@@DJKeytronikzTV Just was definitely around during the early Roc years fasho. His beats just sounded like knock off Rick Rock joints.😂 He really found his lane during The Dynasty & Blueprint albums, which of course, both had production from B!NK and Kanye. He’s truly the pioneer with that sound.
Bink went crazy on this. Ear is impeccable and chop game is ridiculous. He also made a great call with laying a sax for the chorus. That’s a real producer.
B!nk made “Devil in a Dress” which is one of Kanye’s best songs and arguably one of Rick Ross best verses. He doesn’t get nearly the recognition he deserves. His ear for samples is elite
Maaaaan, initially, I was tight when I discovered that the best track on the album was by B!nk and not Ye! 😂😂😂 Hindsight tho because I’ve discovered so much more.
Yeah me too… Ye did add some sauce to the beat with a few extra instruments and the guitar on the bridge. Ross went crazy. B!nk and Ross should’ve made an album or an EP
I’m coming apart here ..I love this track. Some of his most potent creative work is on this album, in a effortless suggestion..it’s poetry, sultry, juxtaposed with the ultimate gritty, savage raps and mindset… makings of a boss!
📠📠📠📠📠📠📠📠 Bink! is such a dope producer. So many flame tracks had me check the credits to keep seeing his name. "Santorini Greece" is such a vibe + goals. One of the best to blend samples + synthetic + live instruments 😤🙌
🤦🏾♂️ freakin gorgeous!!!!,& melodic 🔥🔥🔥🤘🏽 shout out to the big homie bink!🫡🖖🏽 Va owns💪🏽 P.S. gotta do one on Nottz Raw next!!🫡🖖🏽Virginia in here!..🫡🖖🏽
Man first time I heard the rulers back it was the first week of school 7th grade sept 2001 I was just coming from my aunt house out huntersvilles in Norfolk Va (bink hometown) . Next to my mom driving was a whip blasting The Rulers Back.Them horns blew my 12 yr old mind . It didn’t sound like nothing else I ever heard at the time. I kept going to Amazon to hear the 30 sec snippet. Blueprint became my fav rap album of all time. Played it like 3 yrs straight. I would read the credits front and back and saw the name bink but I just thought he was some low key ny cat. When I heard him and nottz was from Norfolk I was shocked 😮..crazy nxt light over somebody was pumping all I need on everything. That album got me diehard into rap music and out my video game wrestling phase 😂
I heard Santorini Greece 1000 times but I'm listening to this like I ain't never heard 😂
Santorini is the song I always wished I could listen to for the first time again
fact bro he killed this shit frfr
Santorini Greece has to be one of the greatest beats ever created I can't lie that shit feels timeless!
If it wasn't for Bink, there would be no Just Blaze, 1500 or Nothin, Justice L.E.A.G.U.E. and others. He started that big drum luxury R.O.C. sound
🎯🎯🎯
Interesting
Wow I never knew that salute and respect to Bink
Let it be known!!!!

Devil in a red dress producer, enough said... Probably one of the greatest beats ever..
Wasn’t it Mike Dean who produced that beat?
@@blackerthanthou4509 Dean did the live instrumentation, bink had the chop and the drums
Bink REALLY EXPLAINED music theory from a Hip Hop mindset 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😇
🔥🫡🫡
It’s not really „music theory“. Rather it’s his approach to sample chopping.
Bink definetly one of those underrated producers, deserves more credit !
Can't wait to see Nottz, Hi-Tek as well on this show !
Man pleeease get Nottz & Hi-Tek !

🔥🔥
The cleanest hip hop drums on earth... Bink!
He said his approach to sampling is to figure out what the sample is doing then get in the record and jam with it. 💯
The thing I found out with sampling is you literally can use 1 song a thousand different ways.
I sampled a record and made two different songs that didn't even sound close to each other.
💯
I watched this video 20+ times and each time I'm blown away at how brilliant this man is. Much respect bro!
This has to be the most inspirational producer series!

Bink just taught me how to bass slide. Appreciate you OG! Shoutout Stevie J
Damn that’s next level art right there🫡
Bink! Salute.. 💯🐐
So rhay bass slide wow. So I do slides in fl but I never seen someone do it natural with the keys I'ma use that one.
Back then we didn’t have a DAW to make beats on so we had to do everything natural
Crazy ..... definitely thought it was a horn this whole time.
Dope! Very inspiring. Gordon Gartrell chop style is crazy. Glad I'm old enough to know the reference.
One of the greatest to do it!
DOPE!!!!!!!!
that s why i love sampling
