Just subbed and what a great review of the product. I'm saving some money to buy it just bcs of your video.
Nice review and demo, I like the low profile too. I have a swing arm spring loaded mic holder for my desk. It doesn’t get in the way of my monitor. If I were going to purchase the Elgato I would be concerned about wear and tear on the tightening screw using that teeny little Allen wrench. However, I don’t stream, I use mine mainly for music production. Again, nice review. 👍🏻👍🏻🎸👍🏻👍🏻

I just ordered that arm yesterday. This Elgato arm is what I've been needing. I will have to wait two weeks for delivery from the UK. It was out of stock everywhere I looked online, except Amazon Global Store UK. A very fine video.

Btw, I've seen a lot of reviewers clamping it at the back of the desk and have the arm/mic come at you from under the monitors and put it away back under/behind the monitors when you don't need it, which saves desk space and also doesn't get in the way when using it.
Your monitors seem to be high enough to allow that.

Yea I know a lot of people have suggested it but, I personally like it off to the side so I can move it out of the way.
LP is meant to go below the monitor, and over your keyboard.

One phrase i would use to describe this mic arm is "No fuss", you will not have ANY struggles with this mic arm, it's super unfussy.
I mean, LP stand for low profile. I’ve seen some people mount under the monitor but I have so much stuff and I can’t swing the mic out of the way when I’m not using it so I prefer it tot he side.
But then the beauty of the mic arm you can install it how you see fit! Def an easy to use and setup no fuss mic arm for sure!
I honestly don’t think you will regret it, I’m still in love with the look and feel of this mic arm such a great upgrade.

you could try to squeeze it into the small space between 3rd monitor and PC and attach it in the back, if it's long enough.

I think your audio actually sounded cleaner before you switched to the SM7B. Wasn't expecting that. The LP arm setup is clean though
I think my SM7B is a little muddy but I feel like I lose presence if I try and clean it up. I honestly hate audio 😂 but I might tinker with it. Thanks for watching the video! 🙏🏻

yea i am getting rid of my rode psa1 mic arm as well it gets in the way no matter where i put the damn thing . but i am getting the elgato lowprofile arm because i am changing my gaming setup i cannot wait also using that arm been a pain it goes up on its own even though the arm is tighten i screw in the screws tight wit hmy flat head . nothing it goes up so i be putting that in my closet .

I have it behind the monitor and I can move my hands freely and not have to hit the arm it's nice, but to have it on the side like you did I felt worried I would hit it
Luckily it doesn’t get in the way! I have seen a lot of people mount it behind the monitor.

Rode PSA1! solid mic but was squeaky and got in the way of my third monitor to my right.
