Love this for Rich. He deserves his flowers. Him and Redd are the fathers of the modern trap sound. Everyone hot today got their sound from them and that's facts
@@NOCDIB toomp sound isn't the sound that laid the blueprint for trap. Shawty Redd sound is. Every major trap producer today and the ones that become prevalent in the 2010s sound is based arounds Redds the influence is clear as day. Next is zaytoven.
@@kennethjrcalloway7867 zaytoven is definitely there as well and you can hear is style in a majority of today's producers like Wheezy, Pierre and others. But Redds style is the one most trap producers sound is based off and you can hear at least one or two of his signature sounds in every trap beat. The ha chant that d rich mention, listen to Kendricks euphoria and it's use the same snare and clap as jeezy air forces and get your mind right. Future Demon uses a variation of that too
@@sigmams4952 yeah even in the mainstream tbh, sosa been on it for years and then we got the females (sexy red, JT). That Ian guy too. And I kinda hear elements of it in Carti’s new shit
@@vegardLB yep. Cardo using that Shawty Redd snare i mentioned in another comment. He produced carti and Euphoria. And the open hi hat that Redd and d rich use. I'm glad others are noticing the influence and and giving them credit. They created the wave
D Rich a legend. Him and Shawty Redd are huge inspirations to me. God level talent. The beats for Bankroll Fresh are some of the hardest beats I ever heard. (Behind the Fence, Real Trapper Intro, 17, Van Damme, Out Da Mud, Riggs, Dope Boy Shit, Alpina Beamer, Selfish, Free Wop Freestyle, Rack Stackin…….The track “Change” by Rocko another masterpiece. That intro majestic. Amazing producer.
D Rich my dawg. I remember when we was in the phone chopping it up. Man im glad that I was able to do a track with Bankroll Fresh before he passed. That was a real blessing 🙏🏾
I'm soooooo happy he's getting the love and recognition he BEEN was supposed to get 💪🏿💯. Big shout out to Shawty Redd 🐐👑, and FOREVER #LongLiveBankroll
I hope you’re as proud of yourself as we are, and know you’re walking in the purpose God planned for you! The coach closing the door to football was so God could keep you on this path to fulfill your purpose. Proud of you Fam ♥️
you could really pick any d rich beat and they all hard as hell. Some of my personal favs are rack stackin, we doin it, do ya thang, 17, van damme, selfish, and the trapper freestyle from LOAHB2
that song was so cold at the time cause it 100% sounded like old jeezy got back in his bag but then he also had fresh on it who was new but had been killing that sound since Jeezy switched it up...a mf classic fasho but shout out to D Rich for the foundation and long live Bankroll #streeeeeeeeeet
I was blessed to meet D Rich during Grammy weekend this year, at a studio session. Since then I’ve been privy to have phone conversations with him. Real good brotha. Shoutout to his manager Rico as well!
i really like what yall doing overthere...this was much needed. both these dudes i feel are a bit underrated n at times go unnoticed. However, they contributions to southern hip-hop are unmatched.
Jeezy always makes a big tune with D Rich..it’s a signature Jeezy sound with horns and deep bass drops similar to Shawty Redd (naturally). Also, Bankroll still gets play…timeless music.
Just wanna touch on the hardware vs software topic. When I think of hardware I think of acoustic instruments, because most digital/electronic instruments, certainly the most popular of them, rely on software that is built into the instrument itself, making them standalone devices that don't need to be connected to an external computer. For example, MPCs ALWAYS relied on software, in fact EVERY digital sampler relies on software, including the Fantom X6, Korg Kronos and all of those E-Mu sound modules. They all run on software, some more primitive or advanced than others. In fact the Kronos is literally a computer inside of a midi controller, it runs on a custom version of Linux and has an Intel processor, RAM and a hard drive (SSD), just like a regular computer would. I only mention this because some people think that software DAWs that run on personal computers are inherently inferior to standalone DAWs like a sampling keyboard/synth (Kronos) or drum machine (MPC), which just isn't true.
D rich definitely is da 🐐 produced all my favorite rappers songs like behind the fence,Riggs out da mudd, box Chevy, ghostwriter, type shii, dope man by boochie,17,life of a hot boy 2 intro, maintain,I can't save you interlude etc 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
