- Warhammer and Focus Entertainment sent me the biggest and craziest gift I've ever gotten for a game release. This Space Marine 2 statue is incredible!

The dots on his head are bolts that represent 100 years of service
The chain holds the symbol of the deathwatch and is a reminder of his service with them.
The seals are purity seals, used to protect space marines from the effects of chaos

8:05 The dots on his head are called service studs and indicate years of service. Silver studs are 50 years each and gold are 100 years each if I’m not mistaken. As for the seals, their purpose can range from being awards for great deeds in battle or for warding off chaos like how the Grey Knights use them. The chain on his arm is something taught by the Deathwatch, which is a faction of space marines in the imperium entirely dedicated to hunting aliens/xenos. The death watch can recruit from various loyalist space marine chapters and is often voluntary but sometimes is used as a punishment or penance for space marines who have committed wrongdoings while in service. Titus likely is wearing the chain on his arm as a reminder of his time in the death watch which is common for most marines to do when returning to their chapter after serving in the death watch. I’m definitely not 100% accurate but that should be enough for the general idea.

I mean, he is the same person...
The seals are called purity seals and have prayers and blessings and such written on them. The studs above his eye are called service bolts and each one signifies one century of service (so he's served as a space marine for over 400 years). The chain with the "I" signifies that he is indentured to the Inquisition for one reason or another (it could also signify he served on the Deathwatch). The bones are likely bones that once belonged to either a space marine hero he served with or belonged to a former owner of his current set of armor.

Battle damage? DRY BRUSH IS YOUR FRIEND. Tiny silver or bronze on the dry brush, wipe most paint away on a towel, then go in and just Bob Ross it. The amount of times so little can be so much has helped me with painting masks is incredible

he has chains because he was send to the death watch (to kill aliens and/or die trying) to repent for being chaos resistant more than one, most of the time is(even though thats a good thing) .he chose to keep the chains
and btw red helmets show ranks (captain) .which he was but the whole repentance thing got him demoted

I know nothing about Warhammer, but holy cow that's on detailed and amazing statue. The details in the colouring/painting is just so freakin' good. Especially the blood around the stomping.

The wax seals are purity seals, they're a mix of medals of honor and blessed items used to enhance their battle prowess through faith and service to the Emperor

No they don't really serve a practice purpose and are like medals as far as I know
Just fact checked myself and It says they are used in order to provide divine protection from harm for some warriors
Also dependent on the reason and writer of them. Titus writes one in the intro to the game and thats an Oath of moment. A tech priest may write a purity seal extolling the machines function or blessing it from harm. Some like inquisitors may have prayers or the names of demons on them

The wax seals, golden trinkets and bones are all holy relics. The wax seals also are sort of a certificate of quality made by the Mechanicus when they produced it. The studs on his head mark his age, but whether or not a stud is 50 or 100 years varies from writer to writer.

The weapons being magnetized is actually lore accurate too! They use mag-clamps for their gear, so theres no need for holsters and such.
