A repair stand is seriously the best present you will ever receive. It's the sort of thing you muddle on without, and then wonder how on earth you ever managed
Hello! I have no idea If anyone will stumble across my comment, but I’m in need of serious help. A good friend of mine is an avid MTB biker and I’m still questioning what to get him for his birthday. Watching this video just confused me even more 😂. So bikers, do you need the thingy that plugs holes in your wheels, or the tool thingy, or gloves more? I’m very out of my zone. Bikers who know what they’re doing... any suggestions? As far as I know he’s rather experienced, and likes FOX MTB (?). I’m very much out of my depth, so any help would be appreciated! 😊
Yeah, unless it's Bikepark Lac Blanc. Their renthal bikes are not really for their terrain. I'm speaking about a Rockshox Domain, Rockshox Kage RC and a Sram X3 wich are not really great
Seth you are hands down my favourite youtuber it's because of you I took my old bmx out of the shed and re built it after years of procrastination. Thanks.....
Oh my! A couple days ago, I looked on your channel to see if you posted a video on good mountain bike gifts. And today you posted that video! Haha this helps a lot! Thanks Seth!
Socks and gloves are my go to answer for what people should get me for the holidays. You can never have too many. Another great one to add to your list is a charitable donation in the riders name to the local trails chapter that they ride. I find that while it's not a physical gift, it does mean a lot to most riders I would think.
Just going through the comments to see if anyone else was going to say this! They are VERY crucial to a good ride. I can confirm your mountain biking buddy will appreciate some good bar ends.
Hi seth, if you need a mudgard without buying one just get a display folder(the clear sheets in it) google a mtb front mudgard, glue it on then cut it out, use a hole punch to make the holes then attach with zip ties. Great video seth, very helpful
Great ideas Seth! I see the snow is crazy up there due to this cold front we are having..great riding weather here in Ft.lauderdale! Love the content my friend
Personally my favorite sock is the fox cool max there long as hell offering tons of protection and they feel like not wearing socks at all I've used them on a full day of mountain Bikeing at a park in 80-90°f temps and my feet were the least sweaty part of my body
wow Seth, again, lovely, high quality video, thumbs up for that! :) your videos are always super nice to watch and please more videos from your dog haha maybe a 3rd person fusion video while he following you the trail? that would be awesome :D
Seths' videos are about entertainment not just bikes, and he gets that right, I end up viewing everyone of them. Spindatt also has the same concept though in a different feel, and his latest videos are good entertainment. Check out his channel.
I take broken/worn out bike parts and turn them into functional items (wall mount bottle opening chainring, coat hook handlebars, etc). People always like custom cool things, and if you're handy you can DIY really cool bike gifts on the cheap!
Seeing Drama in the snow makes me sad, I miss Drama already, Rest In Peace and Fly High Drama!
Personal note:
While hanging with Seth, don't wear socks, because he has the urge to stuff multi tools and gift cards inside them
isnt that a good thing?
@@paulmoysa1787 was just thinking that!

Here honey I got you a bench vise
LOL

Chihiro Gustafson funny
Well at least the cops will have an easy time finding your murder weapon
Every real man needs a bench vise...for reasons. Also, an air compressor.

toasty bear or... you can just flip the bike over for free
as long as its a good one, mines a bit flimsy and awkward but still very useful
I should probably get one... But yeah, muddling on without it :(
Flip it over and then break the barb that hooks into your dropper post cable... just a "hypothetical" thing that could happen ;)
toasty bear got my mum to buy me second hand one for Christmas park tools PCS-9 for £15 normally round £80
The best gift is to go mountain biking
MTB_Bros 18 I’m taking my brother to his favorite local trails on Christmas instead of buying him some gear

I live by a specialized bike shop what bike you have and what is good for a beginner like me
Great vid! But... sadly, the only people watching this video are probably bikers
Hint, hint: share on Facebook and tag who you want to see it!
Not exactly subtle, but effective!
Agree
My gf was looking over my shoulder.... it worked I think.

@@The_Sampler hi
And now SMEASH handup gloves. I buy them and fell in love automatically.
I'll take degreaser and shop rags to clean all the grit and mud any bike accumulates.
Nate The Great i agree and buying a whole wd40 bike set would be a cristmas miracle to any of us
I second the shop rags
That’s what I said
I've watched this vid many times and that is because your voice is so so calm just saying. Love your channel by the way
The best gift is to take them to a bike park and get them rental downhill bikes

Why I freaking love your videos? You NEVER clickbait! From your title to your thumbnail you ALWAYS show exactly what you advertise. Love it!
Great video! Just went to Amazon and added most of the items to my Christmas wish list. Thanks for allowing us to ride with you.

I bought the CB F15 based on your last video recommendation. I do not regret it. Best multi tool I’ve ever owned!
Great video! I have several MTB items on my Christmas list this year, but the best gift I get is when my wife hits the trails with me.
Best channel for us bikers !
I think the best gift for mtb are bar ends because we all absolutely destroy them and they are very important if you don't want your bar to cut you.
Agustín Echevarría and you can get them in different colors and they don’t have to be a specific size.
Just going through the comments to see if anyone else was going to say this! They are VERY crucial to a good ride. I can confirm your mountain biking buddy will appreciate some good bar ends.
I was going to buy aluminum bar ends but I need plastic ones because I hit my knees with the bar ends very often
also I hit my pelvis in the side very hard and I cut myself and in another one I landed absolutely on the bar end in my stomach and I was bleeding
That's why you buy metal, so your knee doesn't bust it all up.
I love your vids man, keep it up with the amazing content.
Happy Christmas
I was hoping you might mention a gimbal. But these are all great suggestions none the less. Thanks, Seth!

Amazing video Seth! Could you make more videos of your backyard mtb trail? Or maybe expand it? Keep up the great work!
Another great brand for gloves are Seven MX and Fox. The Zero series from seven is my favorite glove ever, but they are all great!
“But my dog only rides park” lmao
Another great gift for a beginner is a small toolbox with hex wrenches and a multi tool.
Solid bro! also a nice gift is a set of seal skins waterproof all season gloves. about $50.
Great video, Seth!
Thanks for making more videos keep up the great work
