I'll be honest. When I first played this game. This scene took my breath away. I had a heck of a time putting the control down while playing this game. Probably the last good game I played.
Imagine a intro to an actual city in the clouds just like this. It would fuckin make people cry and have people minds blown. I love this intro it gives me goosebumps.
Those horns and the blaring red lights give me goosebumps every time. They're so evocative and powerful, and it almost feels like they were made to be akin to Rapture. It's almost like they're there to say 'Worry not pilgrim, for there is salvation above.' with the horns as the voices of the angels and the lights as god's radiance breaking through the clouds. What a masterpiece of a scene.
First time I played it and the chair launched up I thought I would see something terrifying. But then I saw Columbia my jaw dropped, it was so beautiful. But then you get further into the game and then ya know.
I turned 24 now and i feel i wasted alot of time in my life, so i am watching this so i can remember 6 years earlier playing this for the first time getting mesmerised, and remembering a time where i didn't have to worry about anything, so in a way this moment in a game is till now giving me peace
"15,000 feet.....Hallelujah."
best intro ever.
One of the most breath-taking intros in a game ever. On my first playthrough I reset the game so I could see it again.
that Halelujah at the end with that view is just magnificient, so much of joy sparkled inside me, I wish the city existed DAMN IT
Unpopular Opinion: Columbia is better than Rapture...

Make yourself ready pilgrim, the bindings are there as a safeguard.
I actually cannot understand why people dislike this
This is my favorite part in the entire game except when you learn its secrets then it turns into a horror game O~O
One the best video game introductions I've ever played.
