This is a brilliant concept! It's amazing how certain activities lend themselves to crawling, like playing kitties/puppies with children, gardening under shrubs, or doing jujitsu. I definitely appreciate that you brought people back to the idea of diagonal stability. Key concept!
@@DoctorBen It definitely is an underrated activity! It requires humility and a flexible mindset, which are qualities most people have beaten out of them by society. It's important to realize utility wherever it may be.
I'm a fan of crawling. I'm recovering from anterolisthesis L4 on L5 with lumbar stenosis. I practice squats and deadhang. I have a question. Do you advise me to practice crawling ? I love crawling. Thanks in anticipation
I can’t recommend or advise against you crawling over the internet. What I can tell you is that crawling is a great way to improve mobility, stability, and strength in the shoulder, hips, and core. If it’s not specifically contraindicated by your doctor I would say go for it! But really listen to your body. If any range of motion hurts, that’s your body telling you there’s a problem. Don’t push through it. Forcing through pain won’t make the problem better. Work inside your non painful range of motion to restore normal function. Crawling can do a lot to improve overall body function.
