I like how they've used Kevlar patches on the armor pockets. I've seen destroyed armored compression pants and what many people don't realize is that, even though the pants may have plenty of impact-absorbing padding, the chassis' textile material is not abrasion resistant. Ergo, the pants will tear apart when hitting the deck and it'd be a matter of luck whether the armor stays in place or not. Great job, Icon!
I’m only replying because you specifically asked in video about sizing thoughts. I’m 5’11” and a lanky 141 lbs. I wear a 30” waist and a small in everything. Tried these pants in a size small and they were crazy BIG for me. There was nothing remotely “compression” about these. Loose waist. Loose leg openings. Sad. Really wanted them to work.
I just received the compression sleeves in a size L/XL and I cudnt get the elbow pad up to my elbow. I have muscular arms so I'm definitely gonna need at least a 2XL if they make them in the future. I know the product is suppose fit snug to lessen the movement upon impact, but Icon needs to bear in mind that everybody is not skinny. #muscularmatterstoo
I am 5'8" 180lbs 32 waist. Got Medium that fits somewhat tight. It is very comfortable to the point where I am tempted to wear it on my mountain bike rides. Not sure how protective they will be as I find pads provide ample coverage. I wonder if Large size comes with bigger pads.
Dang! These are practically completely sold out already. I was thinking of getting these, and the sleeves for under mesh jacket and riding jeans for Summer 2018
How is the breathability compared to forcefield limbtubes and body armor? Forcefield pants run well over $200 and icon price point is under $200. The sleeves and shorts would be worn during summer so breathability is a big factor.
kawi lifezx10r hey, I have some Burton d30 shorts with the same pad placement & that d30 stuff is hot, the Burton’s has just the compression material on the skin side. D30does not breathe. But it does protect! Awesome stuff. Saved my knees! (Knee pads , added raw d30 to skiing plastic knee pad)
You still need to wear an abrasion-resistant riding jacket. These armored sleeves and pants just provide light impact protection. For most people, an armored riding jacket with abrasion resistance is a good option. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle-jackets-vests

How much extra impact would this add under a track suit.
Hmm hope they make a slip on style knee pad without the Velcro
Love this, I mean your channel, extremely useful. Thank you ^^
Okay but will it protect you
HVB doesn't skip leg day!

They aren't sold out so much as we just haven't gotten much of the stock in yet. -DrewZilla
Gotcha!
I'll keep an eye out for more availability on RevZilla. Thanks!
What size do I pick for 36 waist? And I wear a medium Icon Contra jacket. Will the sleeves be the same size?
You could go with size XL for the pants, and for the sleeves, size LG-XL. -DrewZilla

Breathability is pretty similar, so Icon has the edge with price. -DrewZilla

are the pants something you can fit under jeans and wear all day?
Yes, they can be worn under jeans. -DrewZilla
So I can wear this under anything and it safe and are there any other better models
