game where the two factions work together.
Making a dlc that is a short story with the two interacting and committing to a full game involving that are two different things.
It’s probably just not something they want to take on.
I hate that ac decided to expand into comics and wasted so many great ideas and events that could have been portrayed in the game
So mad that they never kept Desmond being able to time travel as the main story. Patrice was probably pissed 😢
Imagine an assassins creed game during the mongol empire time and we see Genghis khan as a side character
They can even make him as a templar grandmaster (according to me😅)
He would've been a third faction like selim or napoleon... A man who looks for power but not actually a Templar
Yah it can be but he would be more powerful and can be shown as a beast like figure
@@deyenterprises9003 bro he's already buffed irl imagine having the artifact with him
@@saadkhaion9234 he would end the whole humanity I quess 😂
He was assassinated by a mongolian assassin in the auditore villa statues im pretty sure@@saadkhaion9234
Assassins creed lore is awesome
I have a theory about the Eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. My theory is that the eruption was caused by someone messing with a Piece of Eden like the one Shay accidentally set off that caused the Lisbon Earthquake.
I feel like with that last bit of that guy saying it’s just Easter eggs and aren’t linked as of WD2 would have been true but with WDL that statement would no longer be accurate as before it was small missable details but in Legion with the entire small section of the assassin character would prove that statement wrong as of like 2020-2022
You should do an AC Iceberg video!
I've already made one
Just a quick reminder to those who don't know what conspiracy theory means. Conspiracy theory doesn't mean "a theory that's automatically wrong". A conspiracy theory is simply a theory someone has about two people or a group of people who are plotting against another person or another group of people. Hence the term conspiracy.
Conspiracy: Two or more people plotting against another person or group of people
Theory: an idea used to account for a situation or justify a course of action.
I genuinely don’t think it’s just Easter eggs. I will die on it
I’ve heard the theory that Ubisoft is actually Abstergo.
AC game during Hitler's reign would be terrifying, amazing, & awesome!
Ill always connect AC and WD as it can be explained that the game mentioned in that data breach or the movie posters can all be seen as Abstergo making them to try and expose the Creed
Where are you getting the CGI footage? I haven't seen some of these and they are cool AF
Which parts?
Wild to have that title with that thumbnail
The Interface ship, I love that pink word thing
There’s more conspiracy theories in universe than I realized
What's wild is that AC's take on JFK is similar to Treyarchs take on JFK
First, love the content btw ❤
Borris Pash was a real life American military official. He is notable for hating the Soviet Union and even killed many Russians. Most people would probably know him for investigating Robert Oppenheimer during the Los Alamos project even appearing in the Oppenheimer movie from last year.
Ive always had wondered about things like this
It would be insane an AC in WWII.
I've been waiting for this for years.
I work near the Ubisoft Building and what you see with the AC movie poster is the same building located in San Francisco
15:16 fun fact, there's abstergo documents in far cry 3 as well
So no one has mentioned but in far cry 3 there is a side quest where you go through an old abstergo facility.
the Watch Dogs guy wasn't a member they just hired him to do jobs.
Sorry but AC not being connected to WD is just dumb after so many evidence
Hell, even the name "The Foc" given to Aiden Pierce is similar to La Volpe
Is Abstergo also in Far Cry? I don't remember which one. Is it a DLC or something, you go inside a building find a bunch of files or something talking about Templars and Assassins
Far cry 3.
15:48 yea I call bs. Bro is head of essentially gameplay. Not trusting him at all
That my friends, is called Denial.
They can’t gaslight us into thinking watchdogs and Assassin’s Creed aren’t in the same universe
I really enjoyed this video
So the watchdogs guys are the Assassin allies the Initiates.
It's perfect.
Make a lets play video!
We need this
If I was to do a let's play style video. I'd probably stream it as let's plays are a thing of the past.
Yeah
The greatest conspiracy theory of ac is on the templars.
Assassin's Creed: Threads of War
This concept takes you on a journey through the Assassin-Templar conflict during two of the most brutal wars in history: World War I and World War II.
The Setting:
The game offers a dual-timeline experience.
In the Animus, you explore memories of two different Assassins:
WWI: You play as a nimble Assassin caught between empires in a war fueled by Templar manipulation.
Open World Design:
Each timeline features a large, open world with diverse environments:
WWI: Traverse trench networks, ruined villages, sprawling battlefields, and bustling cities under occupation.
Story and Gameplay:
The narrative focuses on the Assassins' struggle to prevent the Templars from exploiting the chaos of war to further their control.
You'll encounter historical figures caught in the conflict, some unwittingly pawns of the Templars.
Gameplay blends classic Assassin's Creed elements with war-themed challenges:
Stealth Assassinations: Utilize the environment and distractions created by the war to eliminate Templar targets.
Considerations:
The sensitive nature of these wars requires a respectful portrayal that acknowledges the historical tragedies without glorifying violence.

You can also find a hidden abstergo facility in Far Cry 3
i think the main thing with watch dogs and assassins creed is that the brotherhood and Aiden
Pearce exist in both universes
I find it so cool how they put their own twist on these old biblical figures and stories in a way that makes them feel a bit more believable to me.
Jesus was an ally of the Hidden Ones (Assassins)
I got interested in watch dogs from this video until the ubisoft employee said nope. Oh well.
Pretty sure there was an AC reference in one of the Far Cry games as well.
Just imagine AC and CODBO1 crossing paths at JFK assassination. That would be crazy lol.
First mention of what happened to Oliver was in rogue.
This franchise had so much potential but modern gamming ruined it 😢
Nah when I think of assassin's creed I think of shay from ac rouge non stop saying "I make me own luck"
Anyone notice the subscribe button acting highlights on mobile atleast a Rambo circle spins around it telling you where the button is when he said “subscribe”
Now let's be honest you and me both know that is complete bs when he said WD and AC are not in the same universe and Easter egg reference my foot because why make a side request and a DLC if they not in the same universe that doesn't make sense at all and great video
A assassins creed game set in WW2 would be lit
Wait, you definitively say a time travelling, invisible WW2 battleship is real?
A random Nazi, tasked with some of the bizarre, occult "adventures" could be an incredible piece of writing.
If anybody is interested in a similar open-world parkour game set during WW2, I'd recommend checking out The Saboteur, you play as an irishman in nazi-occupied france and you can climb anything. Good mix of GTA and AC.
The sad part for me is assassin's Creed lore could be so much better if there was just some sort unified story
Watch dogs is definitely the assassin, brotherhood and modern world and I hope it will come back
Hearing mention of Die Glocke in a video not about CoD Zombies is slightly offputting to me idk why (im big into both AC and CoDZ lore, and they both use the real life Die Glocke for lore)
Bro, the entire CoD zombies lore is based on the Tunguska meteor event, according to that lore, a space rock containing large amounts of element 115 was what landed at Tunguska, element 115 is responsible for reanimating the dead, creating wonder weapons like the Ray Gun, and anything else mythical is explained simply by "Element 115"
How you forget about Aya killing Julius Cesar right before Brutus stepped in?
watch dogs mentioned 🔥🗣️
2:09 "Before going back in time 10 seconds and returning to Philadelphia"
Is it 10 seconds forward or backward?
5 Mind-blowing Assassin's Creed conspiracy theories and the first image you see in the thumbnail is JFK lmao
I don't know which gaming studio needs to hear this but referencing the video game is an "easter egg", but adding main story elements like an assassin tomb and a hidden blade are direct connections and a shared universe.@Ubisoft
De Glocke, any COD Der Riese fans? And the conspiracy about JFK kinda reminds me the plot of CODBO1.
A modern day ac would be awesome
3:55 and as a middle person of 3 men in black from the ending of AC1
I miss them adding actual.history to the games one of the reasons i loved history in school was cauze of the first 3 games especially 3 with the Boston massicare and tea party
As soon as I saw Aiden Pearce all those years ago I just had an itching feeling he had some connection to the brotherhood. Even compared to the other watchdogs no one is that good
I don't care who says what but I strongly believe that an AC game in WWI would be amazing
The problem about The Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs Easter egg is that Ubisoft doesn't explain what actually happened to Oliver.
So despite saying it's not connected is entirely untrue because how else would you explain it.
AC exists in watchdogs but Watchdogs does not exist in AC, we literally play an assassin in legion
