Dihedral works because it moves the center of lift above the center of mass causing the system to be self correcting. It's analogous to trying to balance a pencil on your fingertip versus hanging it.
This is amazing! Like many, I'm so excited about the possibility of getting the EZ Power Pack, it'll make starting out in the hobby with my 5-year old daughter a possibility!!!
Been there. Done that. There is a complete build plan for a foamy available on the web. About 10 or 15 years ago. Uses prop in slot.
They were flying to scale! Galaxy class slow and sluggish, and the K'vort class fast and agile!
For some non-Trekkies, you guys did an amazing job capturing these iconic ships!
Jesus...that Bird of Prey flies AMAZING. I almost wanna see a pusher power pack version with control surfaces!
That was completely awesome. Great work guys.
That Bird of Prey model instantly made me think of the YF -19 from Macross Plus.

Here's a serious challenge for you guys. Josh, Alex, maybe a couple of your "specialist" friends.. A vehicle that flies, goes for a swim, and drives on land. The vehicle I have in mind is "Wet Nellie" from the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me. Based on the Lotus Espirit S1, it would be beautiful to see, and a comprehensive test of R/C capabilities and your amazing improvisational skills. Are you up for it?
Always love to see your creativity and team work.
You guys are just awesome. Living your dream. This will be so great for kids. ✈😎💖
GAME CHANGER!! Now that's innovation
