When I was young we had a Ge spot scrubber model the mini basket will fill then empty out and scrub the socks 🧦 with detergent . It only filled a little bit just to fill the basket .
@bob3782 I became a fan of the GE Filter-Flo washers when I used one at a laundry room in my mother's apartment building back in the 90s. It was a coin operated washer and I had lots of fun with it. Unfortunately they took them out and they replaced them with Wascomats 5th generation washers. Every time I went into the laundry room I thought of those GE Filter-Flo washers. They were my crazy friends .
They were good machines. But if that black large rubber boot between the transmission and tub split , tore , or failed. You could easily have water everywhere.
What is the purpose of the mini basket, i cant even guess, love the old ge filterflows, any washer with recirculation is awesome really. This agitstion, wash action is amazing tho, super splashy😊
@@teetar1751 I guess it was just a wash one or two pieces without having to use a lot of water in the tub. Most of the fills had mini basket level so it used very little water. I had to use the small level because this machine does not have a mini basket level.
