    Heck, at 44 years a Maytag has just gotten broken in. Mine is 46 years old and I use it every week.

    I’ve heard that when Maytag Appliances folded the family kept a whole bunch of agitators so for themselves on hand so that they could use them in their new venture so that they could churn the blue cheese which is absolutely delicious.

    Power fins are right up there with Surgilators as my favorite agitators. I know it’s only my opinion but load sensors do not belong in these machines. Maytag thought it good enough to stick with this agitator for 20 + years.

      These were the best washers and agitator Does this machine have a fabric softener dispenser? I see the top of the agitator has a cap

      @@bob3782 yes it does, but the original machine did not come with the fabric softener dispenser in it. It came with the solid top filter.

    I wish I had this Peter, My Speed Queen TR7 washer died 6 weeks ago after only having it for 3 months and the repairman doesn't seem to know what is wrong with it??? Speed Queen won't give me a new one until the repairman tries everything he can to figure out what's wrong? So I just have to wait and keep going to the Laundromat!!! Thanks for the video and have a great day...... Bob

      @@petermaz701 I know, I wish I could find a good used washer like this, Because this isn't my first time having trouble with Speed Queen and I'm getting a little tired of it!!! Their customer service dept. isn't the greatest to deal with and I am starting to lose my interest in Speed Queen all together!!!

      @@maryrobert80 the shame is that unless you get something vintage, nothing is really good out there. I guess if I had to get something modern, I would have to look at the GE family. I think the whirlpool family has really gone downhill

      @@petermaz701 I’ve recorded a few videos myself vertically, but 99% of the time is horizontal since I want there to be a wide angle. Just want to provide quality content, think it’s paying off since I’ve been gaining a couple subscribers a week.

    It made sense to me that the Maytags spin counter clockwise when extracting. They were built primarily for North America and we are in the northern hemisphere where water naturally drains counter clockwise down a drain in our sinks. Why fight gravity? That’s what I say.

      ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤THE OLD MAYTAGS WERE THE ABSOLUTELY BEST EVER!! THESE NEW HE WASHERS ARE JUST HORRIBLE AND ARE WAY TO FRUGILE WITH WATER. THEY DO NOT WASH WELL AND THEY TAKE 1 AND 1/2 HOURS TO DO WHAT THE OLD SCHOOL DID EXTREMELY WELL IN JUST 30 MINUTES!!!!!

    You will not ever see No washer washing clothes like that these days because the New machines they don't even come close washing like that and it's probably because the new washing machines today are extremely wimpy and they are weak last weak and all be all they are absolutely Garbage 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️.
