I think the earthiness comes for the PA rye. I tend to get that from the Pennsylvania ryes.
I believe it’s Old Overholt 11y this year btw. Think it’s literally same barrels, just a year older. Hope they have enough stock for the next few years!
The LB8 surprised me. I was thinking it would be more brash and in your face like the Bookers can be. But it wasn’t!

Definitely, if you like sweet and oak then you can't go wrong with the Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. It's a brown sugar bomb.
