- Hello everyone!! Hope you are having a great day! Thank you for stopping by! Today in my kitchen we are making………💜
This Tex-Mex-style Chicken Tortilla Soup!! This soup is amazing!! It's light and brothy and served with many delicious toppings!! I make this soup with only fresh ingredients, you must try this!
3 large bone-in chicken breasts
1/2 large onion diced
6 garlic cloves
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 bay leaves
8 cups of water
1 tbsp knorr chicken buillon
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1 chopped serrano pepper
2 minced garlic cloves
2 chopped tomatoes
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp oregano
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 lime
1 cup of vegetable oil for frying
8 corn tortillas cut into strips
1 tsp of creole seasoning
For Toppings and Garnish:
These toppings are optional but work amazing in this soup!!
1 large avocado chopped or sliced
chopped cilantro
lime slices
Oaxaca cheese or cheddar cheese
sour cream

Sooooo good!! When I saw the video it gave me Chuy’s vibes! And I love Chuy’s chicken tortilla soup!! This was very yummy but I did swap the bell pepper for Anaheim pepper and added fresh corn. You did it again!! Such an awesome recipe!! Thank you!!

@@yeseniaskitchen Hey!! I actually made it for dinner tonight! I thought I had serrano pepper but nah so I ended up using half a jalapeno but other than that I followed your recipe and it was just AMAZING 🤩 The whole family loved it not a drop was even left
