Oof. Can't fully forgive him for the despicable behavior - especially to taunt a woman in a gym minding her own business. That's really low. But glad he changed his life around.
I think it takes a very special person to admit to all those things and to realise that what he was doing was wrong and to change so drastically. So he’s forgiven in my books 😊.
@M_SS1 yeah but that lady in the gym that he harassed and made to feel uncomfortable and angry might disagree. When people have harassed me like that - killing in front of me and eating dead animals in front of me, screaming, yelling, putting you down, calling you names -that really does something to you and sometimes you dont shake those interactions for a long time. If he was someone I knew who did that to me I would say that I fully embrace who he is now but I would still feel off about him. There would always be a trace there.
@jonahwhale9047 I understand you both, but what I mean is that he's completely changed, he clearly regrets how he used to be and is making up, not only by being vegan but also by doing activism. He's seen the mistake in his old ways and has turned around. That's what I mean...
I went vegetarian as a sort of challenge and because I thought it healthy. During that time I watched Earthlings and that cemented vegetarianism for me. I still made up justifications for milk and eggs though. I thought I needed them for protein and I didn't want to be like those extreme vegans. Later I started learning about how healthy a vegan diet can be and after a while I had pretty much decided to give it a go for a while and bought some soy milk to try in my tea. Then I watched Milk: Make Your Own Mind Up and there was no way I was going back. I also ended up sending that video to my best friend and it was the last push he needed (he had dabbled before but he was also doing fasting at the time so it didn't stick) We were able to support each other in a disheartening non-vegan world.
An honest ex-anti-vegan, finally. Anyone who interacts with anti-vegans on Elon's hellsite knows exactly what they are and what they're doing. It's refreshing to see someone admit it's all a sham.
Just keep relentlessly telling the truth. Less than 5% of the population are actually psychopaths so therefore I feel you have a 95% chance of getting through to them eventually. Even if you don't personally make them get it, every truth bomb will eventually weaken their defence.

You're confusing plant based with vegan. Vegan is a moral position that excludes as far as is practicable and possible, all forms of animal exploitation and harm. Plant based is someone eating plants for dietary reasons, either to try and fix an ailment or to lose weight. Many of the so called 'ex-vegans' were plant based on restrictive diets such as only eating raw, block fasting, only eating fruit, only eating mono foods, some even consumed their own urine and went on water only fast diets for 30 days. These so called 'ex-vegans' have eating disorders or were just dieting, you know like people do in the new year and before the end of January have quit. But if you're vegan, then you're against animal abuse, and align your actions with your morals. You don't suddenly wake up and realise that you were wrong, and actually animal abuse is something you love and should go back to participating in it @pacmanmcgavin7034
He looks exactly the type of meat flake or troll you see online and they are just determined to prove themselves right and how it's a right thing to do wrong thing but differs from them in the sense that he is open minded (which is what i often mention in comments and is opposite of what most ppl are) . Obviously never cared about non human-animals life much when trolling like most meat eaters but was open minded and only after going vegan one feels actually connected and i can say this with affirmation as i see vegan videos full of ex-meat eaters who really care about animals and it is something you would have never imagined. Strange how our mind works , isn't it ? Just that internet highlits the troll and ex-vegan more for wrong reasons.. Lastly ,Ex-meaters really give you the courage to push things in life no matter how hard it is , definitely can't be hard then overcoming your addiction and something that majority does and is normalised . Have even read of ppl going vegan where almost everyone is non vegan ,i mean wow ❤!
Everyone who changes their mind and becomes completely stops consuming meat will have God's blessing. Meat flakes, sorry but if y'all believe in God and religion, you guys will burn in hell, unfortunately until you go Vegan. The only way to repent is to go Vegan and protect, save, stand up and speak for the animals (God's most delicate, precious creations) and humans equally. People think Vegans don't care about humans... veganism is based on causing no harm be it humans or animals. So if you even remotely have compassion somewhere in your body, you'd be vegan.
Great video. When anyone actually looks at the real facts, backed by data, understands how barabaric the animal agriculture industry is, etc., they often go vegetarian or vegan, if they're actually open to change. I used to eat meat, as I was told (lied) to by my doctors and team, claiming I needed it to stay healthy due to my condition. Obviously this wasn't true and after looking jnto it myself and actually researching it, I went vegetarian and then pretty much vegan (I can't go full vegan due to a medication I have to take, which is so frustrating as there is no alternative to it). But honestly, quitting meat and dairy has made me feel so much healthier.
Wonderful! Another stupid carnist feeling the need to post their repetitive absurd meat pics or anti vegan memes/comments and thus increasing the traffic of this vegan video! Let's get more of these. Let's take advantage of the stupidity of meatflakes! And then block or ignore them, depending on the platform
Well, you're contributing to a lot of suffering and environmental damage, not to talk about the costs to the health system, so having a "bad rep" is just a very mild consequence next to those other ones.
@@RandomHamster15 Every slaughterhouse is local to someone. Small local farms still go things like castration and cutting of tails without pain killers as standard practice. All animals in all farms whether it is a factory farm or this imaginary idealistic scenario you have are brutally slaughters at a fraction of their lifespan. 6 weeks old for a meat chicken, 1 day old for male chicks in the egg industry, up to 18 weeks for veal as a byproduct of the dairy industry. Me & my 2😺😸friends have given V the👎but you do you...
Great activism 👍👍✅❤️
I was so dumb to became anti vegan once. I believed that anti vegan narration . I took seriously their lies.
I went vegan almost 2.5 year ago and I am also activist for AV too.
The tide is turning it feels.
The truth is slowly becoming more common knowledge.
There are so many people out there edging veganism 😉
He's not the person he was, so there's nothing to forgive
Well it depends I used to kill n torture animals too but I've changed like I've done crazier stuff than him lol
"My laziness was killing animals". Damn.
@@SeamusOReilly-xp3pr awww you mad your butt buddy went vegan?😂

Great conversation. 😊
Great video! I love hearing people’s stories on what made them go vegan
Massive respect to Elton.
This is one of my favourite videos. It gives me hope. Thank you David.
Great Video!!
Great video, thanks 👍✌🌱
What an amazing conversation. Thank you for the inspiration guys ❤
I’m after what is best way to deal with trolls. Seems like just educating them about the truth.
Just keep relentlessly telling the truth.
Less than 5% of the population are actually psychopaths so therefore I feel you have a 95% chance of getting through to them eventually.
Even if you don't personally make them get it, every truth bomb will eventually weaken their defence.
I don't bother with the "Mmmm bacon" trolls. Everyone can see they are idiots. I correct all the misinformation though.
✊
Awesome!!

HUGE THX For recommending me the honey by earthling ed BEST VIDEO ON BEES IVE EVER SEEN and i seen a couple BUT THE DIFFERENT BEES TAKING OVER ORIGINAL ONES !!!!!! COMpletly dominated my environmental wonderings
The next evolution is for him to be more mindful and just stop trolling and pestering. How you show up is huge.
Keep it up! Pioneers of a new age
❤
Thanks for sharing well done!
In trying to prove vegans wrong, he proved them right. Good on him!
💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
This will be a good video to produce when needed.
When needed for what? If vegans interviewed people who were vegan and went back to eating meat they'd be posting a dozen videos a day.
You don't suddenly wake up and realise that you were wrong, and actually animal abuse is something you love and should go back to participating in it
@pacmanmcgavin7034
And yet the vegan cult supports the Palestinian terror state.
Yeah, a moral position...@@Simon-Smith.
Great video 👍

The steak i ate tased, better when i watched animal slaughter footage.
I know I know, I'd be bitter too if I couldn't construct a basic sentence 😭
Feel so happy that he is a vegan now💚
Cool...hope it's not just a "journey"
There is no rational obligation to abstain from eating animal foods.
"Trolling the trolls". He will like my channel
Your arch nemesis Mr. Loos is back at it again I see (allegedly)
Literally next commet down from yours
This is very interesting actually 😂 you never know who's actually going to fact check your comments and might open their eyes to their own bullshit
“You have become the very thing you swore to destroy”
Ah, Homo Sapiens Sapiens, 👁️ like that. Alot. 💪🏼🌱👌🏽
🙏🏻🌱💚🙏🏼🙏🏿🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏
Everyone who changes their mind and becomes completely stops consuming meat will have God's blessing. Meat flakes, sorry but if y'all believe in God and religion, you guys will burn in hell, unfortunately until you go Vegan. The only way to repent is to go Vegan and protect, save, stand up and speak for the animals (God's most delicate, precious creations) and humans equally. People think Vegans don't care about humans... veganism is based on causing no harm be it humans or animals. So if you even remotely have compassion somewhere in your body, you'd be vegan.
🌱
❤❤❤
Can vegans eat lab grown meat? No animals wear harmed.
@@adammorgan1776 You can’t go full vegan?! Then you’re obviously doing it wrong and were never really vegan to begin with
It's OK to eat meat, People.
🍆
It’s OK to eat dogs, people.
Sad.@@NicholasLeighton-eq3yg
Fake! He was never a true meat eater..
The steak I ate while watching this was amazing, sorry vegans I'm gonna keep eating meat.
I don’t really like how meat eaters are labeled as “animal enslavers” or whatever else we are called. We get a bad rep
Well, you're contributing to a lot of suffering and environmental damage, not to talk about the costs to the health system, so having a "bad rep" is just a very mild consequence next to those other ones.
@@mayhu3282 I agree the suffering of animals is bad so that’s why I buy local meat. Not all meat eaters endorse suffering
I'm sorry to say but if you buy animal products no matter where they are from you endorse and support suffering.
