Can you figure out what the intention of the story was in Infinite? To destroy the idea of God in the mind of the youth. To create a generation of people to oppose government and rebel. Not just this game, lots of them, in movies and tv shows for many years. Look at the world today.
You already know evil and corruption exists but how far does it go. Is it connected to anything. For what purpose? Bioshock blew my mind showing such amazing scenery with an underlying darkness to it through the story line. Real life has so much more to it than this game. Wait until you see the two witnesses, then an angel of God flying over us warning us about the mark of the beast. Psalms 83 is forming and after what happens when they attack in Ezekiel 38 will shock everyone.
If you want a way out of what's coming, of judgement of God, you need Jesus Christ. John 3:16-17 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Literally the same opening as Bioshock 1, except it's in the sky instead of under the sea. And the priest says "Is it someone new?" Just like the first splicer you meet in Bioshock 1.
Absolutely one of the best openings in the Bioshock series. The first time I lad my eyes on Rapture while in the bathysphere I had total goosebumps but just seeing the clouds depart as you first lay your eyes on Columbia with the soft piano keys is such a feeling of ecstasy that you really feel like this place is heaven and pure on the outside. No other game can really compete with such an opening to a world’s environment.
I remember when I first played through this game and you first burst through those blinding white clouds, gazing out at a picturesque Colombia for the first time, I got chills. This opening still gives me chills. It's legitimately one of the best openings to any game I've ever played.

I remembered the opening sequence from a game that I loved to play at my aunt's and I had forgotten what the game was. I just read an article and it mentioned this so I had to just look it up and lo and behold I found the game I loved to play after so long.

Disagree. This ending was so damn good. I was missing the Story telling of the city Like they did with Rapture but the ending was so amazing and for me unexpected.
What I would give to live in a functioning Rapture or Columbia. I love this time, except the politic problems the time between 1910-1950 was such an awesome time. Architecture, clothing style, adventuring the world with zoos, ships, airplanes, no internet.
One of the best intro sequences.
The best

Only surpassed by the original Bioshock intro. First time I saw Rapture I was amazed just like Colombia! Great games.
It hits the same as the scene in the first one where you go into the ocean

Nah nothing tops Rapture, especially when you have in mind that its a 15 y/o game

Fantastic game. The bioshock series will always be one of my favs
I remembering coming out of that baptism scene and being like, "Is that a buff Ben Franklin?"
"Wow, what a beautiful and perfect city! There's no possible way this place could go the way of Rap- oh."

"That's right, they're still racist 🙁"
Give it a few years and it’ll go wacko like rapture all over again
Gotta love them twins
Isaak Jackson they’re the same person from different universes
excellent commentary i like how the video maker here show us everything the tapes and view etc.

He DOESN'T row
”Wha- where do i go? I have nowhere to go. It’s like a home bargains version of the bioshock infinite intro”
Looks like heaven at first but then looks like hell later
Like Rapture
Basically a mushroom trip gone bad

The music sorta sounds like amazing grace. This intro makes you feel like you just stepped into another type of dimension similar to heavan lol
Does anyone know the name of the song on the sewer sequence with the shrines? It’s one of the greatest vg songs I’ve ever heard, so enchanting

What is the song that plays right after you break through the clouds

Great 30 minute intro followed by medicare gameplay. I still love this game for the story.
It's ok. Worse than Bioshock 2 and it feels like it was mainly made for console but still fun.
The Story and atmosphere is something else.
Looks like heaven. I'd move there in a heartbeat.
